I think this storyline deserves its own thread. I've been a Hulk fan since the late '70s and I think this is the best the series has been since the days of Peter David. Greg Pak seems a worthy succesor to PAD.
BSDQ; LOVE the Civil War sig!! You are so right. Hulk will smash.

I wholeheartedly agree! I admit I haven't been reading every issue, but I try to catch it when I can. I love the art that has been going along with it as well.
I am really interested to see all that happens when Hulk returns to Earth. (Though with as much "fun" as he has been having, I don't see why he would be THAT mad at the Illuminati).

Well they lied to him, screwed him over, and sent his *** packing on a big rocket ship, to what was originally supposed to be an uninhabited planet... but cue one worm hole and now he's on that alien world. Sure he's having lotsa "fun" but still... they, the Illuminati, lied to him... betraying what little trust the Hulk has in ANY of them... and the Hulk is known to hold grudges. So make no mistake about it... Hulk's gonna have alotta issues once he comes back to Earth. If I were Iron Man, Reed Richards, Professor X, etc. I'd be scared if I were them... and hope to the gods that he doesn't come back anytime soon.

Kind of interesting that he turned down Silver Surfer's offer of a ride home. "I am home," he said. What's gonna make him change his mind? We'll find out next spring. And you're right SXA, things are gonna get real interesting for that group collectively known as the Illuminati about that time.

But why would Hulk care? Gorogozilla mentioned that he LIKES where he is. Why should he be mad if they lied to him and sent him someplace that he likes more than where he was?
I would be mad if I was made to leave, not how I got there in the first place.
But I do want to see Iron Man pull out an aweosme new version of the Hulkbuster armor (similar to what we see on the cover of IM #12).

I don't read comics, but this whole event sounds interesting. I have this question though: Where is Bruce Banner through this whole thing? Has the Hulk reverted back into Banner at any point during this?

Didn't Hulk briefly become Banner in the Giant Planet Hulk issue? Or does that issue not count?

I believe, based on what I remember, that that was just a dream within Hulk's mind. I guess thats where Banner's been all this time. :p

But Melik saw Banner, then rubbed his eyes and it was Hulk again. I mean, yes, Banner is in Hulk's head when Hulk is out. I know that, but it seemed to me that Banner actually made it out for that split second before Hulk took back over.

I don't remember that part. The issue was pretty 'wierd' as is, so I'm not really sure I'm gonna accept that as a case of bonafide reversion to Banner.

Ah.
Well, Miek hears something, wakes up, and Banner is where Hulk was sleeping, wearing the too large armor, talking aobut how he "made it". then Liek blinks, and it reverts back to Hulk. Miek asks him about it qand Hulk says Miek was dreaming.
But I agree. That was a weird issue.

I think since Miek was chembonded, or whatever it'se called, with ol' Green Genes, he probably saw something. But it's gonna happen eventually, it's gotta happen, :P somewhere along this quest, Hulk's gonna turn back to "Puny Banner."
and I don't think any puny "Hulkbuster" armor's gonna help IronMan much when the Big Green comes back to Earth. :sly:

No Hulkbuster armor is puny. :p
you just wait. If Stark does build a new Hulkbuster suit, its going to be freakin sweet.
I mean, regular Iron Man once KO'ed Hulk with a single punch. (though I do not beleive that Hulk was at full "angry" strength.).
Any Iron Man vs Hulk fight is going to be awesome.
Though I still don't understand why Hulk would be mad at being spent to space. I guess that's just me.
Maybe's he's mad at them becuase they won't send him back. :p
