Wii specific attacks...just hope that aspect doesn't get too gimmicky. It sounds like the game is building on concepts from the first movie's tie-in game, I just hope this one was a little better. I secretly hoped that the Silver Surfer would be playable, but I think it would be for the best if he isn't. The F4: ROSS game is described as a brawler, and Surfer is not suited for that genre. Look at Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. While he was far from being a useless character, his moveset didn't do much to capture the essence and feel of the character.

Yeah it's been tough to adequately capture the Surfer in a video game. I mean it's the same thing with Superman and his video games. It's hard to bring that essence and feel from the comics to a video game. Specially when said characters are nearly god-like to begin with.

Actually, I think the Surfer could have a pretty kickass game as long as the the setting was rooted in Cosmic settings and such. Normal Marvel foes may not be able to stand against the Surfer, but I think some Cosmic entities could make a great cast of bosses and supporting characters. If you're stuck trying to make a game for a Godlike character, the only solution is to throw some Godlike enemies at them.
