Battlefield: Area 51
Welcome to the Worst-Kept Secret in US history. There are no tall scyscrapers to hide behind here, only the government labs and warehouses along with the open desert. Sounds like a nice place to fight, right? Wrong, the military will blast your kaiju with their futuristic weaponry. Military Weapons that actually hurt kaiju. As preposterous as it sounds, its true. This may be a military-kaiju conflict that the kaiju will not survive.

Name: Queen Rygama
Height: 50 meters
Type: Mutation
Role: villain

Powers\Abilities: a triphibian in it's purest form, Rygama is fully capable of functioning on land and underwater. More at home underwater however, rygama is also capable of taking to the skies on a pair of large, ribbed wings. When engaged in melee, as she frequently is, Rygama is armed with claws of impressive length as well as a vicious bite. Her back, lined with spines, occasionally serves to another advantage. Her tail is adorned with a sharp barbed stinger capable of injecting a potent toxin. Her venom will weaken the muscles in an opponent's body, often leaving a limb paralyzed. The corroding effects will also leave tissue damage near the site of the sting. However, the efefcts wear off after a few minutes, making this primarily a tactical weapon. At a distance she is capable of spitting a stream of neon colored plasma, striking like a caustic liquid. This "Venom-Spit Ray" as it was dubbed, will cling to a target, continuing to burn. To aid in defense, Rygama is a rapid healer. While not nearly in the rank of biollante or orga, Rygama is made difficult to kill because of her rengenerative factor. This is hampered to almost nil in a cold environment however.

To summarize: Flight, amazing swimmer, alien plasma spit, poison sting, Regeneration Level 2, Chaos Symbiote Level 1

Weakness: As stated, Rygama is reduced to moderate animal healing in a cold environment. In addition, her Venom-Spit ray is unusable underwater. While far from stupid, Rygama only has the intelligence of a dog or wolf.

Strengths
Resistance: 10
Range Attack: 7
Melee Attack: 8
Speed: 9
Intelligence: 5
Reflexes: 7
Acrobatics: 8

Fighting Style: Simply put, Rygama is a predator. If at all possible, she will attempt to remain a step above an enemy, only fighting on their terms if she has no choice. Against terrestrial foes she will immidiately go for any large body of water, wanting to play killer croc. If unable to drag her prey underwater, she will take to the air. Rygama will also frequently break away fromc ombat beneath the waves or high in the clouds to recuperate before striking once more.
Rygama is a loner by nature but if she is ever given a reason to take sides then she will always be feircly loyal to her allies. She is also incredibly stubborn and will not change sides, nor will she retreat for any reason other than to recuperate.

History: A horribly mutated form of tropical animal. That is about all that is known about Rygama. Of course there are plenty of beleivers that she is an alien. These reports are usually unfounded, however as She is never reported to be associated with any sort of UFO. She is often thought of as being some form of ancient aquatic reptile, mutated by local pollutants. Her environment of choice certainly has enough toxins in the water to support this theory. Her arthropod features such as the armored exoskeleton are generally supported as the result of crustacean or insect prey being inserted into her own genome after a meal. This is all merely theory however. Some have even suggested that she may be a mutated member of the El Chupacabra species. Yet she demonstrates neither hemovorous nature nor an advanced chameleonic trait. Whatever her origin, Rygama is here and she's not leaving. Her territory seems to extend from the tropical waters of hawaii to japanese shores in warm weather. Still, she has been known to make nocturnal raids on civilized area more than a few times.

Weakness: Frequently breaks away from fighting to rest, Cold temperatures hinder her regeneration

Name: X-Caliber
Type: Mecha
Role: Anti-hero.
Height: 175 Metres.
Weight: 30000 Metric Tons.

Powers: Teleportation, energy blades on each of the arms, blasters, XPort (device that teleports weapons directly into the intestines of the kaiju). Has the physical adeptness of General Grievous, with eight limbs, Shell Level 1, Flight Level 1, Chaos Symbiote Level 1

Strength:
Resistance: 7
Melee Attack: 6
Range Attack: 5
Speed: 8
Reflexes: 10
Intelligence: 9
Acrobatics: 10

History: A mecha built by a consortium of major economic and military superpowers to defend them against kaiju attacks. Note that more than one is planned and other competing mechs will follow.

