Probably, but I was thinking of the song by System Of A Down at the time. It could also be interpreted as you & EM being toxic to the 'real' humans in the tournament.

Essentially. SpaceGamera went solo in RF1 and still beat the **** out of some decent characters (IIRC), so having you and EM on a team together is overkill by those standards. :P

1) 3 on 3 battles - team against team
2) 1 on 1 battles - but you'll never fight anyone on the same team as you

The first one would probably quicken the pace, but I also think 1 on 1 matches would be interesting in their own right. However, I have a list of who would fight who, whether in 3-on-3 or 1-on-1. So it doesn't really make a difference to me.

I'd prefer a mixture of random matches. Mostly three-on-three's, with special one-on-ones and two-on-twos randomly thrown in there. The 1-on-1's should be reserved for 'epic' battles though, IMO.

Well, aside from the rules I have for my project, a good compromise would be a team match set in rounds. A whole lot of places do this, although I can't think of too many at the moment. MAR comes to mind pretty quick, but that's it. Anyway, that would make the fights more epic(being 1-on-1), and the team would have to pick who would fight first, second, and third(as the case may be). That tactical aspect might make things more interesting for everybody.

Straight 1v1. And the more teammates that make it to the end of the tournament, the bigger the cash reward (...or something like that; I'm trying to work out the finer details).
