This is the first drawing of Kaezu...ever. Kaezu was inspired by deep sea fish such as anglers, and other marine creatures such as eels and specifically snapping turtles. This sketch was done in 2004 on my way back from an aquarium. I had no idea at the time that this sketch would evolve into an entire lore of creatures and ancient people spanning six epics!
