Now that the roost has moved to a new server, and (im assuming) we have more space, how about introduding an Ultraman sub-forum, seeing as how he is an enourmous (pun intended http://www.kaijuphile.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif ) character in kaiju eiga.
After all, he's not just a "television kaiju", but is involved in movies, toys, etc. and deserves at least SOME recognition on this board. So, I think there should be an Ultraman forum now.
Anyone agree?

If an Ultraman board is put up, than a Super Sentai board has to have one, Kamen Rider, Metal Heroes, Kyodai Heroes, and Tokusatsu Heroes. Than Kaijuphile becomes a Japan Hero board and not a Kaiju forum.
Also, again I have to point out; there was, what three topics on Ultraman in the last four months? Just not enough posts to have its own board.
I am all for an Ultraman board, and most should know why, but I don't want to see it go to waste either.

The Admins & Mods will have to talk this one over. If we do one, I want it to be done properly, maybe an Ultraman Sub-Forum could do the trick. We'll let you know soon what we decide...

If we do get a Ultraman Forum, I hope that more people get involved in Ultraman fandom or even more of the hero fandoms, since they really don't know what they are missing out on.

Right you are. Take it from someone who had been missing out for years... (in other words, me http://www.kaijuphile.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif)
Let's just hope it attracts a lot of attention. If Ultraman gets his own part of the board, then the giant in red and silver tights damn well deserves attention! Perhaps we should wait and see how many people reply in this topic.

a perfect reason for an Ultraman forum is not only to create a place for fans to discuss Ultraman, but also to introduce the passive kaiju fan to the world of Ultraman, a place they may have wrongly assumed wasn't related to kaiju eiga at all!

Lesson Number One:
Ultras ARE NOT Kaiju any more than Jet Jaguar is.
Lesson Number Two:
ABSOLUTE ULTRAMAN! (http://www.waynebrain.com/ultra/) http://www.kaijuphile.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif
Lesson Number Three:
ENJOY! http://www.kaijuphile.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif

Kaijuphiles,
We are pleased to announce that due to demand and the genre's overall popularity we have added an 'Ultraman and Japanese Heroes' section to the kaijuphile.com Forums!
There are 3 sub-forums contained within it that cover both eras of Ultraman and general Hero chatter.
Special thanks go to Biohazard for helping with the set up, descriptions, and arrangement of everything!
