Indiana Jones vs. Rick O'Connel

The archeologist vs. The Treasure hunter, O'Connel is Brenden Fraziers character from "The Mummy" a clear nod/ripoff to/from Jones. IF the two are both after the same artifact and come to a fight who wins. Jones has hand gun/whip O'Connel has he arsenal bag, hand guns, shot gun, various knives.

HOw is this a fight? Yeah, Indy pulls off some impressive combat stunts, but I'm assuming their "franchise hero" fields sorta cancel each other out for this.

How far away from each other are they to start?

If it's a sizable difference, then O'Connell's firepower will be enough to get the "W". He'll either take him down with a bullet or four, or else just hold him off long enough to grab the artifact and abscond. Tough as Indy is, he doesn't exactly favor gunplay. If they start close, I'd say Indy could take Rick O hand to hand. He's Gamera-tough - witness his fights with the Thuggee henchman.

Then again, O'Connell did fight the undead.

Ah, I still stick with Indy.

If they start off close enough, the bag could actually be a hindrance to O'Connell. Say he's in whip range - you think Indy'll let him reach into the bag for a weapon? Remember, the bag isn't really a bag, it's all the guns mounted into the fabric and kinda rolled up like a sleeping bag. Not exactly the best for a quick-draw.
