I've seen and reported a few I spotted registering. I think there's been two or three in the last 24 hours. Is this a monthly wave or something? At this rate I wouldn't mind being a mod just to wipe out these bots when I spot them registering >.< I may not do great at keeping people in line, but I could be a spam bot police person or something and nip them in the bud when I see them signing up.
Hey admins, is there any way to change the registering area of this board so you have to enter a code(ie copy a jpg image of random letters)? You know, like on Yahoo. It might cut down on the bots as well.....just a suggestion. :)

We are brainstorming ideas about how to cut down on them. These guys are really just a minor annoyance especially around the holidays.

Yeah, I really don't notice 'em that much.
Though every once in a while I run across one...

Basically, as long as you ignore them and don't click on a link to anything, they can't harm you.

Aww, can I keep one as a pet? I promise I'll train it not to leave its spam-poo all over the board. Pwease? *puppy face*

It seems as though the spam they keep posting gets even more inappropriate every day.

I dunno.
That last one only wanted to sell us a house.

Well for the past couple days they haven't been as bad as they were, lets hope it stays that way.

Some of them like to close the door when they mate, they aren't gonna shout it out. Unless their drunk...

I've instated some more rigid requirements for registering, so hopefully the days of the Spam Bots are over.

YAY, that is great. :) Those registration requirements help, however it makes more work for the admins, since they have to activate the validating accounts, at least that is what I do on KG lol. ;)

It would seem that in my absence kaijuphile went through an interesting time.

Some still seem to get through, but not like before. I'll keep reporting them on sight :)
