Given that, as many of you know, I've been deeply engrossed in the Doom games and such for a few months now, the idea of its nightmarish mythos entering Roost Fighter shouldn't be too surprising to you. Lost Souls were going to show up in RF vs MaserCity, and various Doom beasties will rear their ugly heads in RFA3 (and there might be a Cyberdemon in RFA2, but we'll see about that). But what would happen if their entrance into RF were full-blown?
Roost Fighter 3/Roost Fighter Alpha 4
Basically, one of the heroes from RFA3 dies, and he/she winds up trapped in a land of dark caverns, rivers of lava, and endless legions of monsters - Hell, of course. Battling all sorts of twisted fiends and revenants, our hero must gain entrance out of the underworld and return to life on Earth... or at least a more pleasant afterlife.
It's a very barebones story right now, almost like that of Doom itself. But I thought I would see if anyone was interested. Or might it work better as a non-canon Halloween story for this year or next year?
