Shezilla - Pretty In Pink!

Whenever there's an awards show - the Oscars, the Emmys, the Golden Globes, etc, I always watch the Red Carpet prelude to see what people are wearing. Lately I've noticed most "formal" fashion is just trashy in my opinion. There's no glamour anymore.

Last night I was watching the Golden Globes and said to myself, "I bet I could design a gown that makes Shezilla look better than half the women on the Red Carpet." So I decided to mock so-called "high fashion" and dress Shezilla up for the Red Carpet. She's such a girly girl, she'd love to do something like this. And you know what? She makes this pink ballgown look GOOD.

(Godzilla refused to wear a tuxedo to appear with his mate, so he's sitting in a corner all jealous that I didn't draw him this time around :P. Oh, and if you're wondering how Shezilla walks in that dress.....she just walks very slowly so that her toe claws don't rip up the hem.)

Oni: A bathing suit wouldn't be very flattering. This dress makes her look pretty while mocking fashion, but a bathing suit would be kind of ridiculous.

She'd be so cute :) Godzilla is still sort of bigoted towards humans and he'd have trouble seeing others adopt their customs like clothing and jewelry. He tolerates humans and that's about it.

In all honesty he probably wouldn't even like seeing Shezilla in a dress, but he'd let her go for it because it makes her happy. That's what love sometimes means - compromise.

Tell me this, Oni - if your only experiences with a different race were bad, would you like them? Would you have a bias against them? Probably. I know I would.

The humans took his father away and turned him into something half living and half machine. The humans always tried to kill him. The humans lured him into a volcano. That is not something he's just going to "get over"! Godzilla had no idea that humans even had feelings until he and Shezilla met Kenpachiro in Ties in the Family. He saw them as they saw him - beings in the way of what he wanted.

He's more "indifferent" to humans now, but he still doesn't LIKE them. And honestly if you walked up to him with the attitude you just showed here, and Shezilla wasn't there to curb his behavior, he would not hesitate to squash you ;)

I see, until he saw into my dark mind. He'd see my subconcious anger and rage there from being bullied and so forth. I've held in that anger since.

Then he'd think you're a hypocrite to say he can't be angry and then turn around with the same anger yourself. Well, technically he wouldn't know what 'hypocrite' means, but he'd know you just told him he can't do something and then did it yourself, and that would piss him off.

Well I vent in my art when I get mad I draw scary stuff. Some of my art would scare him. A Freddy version of him with charred skin. :devil: I'll post that pic tomorrow.

Though seeing him in a red and green sweater with that fake Micheal Jackson glove with butter knives would be funny.

I can see him makingsmartass rmarks to Freddy if they met.

I just saw a tv ad showing golf. As comedian Robin Williams says on golf : "The only sport where you can dress like a pimp and no one will care." :laugh:

That would be funny to see Godzilla dressed like that. Another funny spoof for him would be to spoof the president.
