Kaiju Cast of GMM: Tokyo SOS

Well, according to J.D. Lees the cast that so far has been confirmed are Godzilla, MeachaGodzilla, an Adult Mothra, and 2 Mothra Larvas.......

At first i questioned this film, but with the inclusion of 2 larvas......well that just spices up the film.


Still i would like to see Angilas or Varan show up, but if their are 2 larvas.....then their chances of showing up are zero to none.

Be neat if one of the larva turned into Gigamoth.  Probably just gonna be a remake of the end of Godzilla VS the Thing though.

i do agree to some extent that Mothra should be let alone for a while, but I think the complaining should end.  Let's look at the positive aspects of the upcoming film, rather than searching for its possible flaws.

Well, the idea of remaking Godzilla vs. Mothra as a remake for the 49th/50th is kinda cool. But I still say that if they were smart they'd also have Anguirus, the first Kaiju Godzilla ever fought. And Larvaes are pretty cool. I can still think of one way to put Anguirus in:


In the beginning of the movie, they can give that "History of Godzilla" thing as a prolog (kinda like in GXM), but add GRA (Godzilla Raids Again) as the new Canon!

It makes perfect sense if Angilas was the fourth kaiju. We need ta' see the king fight more quadrapeds!! But, maybe those two larvaes can henshin into imago form. 3 adult mothras vs one godzilla up against mechagodzilla! that'd be quite a battle for our hero.

Well, for the past few films of Mothra's, we haven't seen the larva and adult in the same fight, so it should be interesting if all five kaiju fight each other. I thought it was just going to be G, MG, and the adult Mothra, but now that two larvae are going to be included, that gives this film a plus.

The inclusion of the Mothra Larvae definitely warrants this film a plus. It would be interesting to see al five duke it out at the same time. and please, for God's sake, make Godzilla actually defeat that damn moth for once!

<font color='#000080'>There is some news circulating about a 4th kaiju in the mix, one that is not a mothra larva. &nbsp;Perhaps Gaira, Angurius, or even Gigan have a chance. &nbsp;And as for the 2 larvas in the upcoming film, I think it is too much Mothra for one film. &nbsp;Now it would be better if one of the larva was radiated by Godzilla and transformed into Gigamoth or Battra. &nbsp;I just hope that Godzilla isn't teaming up with the larva and momma to fight his cybornetic clone. &nbsp;I want them to be midnight snacks for the King. &nbsp;Overall, I am excited that there is a new movie coming out, a bit dubious on how it is going to turn out.

I would prefer a take on Showa Mothra or Heisie Mothra. &nbsp;At least Mothra Leo had long legs to fight with. &nbsp;Rainbow Mothra had little scrony legs. Eternal Mothra would be......interesting.

I think if they do they should be back to identical benevolent entities who dress like real natives and Not look and dress like barbies...

well, the connection is this:

in the movie, it is said that after godzilla's initial attack, the JSDF developed maser weapons and used them against other monsters that attacked Japan (Mothra and Gaira), but when Godzilla returned, they were not effective so they built Kiryu (mechagodzilla).

It was to show their effectiveness, but with the recent &quot;announcement&quot; of GMM, it is appearant that they were also placed in the film as a foreshadow of their appearences in future sequels.

You do know we are talking about GXMG and not GXMXMG Tokyo SOS right? Many people have already seen GXMG and stated that there was footage of WOTG and Mothra in the film

Well, Tokyo is in the title so obviously the final battle, or a good chunk of the plot, will be occurring there. &nbsp;Mothra and two larvae-somehow I have a feeling they'll go back to the GMK Mothra for this &nbsp;http://www.rodansroost.com/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/dozingoff.gif At least we get to see that cool MG again. &nbsp;They're supposed to explain in more depth why they chose to use the dna computer for MG, so I'm expecting him to go beserk. &nbsp;The good thing about Mothra turning up though is that the showa mothra wasn't friendly with the civilized world until GvsM, so we might be able to expect her to be somewhat violent, at least in the beginning.

Here's my guess on what's going to happen. &nbsp;MG is fully repaired after the last battle. &nbsp;Somehow or another, Mothra's egg ends up somewhere it shouldn't. &nbsp;Either G or MG attack it and end up fighting the adult Mothra. &nbsp;The adult Mothra is killed, but the larvae escape. &nbsp;G and MG get a rematch somewhere in the movie. &nbsp;MG goes beserk. &nbsp;Godzilla, Mecha Godzilla, and the two adult Mothra end up dueking it out in Tokyo.

