Rodan's roost (Kaiju Stat) updates?

While scouring the Stat Section on Rodan's Roost, under Godzilla Junior, it fails to mention Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla II under Apperances.

Also, for Gamera (Showa), the film "Super Monster Gamera" is not mentioned.

Thought someone might like to know.

"Super Monster Gamera' is a film this site does not acknowledge - composed almost completely of stock footage and new scenes of Gamera fighting a blatant Star Destroyer rip-off, this is such a low point that its very existence is considered offensive. It also exists outside the Showa Gamera series, having its own 'continuity', if this excuse to plunder footage from the other films and call it a movie can actually be said to have a continuity!


As for Junior, that is a valid observation, to which all I can say if 'oops'! In my defense, at the time I was still pretty pissed about the KHQ plundering going on and there were a few instances where I was deliberately making ommssions so I could watch that jerk lift the stats, try to claim them as his own and then triumphantly point out that his 'original work' had the same errors that I had deliberately placed in my own. This is possibly one instance of that (another was Space Godzilla's force field, though I believe we've gone back and restored that power in his description).

Lol I do agree with your opinion of Gamera the Super Monster. I would never consider that god awful "thing" to be a movie. I am also glad that you don't recognize it on this site, as it might lead someone to buy it unknowingly, and believe me no one deserves such a fate.

Surely a little late, but...

I noticed another possible error in the stats. With Orga, under his attack abilties, it does not mention his kinetic energy beam

There are plenty of things missing from the stats as well as mistakes. It's something that will be corrected when that section gets a complete overhaul. But that won't be for a while yet as we have other things that we are working on that are a little more pressing at the moment.

Ahh, gotcha. That's not a big problem either, since most Kaiju fans already know most of the stuff that's 'missing', and from I've seen, it's only been little stuff. Better to wait for it to be perfect

I was wondering if there would be any updates coming up for Rodan's Roost in particualr the Kaiju Stats Section. It was one of my favorite parts of the site and it's what got me on board. I would love to see the stats and info on new monsters like Godzilla GFW and etc.

Updates are coming for The Roost and Fan Nest in near-ish future... including a totally revamped Stats section. My life has been jam packed with activity the past year, but things should be settling down soon to the point where I'll actually have time to work on the site properly once more!

I'm not going to give a concrete time when updates will happen, but it should be within the next month or two for sure.
