Thats not half-bad....heres the site translated...

"It came small and heroes - GAMERA -" photographing was done last month, the Shima city Daio Cho wave ardently.
While the spectator is played and many extras surround, the scene and the like where Tomioka cool you of protagonist Aizawa being transparent part chase the trailer which carries ガメラ which is injured was photographed. As for the people who view ガメラ which keeps being carried really to the real it seems that can do the performance which with is surprised to the scale, everyone is very good. The day the time was the meeting difficult appearance of the sky where the time strong rain falls, but safety photographing ended.
As for this work that ガメラ with the boy grows from the place where you can apply the egg it is drawn with the approach where you say and is not so far.
[ The right photograph: It just was born the scene where トト and being transparent play ]
Child ガメwhich plays トト with this scene for the southern origin is vulnerable to cold, you do not insert either air-conditioning in the room where child moth メis and have raised important in severe heat.

The new Gamera design is very impressive, not sure about you guys but I like it!

I agree with you completely.
Things don't look too good for Gamera this time.
Not only does Gamera look kiddie, but the whole plot does. And the kid star doesn't help matters either. I prefer Gamera like he was in the Heisei films. :(

Oh, and is that picture from the actual movie?
Or some kind of publicity photo?

Actual movie. It says on Monster Zero. The little kid that raised him is gonna chase the truck, I hope he gets roadkilled.:darklord:

Oh good god,

That's just the juvenile Gamera. That doesn't mean he be cute in his final form. God, you guys take things so seriously.

And yes, I like the old Gamera movies, so sue me!

Looks like something pulled out of The Flintstones. To be honest, from everything I've seen, read and been told, I doubt have much hope for this movie at all. I'll try and remain as open minded as I can, though.

It might just be the kid in me, but frankly I think this movie is already starting to look both awesome and quite fun. Viewing the teaser trailer only cements this for me. Starting off all dark, grim, and serious showing quick glances of the new mature Gamera design... Atleast what I assume is Gamera. It looked to have a thornie back, so perhaps there were also glances of his new upcoming opponent... You even have a deep voiced narrator explaining something, only I don't know what since I don't speak a lick of Japanese and don't pretend too.

But then that deep voice becomes quite joyous, showing a tiny turtle walking on top of a desk finally breathing a small puff of fire. I am man enough to say when something is cute, and that was indeed cute. But I forgot, in this fandom... Everything must be grim, evil and serious with no fun what so ever. Kinda hilarious when the majority of flicks are the exact opposite of that. These movies are essentially kid flicks, and we love them so much because we never let our inner child die off. Gamera: Revenge of Iris was that serious movie many wanted, and it went out with a bang. But I honestly don't care for it that much. Too anime-like for my blood. Gamera: Guardian of the Universe however, now there's my favorite of the heisei trilogy. More kaiju eiga could learn from it, as it had a fair balance.

So frankly, I can't wait for Gamera: The Tiniest Heroes....

I must admit that I am not as turned off by what I've seen so far as I thought I would be.

I'm waiting until I see the film before passing any judgment...
