M.A.N. from Metaluna

After the atomic wars finally ended on the planet Metaluna the original humanoid inhabitants were extinct. In there place arose a race of mutants. These creatures were both more intelligent and more rational than the humanoids. There were also able to manipulate their physical structure to survive in the harshest environments. The mutants built a new civilization from the wreakage of the old and then sent emissaries into space to contact (and if necessary aid) other intelligent races.
