It has been six years since the incident on Jurassic Park. With the consent of John Hammond, troops have been sent in to wipe out the remaining dinosaurs. However, ever time troops are sent in, they mysteriously disappear. Time and time again, bigger troops with bigger guns are sent in........but always lose contact with base after a day or two. Some speculate that some kind of disease has started and run rampant through the island......some think a completly new species with deadly capibilities has evolved.........
The army base in running out of volenteers to go to the island. Soon, the army stops going all toghther. Rather than bombing the island and risking the disease (if there is any) contaminating the ocean around it, the army has dicided to have army cruisers circle the island 24/7, to make sure no animals escape.

and so, the story begins..........
Robert Muldon was among the orignal staff in Jurassic Park. An expert game hunter, he had been put in charge of hunting the raptors that had escaped their pens during the blackout. Unfortunatly, he was caught by surprise by one of the raptors, lost contact with base, and assumed dead. Indeed, the raptor had jumped on him and was in the process of tearing out his stomach when Robert pulled out a flare gun and shot it at the raptor's head. He missed, but he did graze the side of the raptor's face, causing it to go blind in one eye and leaving a huge scar on the jaw. The raptors ran off frightend and Robert limped across the island to the helicopter pad, barely escaping before passing out.
Years passed..............
Robert, though alive, is badly scared on his torso and face. Secretly, he orginizes and expedition to back to the island. He plans to extract revenge on the raptor that scared him (nicknamed Alpha) and discover what is killing off all the troops. (codename Omega) Comming with them is an adventuras group of people, some looking for adventure.....others looking for profit......others for knowledge........
One thing that unites them though, is the fact that they will be traveling into the last unexplored territory on earth, and that most of them won't make it out alive........

RULES
We need a minimum of 8 people to play, a max of ten. Please provide a good backstory for your character. Why would they be comming on this expidition? What are they good at? Do they have a job? What is their age?
Inventory.
Each character will be bringing their own tools. Whether it be tents, first aid kits, guns, what have you. You may bring ANYTHING! Please be reasonable. You wouldn't want to bring a gamecube or a hello kitty doll on this expidition. Please remember to pack as much as you can carry. You can't pack 5 tents, 3 bazookas, 20 first aid kits, etc.
Guns:
You may bring any gun you wish. However, you max out at 4 guns. You can only carry 1 bazooka with 5 shells. If you do bring a bazooka, you can only carry 5 other items. Choose wisely! Please remember rounds. Over the course of the story, you will encounter lots of hazards, and if at every one you post "Bob shot his gun at the Rex", you WILL run out of bullets. Remember, USE YOU AMUNITION WISELY! You may carry 8 gernades ans 3 poisen something-or-anothers. (Darts, serums, etc)
Gameplay........
This game is similar to Roost Fighter. You may have characters other than your own interact with each and perfrom actions in your posts. However, YOU CANNOT KILL OTHER CHARACTERS, MAKE THEM PERFROM ACTIONS THAT IS OUT OF THEIR CHARACTER, OR PUT THEM IN A SITUATION THAT THEY CANNOT GET OUT OF. Also, this IS an expidition, so the players will stay in the group. That means NO SPLTTING UP.
Dino encounters........
Here comes the good part........I will be in charge of Dino encounters. "Wait!" you say. "That isn't fair! Why do YOU get to be in charge of that?"
Well, like real animals, Dino attacks are completly unpredictable. One post you guys might be walking through the forest.......the next a pack or Raptors will surround your group! What will you do? Dino attacks are different in that you can only post actions for YOUR charcter until another players says other wise. for example......
If my player is Bob, I cannot say during a dino attack....
"Bob grabbed John and handed him the bazooka to shoot the rex with."
However, if John had posted before me, saying.
"John ducked behind a large rock"
I CAN say.
"Bob jumped behind the rock with John and handed him a large gernade. Throw it far! Bob said. John grinned and threw it as far as he could."
You see? You CANNOT determine a person's actions during a Dino encounter unless they already say what they are doing. If a person fails to post during a dino attack (if their gone for a few days or something) I will post for them.
Dino encounters end when the Dinos are killed, flee, or get what they want (maybe the eggs you stole?"
Deaths.........
They only people who can kill off their characters are the people who created them.
