Actually, I think I remember something Sauron wrote once that you don't have to do something stupid to be banned. You can be banned simply for being a downer, a buzzkill, a negative influence on the forum. I don't think it's ever happened, but it's possible. I've seen people banned from other forums for a lot less than what's going on now. The admin was a dick, didn't like a particular post, and poof, instant ban.
