The customer's computer was messed up and the Best Buy customer service said that they were ordering parts and shipping the computer...when in fact they had no idea where it was.
The funniest part about this is when the customer was asked why the lawsuit was so excessive, she actually said..."It's not so much about the money..."
AHAHAHAHAHAH!!
Sure it isn't. $54 Million for a computer is about...what exactly?

Oh, noes! We need to sue the local newspaper for not reporting on the missing Memphis Lifeblood computers! :dozing:
Not sure how they do it in DC but aren't those type lawsuits limited to actual DAMAGES, i.e. the cost of the computer plus any charges/use of what she might have had on it?

According to the woman, she was at risk of identity theft, which is by far her best argument since she claims she had tax returns stored on the computer.
But I still say its trash. She could care less if she gets her money.

The identity theft is a really good reason. She could really be screwed over by that.

That's exactly what it is.
But it's pathetic that is has to come to this, and she's a liar to say it's not about money.
