Awright, this is probably on hold until after the Desumachii, just 'cause we won't have the time.

Some differences this time around-

Failure to make fuill disclosure of all abilities of a fighter at the start of the thing will get your team DQed. NO, "and now, something I've been saving" crap.

I will be a lot more stringent with who is acceptable in the combats.

Failure to stick around after your team is eliminated will bar you from any such event I host in the future. You WILL stick around, or you will find someone else's tourney to drop out of.

Beyond that, I simply want three characters to a team, and under the "detonate a building" level of capability.

I have one more character in mind, but I'm deciding. Cole, I used Phazon Suit Samus from Metroid Prime, would she be allowed to have all of her abilities and weapons? (Space/Gravity Jump Boots, Power Beam, Wave Beam, Ice Beam, Plasma Beam, Missiles, Super Missiles, Wavebuster, Ice Spreader, Flamethrower, Morph Ball, Boost Ball, Morph Ball Bomb, Spider Ball, Power Bomb, Grappling Beam, Combat Visor, Scan Visor, Thermal Visor, and X-Ray Visor)


Honestly, Samus is pushing it...
For that matter, Ph, Alastor is also pushing it. I would say think smaller, less earth-shaking kaboom.

I assume this is because of the general lack of fluidity regarding the info on the Pokemon's abilities between between the Games and the show? If thats the case, couldn't I just use the anime version of Suicune only? Suicune has only made one appearence in the anime so far, and as a Legendary Pokemon, there is only one Suicune so there wouldn't be any conflicting displays of power that usually result in the Anime from different people owning different members of the same species.

But if not, I guess I can replace him...

Odo's only problem is that he'd be pretty much invulnerable against the other fighters... I'd allow him if none of the others have a problem with him. Kenshin... Well, my perosnal dislike of the schmuck aside, would be barely tolerable. His "warrior spirit" or whatever it is would not be a factor, however.

Gor, remember the battle with Shishio? After Aoshi, Sano and Saito were all taken out, Kenshin came back with a boost from his Warrior Spirit, which was strong enough to allow him to continue fighting, not only with him ignoring all of his horrible injuries, but also with power superior to Sishio. This Warrior Spirit also had an aura that shattered leaves all around him.

However, I don't think it gives him insane strength so much as it does endurance and fortitude, considering that Kenshin could've probably beat Sishio their first round if he hadn't been battered from his fights with Sejiro and Aoshi.

Figment- Mickey is acceptable, provided you keep him dialed back a patch. Stitch is way, way, way too powerful for this tournament. As for Figment, we need a cleaer idea of his actual abilities.

Orga- Given what you were claiming about Knightmare last time around, he's a bit much. I'll accept him if you simply give him the balanced out in-game tricks and nothing else.

PH- Storm is acceptable, provided you don;t use the godlike version that some Marvel writers thrrew around in the '90s. I'll accept the mid to late-'80s Claremont version who didn't rountinely zap her foes with lightning bolts. However, if you use her, I'm going to pull several of her fangs via house rules. No flooding out the other team, no hurricaning them away. Maybe a MArvel vs. Capcom-level version of her.

Figured Stitch would be too strong. As for Figment's abilities, I basically took them from what he does in the Imagination attractions, such as the mid-scale reality warping (as it's probably not as strong as other reality warping characters and nowhere near what Scarlet Witch was capable of before making most mutant powers go poof). I linked to Figment's Imagination for the ride video of the current ride it had, which would have shown visually what he could do with the power of his imagination, like turn his house upside down, transformation of a laboratory into an abstract landscape like the original attraction, some quick transformation(like the skunk form and seems able to transform Eric Idle's character into a singing moon in the final scene) and duplication. If you think the attraction is too vague on what he could do or (sounding a bit overconfident with my favorite Disney character) think his imagination abilities could give him an unfair edge as well, I could try switching him for another character.

And Gantu? He definately has the building destroying capability that Cole set as the bar for the most powerful character that could be let in. In fact, Gantu regularily lifts the roof off of Lilo's house in The Series with no strain on himself whatsoever.

