Rate this idea for a power for a fanfic

Ok in this fanfic do you think that godzilla's super regenerative powers be extend. well here is the idea. Godzilla's cells contains a mini-cell that and each mini cell is unique. So once something destroy part of his body the mini cells not destroyed shall be part of the new regenerated part and be resistant to the weapon or attack. I call this power: living evolution. and the reason is that i want to put this power is because in my fanfic the big g will face a variety of attacks that don't kill him but make him stronger.

So, in essence, he becomes Gokuzilla V.2?

The idea is okay and all, I just don't like the 'get your *** kicked for the first part of the fight but come back uber strong and kick the bad guys *** in one fell swoop' deal that a lot of Anime seems to like doing these days, and that this idea would eventually lead to if not done correctly.

It might work if Godzilla is the main bad guy, but I wouldn't really find something where the good guy had this overly entertaining, but maybe it's just me.

Like AS22 I don't really see much point in it. Not only would it make your Godzilla to powerful, it would make every opponent he faces come down to battles where Godzilla gets pounded and beaten baddly, then he heals and recovers and simply goes back and pummels his foe very quickly, as his opponent would not be able to hurt him in any way at that point. Every fight would have the same battle sequence, Godzilla loses and retreats to heal, then he returns and beats his foe who can no longer harm him. There is no suspense in that just as there is no fear of Godzilla losing. IMO it takes away from what you can do creatively and weakens your story before you even start to write one.

Let me just adjust that power slightly. Ok the new revised version will have have his body "cushioned" against the attack or weapon, and I said "cushioned" the same attack or weapon won't be so effective but still very damaging and painful.
