Awright.

All manner of people have come and gone.

And now... an odd number remains.

Three teams, each having a single member.

To expedite things...

Yup.

Three-way free for all.

There can be only one.

GodofPH's Juggernaut (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juggernaut_%28comics%29) (Hero version- aye. The BIG nerfing.

versus

Neo-Crucifer's Sub-Zero (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sub-Zero_%28Mortal_Kombat%29) (absolutely nerf-free)

versus

SpacehunterM's Luke Skywalker (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luke_Skywalker) (Post Return of the Jedi, but pre-any and all novels)

Battlefield is... eh. Berlin.

Votes-

Juggernaut- 5 or 6... BIG margin.
Sub-Zero- 1
Luke Skywalker- 1

All right, first, I don't see Sub being able to do his ice thing with Juggernaut, because even in his Nerfed heroic form, he was able to fight off an evil Iceman just fine without being frozen himself. Now, judging how fast I've seen Sub launch his ice attacks in various MK videos I've seen, it may give Luke some trouble. Now, I'm not going to forget a Jedi's reflexes/dodging skills, but I'm not sure that he could keep dodging all of the freezing ice that the blue ninja can throw at him. Before we start on The Force, has Sub not dealt with telekinesis wielders before? Either way, I see one of these two killing each other, and not just an easy kill either. At which point, I see Juggs stepping up, possibly minorly injured himself, to bust up whoever is still standing.

Winner: Juggernaut

Lightsaber can basically cut through Juggs right? I see no reason it can't.
Sub-Zero, nice choice, I can see his ice attacks making it tought for Luke.

But Sub-Zero also died. A well placed Saber-Throw could end this guy.

Winner: Luke Skywalker.

Yes, Sub-Zero has fought telekinetics before.

Kenshi and Ermac spring to mind.

Oh, I'm not saying the first saber-throw will do it.
I'm just saying that Sub-Zero has a Saber Thrown to the head to look forwards to.

I was responding to GodofpH.

I was just too lazy to quote the line directly.

I see Luke going after Juggs and slicing him in half. Because, even being the juggernaut he is, Juggernaut's skin and bones are not strong enough to keep a sword made of light energy (Or whatever the hell it is classified as) from slicing through him. And then I see Luke verses Sub-Zero. Luke has to kill Sub-Zero before Sub-Zero can freeze him. I think that Sub-Zero is quick and agile enough to dodge the lightsaber, durable enough to handle any force pushes and pulles or whatever these Jedi have nowadays, and then freeze Luke. Then all he has to do is just lightly tap Luke and watch as he falls and shatters into a million icey cold peices.
Winner: Sub-Zero (Subject to change)

Cole, you say "before any of the novels" with Luke. Does that mean this is Luke as he appears in those old Dark Horse comics?

If so, and it's not the Vong-crushing Luke, I'm almost convinced that Juggs has this. Even as a hero he's a beast, the guy was able to go toe-to-toe with War Hulk for some time.

Though he definitely can't survive the lightsaber... I'm still debating with myself though.

I'm sorry.

Was my post unclear?

Hazy?

Luke as he was at the end of Jedi.

That's it.

I'm sorry.

Luke as he was at the end of Jedi.

That's it.

Then he is very dead here. He is too inexperienced. And the only reason he beat Vader was because Vader was holding back most of his power.

Winner: Juggernaugt.

Luke as he was at the end of Jedi.

That's it.OUCH.

Jugs and Sub-Zero definitely take him down. And despite Jug's killability, he *did* survive a an evil, unrestrained uber-Ice Man. Which, from what I know of Sub-Zero, clearly means Juggernaut can definitely pull through, even nerfed.

Winner: Juggernaut

Finally, a clear cut winner.

Winner: Juggernaut

It's given that Juggs can beat Subzero, and either or together could take down Luke. Which would happen.

I'd rather debate fully powered Luke vs Fully powered Juggs... oh well

Winner: Juggernaut.........damnit!

That actually sounds like a good fight/debate, might have to take that up in the regular FBZ...

Meh, I still say Luke gets lucky and kills Juggs...and the Sub-Zero wins...He does have a sword...that could help...

And we have a winner....
NOTHING CAN STOP THE JUGGERNAUT!

I'm a little annoyed at the lack of love Sub-Zero got (people need to look past his ice powers and focus on his ability to rip a human body apart with his bare hands) but what the hell.

Tournament's over ladies and gents, thanks for playing.