EDIT: In fact, I think Gantu is over-powered because he regularily fights with Stitch and SURVIVES without sustaining serious injuries. It doesn't matter that Stitch always beats him, but the fact that Gantu makes it through his encounters with Stitch without being put into a vegetative state.

Yeah, Animated Spidey is less powerful all around. He's less agile, less strong, maybe more durble, but he never punches. He only kicks.

He's also, arguably, smarter.


With the Symbiot, he could lift a fire truck with some ease and could use the Rhino as a chew toy. Basically he's a LITTLE stronger the base 616 Spidey.

Oh, and can he be armed with a pistol and knife? That's more than he'll need most of the time, but it could come in handy.

I also find the Wiki article woefully incomplete, watch some of the videos on this guy's site, and note that he moves faster than the human eye can comprehend. (Eyewitness accounts from those I trust have confirmed this.)

Hard to say. It's a bit vague on the actual power level of those attacks. Well, in one of the books he blew one of the good guys through three walls with a lightning ball. And the eye of dawn can make part of the roof of a cave explode, not break and fall, actually explode so he could do the same with other solid surfaces. And his lightning storm is similar to Storm's. The Freezing Spell freezes people solid. And the ball of fire, well it's like the Human Torch shooting a fireball.

Does that explain it?

Lucy was only able to deflect those bullets by concentrating, not to mention she only has 3 or 4 "Vectors" (Invisible arm tentecley things), so she could be overwhelmed by non-energy attacks.

Aswell, explosives would also be effected if aimed right.

Meh..... I have a character than can handle her fine. :p Shikamaru punks! And Taskmaster uses guns so.... But the rest of the teams don't have that except Gor's, so it is unfair to the other teams. I would change that character SL.
Not unless Cole tells me to. She can be beaten, you just need to use your imagination. Think about it, truely. She has to concentrate to catch bullets..

V is okay. However, bear in mind that, like Batman and Doctor Doom, prep is his strong suit, and I won't be having any of that. No metal playe under his cloak. No pre-set explosives. No enemies manipulated into fighting each other. Just so it's clear.

Also...don't think about using guns. Why? She caught them, and threw them back...

No. Pick something else. You have to "think" about how to beat her? Remember, nobody gets to make any preparations, and nobody has any prior klnowledge of thier foes. And unlike, say, Venom, who has a weakness to fire (a common enough thing in most battlefields), she has very specific vulnerabilities which most teams wouldn't llive long enough to discover. Ditch her.

Zear- Sure, you can have a normal human with a knife and a pistol. Say which type of pistol though, because caliber and ammo capacity mean a lot in the hands of a mere mortal.

Wildvine- Stick with King Boo. That mage is still a bit... iffy.

Doc- V doesn;t get his plate because, to be honest, it's crap body armor. Venom (who is legal) got shot with a 12-gauge shell at point blank and ignored it. The plate will do nothing but slow V down. Cobra Commander is a go (although youy might want to detail, his weapons loadout. The Joker is a go as well, under similar conditions- tell me what he's got with him. However, being as the Joker is an utter maniac, I'll be considewrably more lax about what sort of hardware he's likely to simply haul around with him.

That was because Pride's son made the mistake of bringing in his father's skull, the only thing that could kill Pride, because it was a part of his original body. Had that never happened, Roy would've been dead, his alchemy alone couldn't do that. No one's alchemy could, the only way to completely destroy a Humonculi is by destroying something of their first body, this is Ed why couldn't stop Sloth, but Wrath did when he merged with her body after absorbing a bone from Tricia Elric.

Doc- What, no Smilex for the Joker? I said I'd let him get away with a bit, weapons-wise. Three molotovs is well within reason.V can have functionally unlimited smoke bombs. I mean, hell, his body armor wouldn't even slow most of these guys down. Combra Commander's weapons are a decided go. Of COURSE he can have an RPG-7. THat'll only blow up a mid-sized room.
