Hey there folks,
I'm looking for a place to buy vynl or plastic so as to make my own cutom figures. The best of all possible worlds would be the same type of soft plastic used in Bandai figures, but really any plastic will do. I would like to avoid using polyurathane or anything that needs sanding or shaping with power tools beyond a simple hobby dremel. It would bre great if whatever it was could be casted and have the excess trimmed off with an exacto. I've got the mold making junk, just need the plastic/vynl to actually cast the figures.
Ideally, it would be something that would not involve the use of heat (no need to melt it down first) although if that's what it takes then no problem.
What figures would I make? Things of my own creation, as well as some properties that have never had action figures before (various videogame kaiju, amazing colossal man, stuff like that.)
