DVD:When will it be released in the US

Possibly late 2004, though I'm more inclined to say early 2005.

Mike Schlesinger only very recently viewed the film for Sony, and it will probably take a little time for them to strike a deal with Toho. In the mean time Toho will be focusing on Region-2 sales (starting this July), and if the "Godzilla 2000" controversy is anything to go by then it will be several months before Toho will allow Sony to release the film with Japanese audio.

well, i think we may see just what toho's feelings on that really are in the coming months.  if they allow Sony to release Godzilla vs. Hedorah on DVD with the japanese language track before or shortly after their release of the film on R2 DVD, then I expect we could see GMMG on R1 DVD MUCH sooner than anticipated.

The R2 of HEDORAH is released this month, so unless Sony are releasing these amazingly fast there'll still be a gap by several months. Late 2004/early 2005 is still my guess for a US release of GMMG, but then again, who really knows?