If we get a fourth kaiju, it will probably either be a new Gargantua, not Sanda or Gaira, or a mutated Mothra (like Battra and Gigamoth, only a new creature). &nbsp;Now that I've said all that, I have higher hopes for this movie.

It seems they may have scrapped one of the Mothra larva for a surprise kaiju. &nbsp;No anguiras, or titanosaurus. &nbsp;i heard gorosaurus or gaira be mentioned and one reliable soruce said it COULD be varan.

well, at least on MZ, its been pretty much accepted that Godzilla, MechaGodzilla, the Adult Mothra, and two larvae are to make their appearances in GMM. &nbsp;No other monsters have even been seriously considered as to our knowledge.

Personally, I highly doubt any other monsters will appear in GMM. &nbsp;In the next movie, I'm either betting MechaG will turn into the '54 Godzilla, or Godzilla will fight Gamera. &nbsp;These are the two most likely scenarios based on what reliable sources have leaked. &nbsp;And, in my opinion, both are more than worthy of the 50th film. &nbsp;So I am happy. &nbsp; http://www.rodansroost.com/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif

There was the Showa Moguera, though no hope seeing him again in this series, the Yog Trio (who will most likely be the ones), Giant Sea Snake from KKE, and that's about it. They can't use the LZ kaiju, cause they're copyrighted.

You guys are forgeting one monster Toho did but never fought Godzilla or even was in a Godzilla movie and that is MOTHRA LEO!

MG is rebuilt, Godzilla is found in the ocean, and a huge typhoon hits Infant Island. The Typhoon makes a huge egg fall into the water, and wash a shore on Japan. Soon two faires come with Mothra. Godzilla comes ashore to attack the egg while Mothra is there and soon the ppl tat made MG send MG there. Theres a huge brawl, and MG goes burserk. Godzilla kills Mothra in the battle, and soon G blows a chunl out of MG. After Godzilla leaves, the egg hatches, and two larva come out. Later on their native island, Godzilla comes, and kills one of the larva. Godzilla injurs the other and returns to the sea.

The last larva makes a cocoon and in the mean time, MG is repaired AGAIN. Godzilla soon comes to Tokyo and MG is sent out. The 2 fight and then, back on Infat Island, Mothra Leo hatches. &nbsp;

In the mean time, Godzilla has MG knocked down and MG goes berserk. MG and G fight more, and then Mothra Leo comes. ML fires her beams at both and MG is sent flying back. Godzilla soon fires an atomic ray, buring some of Mothra Leo's fur off. Mothra Leo flys behind G, and digs her claws into G's head. Godzilla does a nuclear pulse (I want that weapon back), and that makes Leo fly back into Tokyo Tower.

MG gets up and fires his rockets, all the missiles explode on Godzilla and Leo, engulfing the area in flames, Mothra Leo emerges from the flames, &nbsp;covered in fire, Godzilla also gets up, and charges up a spiral ray (another beam I want back), Mothra Leo blows up, and sends blood flying. MG looks on at Godzilla, and soon G fires a ray at MG's head, blowing it off!

MechaGodzilla falls to the ground with no head, and soon gets up as his head starts to regenerate, into a Godzilla style head!

Soon all the armor flys off MG, showing a 100% Godzilla Clone!

True, the concept designs of Gigamoth pale in comparison to what we got with Battra, but there's not telling what could be done with him if he were given a chance. &nbsp;To me, Gigamoth's appeal is that he is a foe that was tough enough to take Goji down, temporarily at least, but didn't go overboard Leo style on the powers. &nbsp;In a way he's a physical kaiju, but he has a few special powers to back him up. &nbsp;Also, he has the potential to be a completely wicked foe. &nbsp;Battra was violent, true, but he was far from wicked. &nbsp;Well, that's my guess on Gigamoth's popularity. &nbsp;Oh, and before someone says it, I know that Gigamoth was supposed to be a she, but for some odd reason I've gotten in a habit of referring to the bad bug as a he. &nbsp;So just humor me if you would.

I think if there will be a fourth monster to appear in the sequel, it should be gaira. Since, it seems that they didn't kill kim in the flashback but just drove him away. But I think that a cool idea would be having Mecha G turn into the original 1954 Godzilla. It is possible since Mecha G has the Original G's DNA in him. Plus it would be cool to have the Newest version of Godzilla to battle the Original Godzilla. Which is more powerful? Which is cooler?