Fighting Style: Depends on the abilities of the opponent. Against strong HTH fighters, the pilot of X-Caliber will revert to long-range bombardment, using the mech’s high agility, speed, and teleportation to avoid contact and projectiles. Against a strong long-range opponent, or weak HTH fighter, the bot will move in and go HTH beserk on them.

Weakness: X-Caliber is susceptible to electric attacks, even though the redundant systems prevent a full out shutdown, it takes a bit for the mech to correct itself.

Kamiryu
Height: 450 meters
weight: 900,000 tons
wingspan: 500 meters

powers: Element Dragon Blast (fires a deadly beam that packs the power of Earth, fire and sky), cannot be damaged by heat or fire of any kind, Flight, Can survive in space, Black Flamethrower (Kamiryu shoots a nasty black fire that has dark propertys to it)

resistance: 10
range attack: 10+
melee attack: 10+
speed: 1
intelligence: 10
reflexes: 2
acrobatics: 1

fighting style: Will mindlessly attack anything that pisses him off. He shows no mercy at all. He rarely thinks about his actions. He is a tank of a kaiju

History: After Gigaraptor and Raya killed the three element dragons, Akaryu and Sukairyu and Kaisairyu, there three life forces fused together and created the emperor dragon, Kamiryu. Kamiryu was killed by AncientGigaraptor, but somehow he was ressurected and now kills everthing that crosses his path.

Weakness: He's reeeeaaaallllllly sloooooooow.

Hmm...toughie....much tougher than the last one....
X-caliber's shell and symbiote(wait, a mech can have a symbiote?) boost his resistance to 9. On the other hand his speed is dropped to 1 point below rygama's. His flight means he's more stable when he teleports into the air...

Then again, his attacks havent been boosted at all and he's even less able to hurt (now with a resistance of 10) Rygama. My guess is that the military will go after the much easier to hit Kamiryu rather than the two speedsters high above. X's attacks are no stronger than they were so they'll have even less chance of penetrating rygama's newly powered armor. He's also mildly slower than her now, though still more nimble. Rygama's regen is also boosted so attacks will make her even harder to damage.

Hmm...Rygama is tougher and heals faster, plus X's new shell makes queeny the fastest monster in this match. On the other hand, X's teleportion and higher reflexes make him harder to hit and his armor is tougher than it was...Meaning rygama will have to either hit him with alot of miasma beams(yet another pet name for her plasma spitting ability) or go melee.

Now kamiryu will probably hit rygama first, since she's a tad less agile than X but queeny will be able to take it better and recover from it faster. Kamiryu also takes alot of the military off of rygama's carapace, meaning she's less distracted. If Tevo could beat Kamiryu then so could QR, but there's a third party here...

Dang this one's hard! Well X is less able to damage rygama than he was before but harder for her to damage too...On the other hand, Rygama is now the fastest monster on the feild, against a slightly more agile opponent...well teleporters always get hit sometimes and he has alot more powerful attacks heading his way now.
With 2 monsters out to get him(though K will probably be distracted by the military.) He may actually be alot more easy to damage when X or QR finish off their opponent...

Well...by prinicples, X may be harder to damage but his attacks still won't damage Rygama very much. Even less due to her symbiotic armor and increased regeneration. (Wait, I bought regen level 1, but it says 2. Does this mean she has level 2 as though she never had it to begin with or is her old regen now boosted by 75%?)
If It's the latter then I think X is is toast...if it's the former then I'm gonna spend the whole day thinking...

It appears PH forgot to modify our bios.

Anyway, I too am having a tough time with this fight, but I am leaning towards Kamiryu.

No I didn't, I listed your new powers...oops. I didn't modify stats...

*cusses and gets to work editing*

Now, I think XC will win. Kamiryu has an ice beam, which will take out Rygama's regeneration, which will get her blasted apart in this melee. Kamiryu will then fall to XC, when Kamiryu's intestines get blasted apart by XPort.

Winner: XCaliber

I'v been twirling this around all day today and yesterday and I have come to a conclusion.

Winner: Rygama.

Yeah, I'm voting for myself but every bit of logic my mind can muster says that she would be the most likely winner.

