<font color='#348781'>I for one do not like it. in fact i believe there was a thread in here that i started about it. unless you have a GBA, a GC-GBA link cable, and up to three friends to play it with, it can get really boring extremly fast.

<font color='#348781'>it's because it was meant to be a multi-plyer game, pretty much. the single player mode is horrible. and the only way to raise your charecters stats are to collect artifact's and complete the dungeon. this type of gameplay can get repetitive.

Ah i finally got it, and all i can say is that i love it like any other system, my first game was Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee and i love that game as well.
I also rented a game, Resident Evil 0, ah so beautiful. Im going to get the Resident Evil remake soon.
Anyways, i got mt system new, meaning i got it for around 100 bucks and along with 12 free rentals to GC Games at a store called Gamecrazy, pretty good deal if you ask me. They ran out of 12 free rental coupons though, they are gonna get some in maybe tommorow or sooner, cant wait.

<font color='#348781'>Try Super Smash Bros. Melee. It is a pretty fan party game. And it's addictive in one player.
That and Metroid Prime. Try those two.

I don't bother with the GCN too much. Just every once awhile when a game I like comes out, which hasn't happened for awhile. PS2 is truly the superior system.

<font color='#000080'>What a brazenly beautiful sign of immaturity.
Anyway, the Gamecube is okay. I've noticed that it's a much more family oriented system than the PS2 or Xbox, simply because there are almost no M-rated titles and most of the games are rather cartoony. It's a good system though, the easiest to hookup to an onboard powersource and small TV for long car trips.

<font color='#348781'>I recently aquired a copy of Serious Sam: Next Encounter, for the gamecube. I was wondering how many people on the roost have played this (or any Serious Sam) game and if you all enjoyed it or not.
I think it is a good game, it's not like other first person shooters I have played, the levels aren't as mission based, (like James Bond). The most mission like thing I have seen is, going to retrive some items to open a Door. It is a straight run and kill type of game, and I kinda like that.

I thought I'd make this thread that way people who are having problems with their gaming system, be it technical or not, could discuss it here and hopefully seek solutions.
My problem is that sometimes I hear my gamecube making weird noises. Like the drive is worn out and doesn't want to spin, in fact it locked up on me and wouldn't load then an error message came up. Does anyone else have this problem, it also happened with the original playstation, and I don't doubt that it happens with the PS2. My theory is that the drive or deck (the part that spins the CD) is worn out. What does everyone else think.
And please feel free to post your problems here also.

hey I've had this problem too! Sometimes my Gamecube will either freeze up for no apparent reason and an error message comes up or it makes a rumbling sound and then the disk stops both these things have happened maybe twice for the whole time we've had it I'd say, which isn't bad but its kind of strange. My brother said because we got an early Gamecube our's might have more problems and they probably fixed later ones that got manufactured. That's probably true too I bet.My PS one a couple times has gotten stuck on the sony logo screen and I went to get a drink and came back and it never loaded.lol Technology will be the downfall of us all!

Yes, definitely play it, it's awesome. Besides Resident Evil 4, it's Gamecube's best game of the year. This is on my Christmas list for sure
And where have you seen bad reviews? I've seen nothing but good. Check out Gamespot's list of reviews from other sites, they're all great (and that's a lot of sites)
