And of course thanks to Sam Register and the rest of CNs anime induced programmers, this pops up under the radar and at the last moment. Still, thanks for the reminder on it showing tonight!

Not true. They have had this thing advertised all week. I knew about it since last Saturday.

Sorry, just went on assumptions based on how almost every other non-anime show on CN tends to get very little fan fair while marathons of Naruto re-runs get advertising around the clock...yes, I was being bias, but at least it was based on experiance.
Oh, and Sam Register still sucks.
Anyway, was dissopointed with the film, most notably the casting changes and out of character (at least for the Tim/DC universe) of Lex Luthor and Braniac. But I still enjoyed it on its own lower level and at least Superman / Clark and Lois faired quite well in the story / character department. Also for a film that dosne't do well storywise, at least it delivers on the action factor aand quite well, which is its only true saving grace. Still, this is perhaps the weakest Bruce Timm DC film so far...but even with that said its a lot more welcomed then say marathons of Naruto re-runs.

Was this even apart of the ANimated Series?
Jesus, that was NOT Luthor, that was NOT Mercy, that was SO NOT ****ING BRAINIAC...
What the HELL?
Brainiac kept on calling Supes the Only Son of Krypton, when he himself was also a son of Krypton.
Luthor and Brainiac had never met before that time peroid, when in the Animated Series Brainiac had taken Luthor HOSTAGE early on...
There were SO many continuty mistakes that I view this as a Non canon, absolutly pathetic, alt. universe tale.
Seriously though. The only characters IN character were Supes and Jimmy.
Why do I not include Lois? Last I checked she didn't go weakneed whenever Super Man was around.
As its own story, maybe.
But added onto the Animated Series? It doesn't even register. I mean, what did they do to the Fortress of Solitude? That wasn't it.
This had nothing to do with the Animated Series.
But, I must admit, it did some some good fight scenes, and Supes got one or two great scenes out of it...but this was not Animated Series continuty.

It was ok. Luthor was definitly out of character. Brainiac was half decent, but Luthor... ug... I give it a 6 out of 10 mostly because the fight with Brainiac at the end was really cool.
Still, this is perhaps the weakest Bruce Timm DC film so far...but even with that said its a lot more welcomed then say marathons of Naruto re-runs.
Hey leave Naruto alone.:p

Something that should be noted.
Here's a tidbit from Wikipedia: Writer Duane Capizzi, who is a supervising producer for the television series The Batman (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Batman_%28TV_series%29) wrote the script for this movie.
Wikipedia also said this movie isn't in continuity with the Animated Series, take it as you will.

I KNEW it wasn't. The Fortress wasn't the same, Brainiac was screwed up, (He never even called Supes Kal El, PLUS he didn't know who he really was!) Luthor was...
****ing christ. My hate for The Batman and it's creators could not grow any more if they tried to remake Supes themselves.
