Ok... just downloaded MUGEN and everywhere I look most of the characters I want can't be found, are "dead" or are buggy when I play with them. If anyone would be so kind as to help me find non buggy links to the characters I want below please do so... I'd greatly appreciate their help.

Oh... and Master Burk... IF you need help with getting the characters in MUGEN... I'm happy to help... I thought it was extremely difficult to figure it out and has made me delete the MUGEN application far too many times last year... I FINALLY got how to do it this year... and I enjoy my small number of characters... that's why I'm trying to find more characters... but alas... finding characters for MUGEN is not easy... especially the "rare" ones... like Ash Williams from Evil Dead...

Dangit. Does anybody know how to edit a Mugen Character's AI? I got a GREAT Hulk Character, but He's way to Cheap. He Juggles like Crazy, pulls out Supers every 2 seconds, and dashes around the screen like a madman. Could anybody help?

Go to Youtube, and search "Mugen How to". They have tons of Videos there that'll help you.

Zweifuss.com has all the Street Fighter 3 characters...or at least, a bunch of them. Doesn't have Blanka, and he's really the only Street Fighter character I like at all. I have downloaded a few and used photoshop and MAGIX to make some animations.

If anybody can point me to some decent kaiju sprite sets, I'd apreciate it. I want to animate them too.

Does it have just a blank space for where Fei-Long should be on your character select screen? I had the same problem with a lot of characters I was downloading until I read that if you have a folder inside the main character folder, it won't read it. Like if you extract it to a new folder and you end up with this:

>>(def file, ACT file, etc)


move all the files in the second folder to the main one and just delete the now empty folder, otherwise it won't read it. It's a simple problem, but it was frustrating since I had no idea why characters weren't showing up. A few I've found don't work even after doing that, so I'm not sure what to do in that case.

It has the design of Super Street Fighter II, but with new moves and sounds. The background music for stages doesn't seem to work when I play as him or against him though.

were still experimenting with Backround Music. I havent quite figured all of that out yet.

Now, to answer your question Mr. GMK Goji, first I need to know how you put the songs into your MUGEN patch, then I should be able to help you. Now for your other question... I only have 3 stages... The Guile Stage from SF2 (which the one in my possesion is a variation of) contains it's original music... My Cammy stage (also form SF2) contains the "Super Double Dragon" introa nd last but not least, I have my FF2 HongKong stage, in which I put in Blanka's level's theme in.

^ Those sprites look pretty nice! If you can you should make whole sprite sets for those character edits! They look pretty cool, especially parasite, and they all have potential to become great looking characters.

On a side note, thanks for all the help so far guys! I really want three characters at the moment right now, and I would greatly appreciate anyone finding them for me!

I know how to do pretty much everything except add music. I can add characters, stages, and I know how to specify a stage for a character, but I can't get the music to work. I keep adding music like all the FAQs tell you to, but it still don't work.

In the DEF file for your stage, go to the music part and- well here's an example taken from one of mine. It should look like this when you add a song in:

For volume 0 is normal, but I just put this higher. As long as the song you want to use is in your sound folder (so it knows where to take it from) and that you put in the "sound/"- that part was left out of the tutorial I was using and I didn't find out about it until watching a youtube video that included it. Also the title has to be copied exactly as it's named just like how for characters to work it has to be the same title. Getting the music to loop is the one thing I haven't figured out though, so most of my songs are at least 2 and a half minutes or more.
