<font color='#0000FF'>Who is your favorite video game villians? &nbsp; My favorites happen to be Sephiroth from Final Fantasy Seven and Snake Man from Megaman three or four (it's been so long since i played it i have forgotten).

<font color='#FF7F00'>Snake Man is MM3.

I think Magus from Chrono Trigger and Sarevok from Baldur's Gate are cool. You can actually get Magus in your party, and he rocks (especially with DarkMatter. Hooyah!http://www.kaijuphile.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif. Sarevok doesn't take crap from anyone, and is powerful enough to get what he wants (he can kill people in a few hits, but he's no match for my army of fifty or so summoned creatures). You can get Sarevok in your party in the Throne of Bhaal expansion for BG2, but I haven't gotten that far yet, so I have no clue what he's exactly capable of doing for my group.

Hmm, favorite video game villans.

Well, Gannondorf, from the Legend of Zelda series is an interesting villan. He is most interesting in Ocarina of Time and the Wind Waker games.

Kefka from Final Fantasy 3/6 is quite the dispecable villan. this powr mad villan userps the powers of 3 long sleeping godesses and unravals the very fabric of the world in his mad bid for power.

Lavos from Chrono Trigger is also quite the villan, though he is more of a mindless, destructive monster without any true human face to equate his evil with. His apperance is fearsome though, a gigantic, parasitic life form that came to earth hitch hiking on the asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs, and burroughed deep into the earth to gather energy for millenia. Then one day he errupted from the core of the earth on an infamous day known only as the &quot;Day of Lavos&quot; and rained fiery death upon the world, leaving the world a desolet, barren wasteland, leaving humans to slowly starve and waste away. fortunatly Lavos's very presense somehow punches holes in time, causing heros from the past to learn of the Day of Lavos, and eventually gather enough strength to stop him and prevent the day of Lavos from happening.

Lastly Ridley from the Metroid series, especially Meta-Ridley from Metroid Prime, is quite the interesting villan. Commander of the Space Pirates, Ridley is a destructive, fire breathing dragon like monster with a deadly lashing tail tipped with a deadly spike. Ridley also has a personal relationship with Samus, the hero from the Metroid series, as it was Ridley who lead the raid on Samus's coloney where Samus lived, leading to the death of her parents.

That's about all I can think of for now.

<font color='#0000FF'>Bowser Koopa- Mario Brothers- One of the first, one of the best. http://www.kaijuphile.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

Quickman- Megaman II- Unless you know the trick, he's one nasty hombre.

Arcturus Mengsk- Starcraft- Sneaky bugger.

Prince Arthas- Warcraft III- One of the first video game characters to do the Darth Vader thing correctly...

Diablo- Diablo II- The Lord of Terror is a horribly scary adversary, and beating him is a wonderful feeling.

The Butcher- Diablo I- The first boss, and invariably one of the harder ones to beat at the power level you reach him with.

Gannon/Gannondorf from the Legend of Zelda series. M.Bison from the Street Fighter games.

Kain from the Blood Omen series. The guy is such a badass..you feel for him at the same time you fear him. He's a creation of someone else, and he knows this, but enjoys his release from humanity and his ability to prey upon them. he's an anti-hero, sort of a Vegeta-like character. But he's so cool!

Let's put a good word in for Golgo 13 as well. He's not really a hero, but a cold blooded killer for hire who works for the highest bidder, and sometimes that puts him on the opposite side of the fence. Anyone who has seen the anime' series knows how heartless and efficient this guy really is.

wait, he's made up of the darkness in everybody? dang them, that was my idea!

my favorite villains,

Ridley: you gotta love a fire breathing pterodctyl

Metal Sonic: specifically from Sonic CD. man it was fun to race that guy.

Chaos: probably my favorite character from any video game. whatever shape he took, it always represented true awesomeness.

Bowser- particularly when he doesn't have a voice actor doing more than roaring.

Ganon(dorf)- LttP and OoT incarnations won me over here.

Ridley- In addition to what has been mentioned, he just won't die! He gets blown up, converted into a cyborg, falls hundreds of feet without wings, doesn't even need the life support anymore, gets killed and his remains are left on a planet that is destroyed a short time later...and in the upcoming Prime 3, he survivies a 20,000 meter fall. Just what does it take?

Dr. Robotnik- Goofy? Yes. But I'll take him over the endless parade of demons and gargantuan freaks and whatnot that Sonic and Co seem to be taking on lately.

