What, no Super Bowl thread?
At least it was a good game.
But that was totally a incomplete pass at the end.

Cardinals would have had it if their defense could actually stop the ball when it matters and not give up 35 yards in penalties in one possession.

I didn't get to see most of the game. My friend and I were driving to Los Angeles, so we could only hear about it from our friends. Got to the hotel in time to catch the 4th quarter.
And an exciting 4th quarter it was. I was rooting for Arizona, but damn! Pittsburgh sure proved themselves in the last few minutes. They earned this championship (unlike the game a few years ago...;)). Close one for Arizona. They played well. Not a bad game by any means. Though I don't think this Super Bowl was better than last year's.

What? Santonio Holmes TD catch? Are you high again Gor?:p That catch was perfect. Both feet were down and he had total control of the ball. It was a great catch.
Not that I care. I hate the Steelers and I can't root for the Cardinals since they are in the same division as my Seahawks. In any case, good job Pittsbugh. 6 Super Bowl Titles.

No, not THAT one. That was a catch. I'm talking about that "fumble" at the end of the game.

Ohhh. That. Actually, from what I could tell he lost control of the ball before his arm went forward. It got knocked out of his hand. Not that it would have mattered much anyway.

No, his arms was coming fowad with the ball. Not much, bu there was foward motion.
And I agree, Pitt would have still won the game, but that play HAD to be reviewed, even if they agreed with the call on the field.

I'm sorry, but as a Raiders fan whose team got robbed (a few years back, when they were, you know, GOOD) on the same kind of call... I'm glad they've been consistent about it.

It's OK, I should be a Texans fan or, as I like to call it around these parts, a Sunday afternoon alcoholic.

Eh, I'm a Chiefs fan, though I do like the Steelers.
For several years, they've been my third favorite, right after the Chiefs and Packers. When I deign to care.

Eh. The Texans have had a good last couple of years. If it wasn't for that bad start and Shaub getting hurt for a few games they would have been a playoff team IMO.