Now, to put together every major reason I could find, First lets start witht he basics. X-caliber versus Rygama. With a speed of nine and a resistance of 10, X caliber's weapons are pretty much useless. His blasters(5) and blades (6) can't really do much against rygama's newly enhanced armor. And any scratch they do will heal pretty much instantanously. A scratch is just a scratch. Now, what if he does try to use these? Well Rygama moves at extremely high speeds. XC can now levitate briefly which gives him the ability to divert all attention to hitting rygama but theres been a flaw in that plan the whole time: rygama moves too fast. He can teleport beside or below her but she'll be long past him by the time he can bring those swords to her. XC can teleport and hover, not fly. He'll be stationary in the air while rygama zooms past. Second, If he tries to teleport in front of her...well...can you imagine a jagged, chitinous mass slamming into you at that speed? Add in how much smaller Rygama is and she could very well go right through him! 50 meters vs 175 meters=penetration.
The blasters are pretty much a no factor on the outside.
On the inside, see Rygama vs XC R1 Discussion thread for what will happen when X teleports the weapons inside her.

Lets also look at the size issue.
Rygama:Height: 50 meters

XC: Height: 175 Metres.

Kamiryu: Height: 450 meters

Rygama is less than one third XC's height, and pretty much a bug to kamiryu.
Yet she is as durable as kam and even faster then XC. Her reflexes and acrobatics may be slightly lower than XC's but she's a LOT smaller. Kam is a lot more likely to notice(not to mention hit) XC.

And if XC is hit then it could spell doom for him.

So XC doesn't have very much that can hurt her and kam more than likely wont even touch her. Plus if Rygama is hit then she would be alot more likely to recover. Oh Kam's blast is at least 1 point higher than her resistance but thats nothing that her regen couldnt cover in about...oooh..30-40 seconds. Again, a cold environment is constant, an Ice beam is not.

So in the long run I see the waterbug coming out on top. She can just outlast either opponent.

This is a tough one, but I think I'm going to have to favor Rygama.

For me it comes down to who is going to be smart enough to stay out of the way. What gives Rygama her edge in this particular battle is her relatively small size and the fact that she is essentially an ambush predator. Her very nature means she's going to wait and attack the one she deems weakest.

I would think that Kamiryu would attack the more visible opponent first, which in this case would be X-Caliber. X would then be forced to defend himself. Whoever would wind up winning that battle would then be attacked by Rygama.

If it were Rygama vs Kamiryu, Rygama could run circles around him and eventually wear the battle-weakened Kamiryu down. If Kamiryu were to get in a lucky shot, Rygama's high resistance coupled with her now upgraded regeneration would keep her fighting for a long time, certainly long enough to eventually down Kamiryu.

If it were Rygama vs X-Caliber, the outcome would be a little harder to predict. X can nearly keep up with Rygama and he's a lot smarter, but his weaker firepower, armor, and lack of regeneration are what I believe will be the deciding factors. All in all, likely another long battle, but eventually Rygama will come out on top.

Winner: Queen Rygama

Winner: Queen Rygama

Fer the same reasons that Bio ands Halomek already covered. ^^;

Well, I revise my choice as to the winner. Thanks goes out to Gorjirus and the "Gavantor vs. Angelus EX-1" fight discussion.

X-Caliber

To take Gorjirus' comments in "Gavantor vs. Froggy-T"...

It is all about the teleportation. The arguments used in the Gavantor vs Angelus fight apply here. Speed doesn't matter when the opponent can appear right in front of you in mid attack. Gavantor wins, as he can teleport around, constantly attacking and dodging Froggy-T.

Isnt round 2 already over?

Not till someone says it is...

That being said, I'm going to vote for Kamiryu. It's a tank of a kaiju, with extreamly strong attacks and defense. It may be slow, but it'd only take a few hits to take one of the down with force, depending on if one of the others didn't kill the other. If that did happen, that only makes Kamiryu's job easier.

Darkside posted in the wrong thread. So here's his vote until he can actually post it in the right area:

Yikes, a tough call. But I can see this from BS's point of view, So my vote is to X-Caliber.

X-Caliber and Queen Rygama tie! Again!