Meta Knight- the closest thing to a badass character the Kirby series has.

Doc Man- Capable of mimicking all of the Mega Man 2 Robot Masters, except he's larger (and body-to-body damage is notoriously high in early Mega Man games), has more difficult patterns, and the Master Weapons of MM3 aren't nearly as well-suited to fighting the MM2 Robot Masters.

MirrenDono

Bowser- Any villian that can work as a bad guy or a good guy is awesome

Ganon- The only incarnation that had a great character was the Wind Waker's, but Ganon's just awesome, whether he's in 3D or 2D. And let me tell you, don't let the 2D fool ya; he's a bad*** in A Link to the Past and the Oracles.

Liquid Snake- Yeah, he didn't have the best voice acting, and yeah, he wasn't a ground breaking enemy, but the guy survived his Hind being shot down, Metal Gear Rex being wrecked, and falling clear off Metal Gear Rex.

Cecil- This is the main villain from Winback: Covert Operations, for N64 and PS2. Like Liquid, he didn't have a phenominal character, but the guy killed pretty much the four coolest characters in the game. SPOILER (Matt, Law, Jake, and Dan...well, he kinda killed Dan)

Dracula (Castlevania)- He just keeps coming back game after game, and man does he have a lot of cool final forms.

Akuma and Bison from the Street Fighter series. Man, they are AWSOME!
They have CRAZY moves that can take away half you health sometimes. Fighting them can be really frustrating, also. I've lost many a controller due to me being so frustrated that I threw it against the wall!

That doesn't make me like them any less, though.:)

Necroposting. Oh well.

Bowser - he used to kick my *** in SMW before I could beat him. Always when his clown copter did the bouncing. I'd lose like three lives before I could knock him out.

Andross - That brain at the end of Star Fox 64 is DISGUSTING! But my favorite trick to beating it is to let it chase me, then slow down and turn and shoot it in the *** before it teleports away. Gotta be careful though since sometimes I'd get caught in its nasty tentacles.

Natla - That ***** seemed to be everywhere and sometimes Lara wouldn't auto-aim at her.

Does anyone remember the Crash Bandicoot villians?!

Ripper Roo was always hard for me to beat. Him and his exploding TNTs.

Dingodile and N.Trophy from Crash 3 were prettty cool, though they were really easy to beat.

I started playing Final Fantasy 6 a few weeks ago and now I'm more than half way through the game. That being said, I have to say this:

Kefka is pretty BA.

Dr. Strangelove

Jack of Blades - Best baddy *ever*. He was actually *cruel*. Burnt down your house and village, cut out your sisters eyes...later in the game, he kills your mother in front of you...Bad-*** all around. And that voice...

I'd better toss in these guys:

Lord Raptor: gotta love an australian heavy metal zombie. (actually, with Darkstalkers, its kinda hard to tell which characters are considered villains.)

Reala: just plain, undeniably cool, but my favorite villain from NiGHTS wold have to be

Jackle: who flys backwards and shoots playing cards at you, laughing maniacally at you. Just plain a cool, insane villain, who's goofy evil nature makes me laugh each time.

Favorite villains? Hmm.

Sephiroth. Burns down a village. Kills a main character. Possesses minds. And is generally just an ***.

Kefka. Sure he is inept as all hell and is not that bright. But he is funny... And he DOES take down the world just because he can. And his theme is even better than Sephiroth's.

Who can hate Sephiroth? (Besides Cole that is)

Me! ...Though really, it's his fans that piss me off more than anything. xp

Steve's #1 favourite video game villain of all time is Bowser, all the way. In addition to just looking really freaking cool, he's pretty amiable as far as villains go, and funny too. He's particularly cool in the Paper Mario games.

Beyond that, in no particular order, other favourite VG villains/antagonists/bosses of mine are...

King K. Rool: No idea why, he's just awesome. But hey, what isn't there to like about a fat, megalomaniacal, anthropomorphic alligator with a ton of alter egos? xp

Majora: What can I say? Its final form with the twin bullwhip tentacles is *****in'.

Francis: The third boss from Super Paper Mario. He's HI-TECHNICAAAAAAL!

I'll add more later, I guess.

Zigra

Me!

And me, too. If for no other reason than him looking lame. Seriously, what is so cool looking about a Fabio-lookalike with angel wings? Not only that, but Sephiroth seems to be the villain that set the standard for "g*y looking, long haired pretty boy who transforms into a Christian religous symbol at the height of his power" cliche' for anime villains, which I can't stand.
