Xillian Moonbase
Aragorn has discovered a new Xillian base on the Moon. Not only does this battlefield lack cover and has almost no gravity, the Xillians have a nearly unlimited supply of monstrosities to prevent damage to their latest project. Sending a kaiju to prevent destruction? They were never known for their common sense...
Cover: Minimal (NO BONUS to Defense Rolls)
Homefield: None
Veterans: None
Special Rules: Should a kaiju roll 22, 44, 66 or 88, the attack has sent its opponent spiraling out of control and into space. Any other abilities the attacking kaiju might have on these numbers are shunted to 23, 45, 67 or 89.
On its next turn, the hapless foe must attempt to get back to the lunar surface by rolling 1-6 on a 10d BEFORE it can counter-attack. If it fails, the kaiju drifts even farther away.
On the following turn, the SUCCESS range is REDUCED to 1-5, then 1-4. After 3 attempts, the kaiju has drifted too far from the battlefield and is disqualified. Its opponent gets the victory.
This Rule has no effect on SPACE or AERIAL kaiju.
Put down the fighting!: - The Xillians are extremely upset over the destruction being caused by the raging battle and order a monster teleported from Planet X to stop the fighting kaiju!
After completion of the FIRST ROUND, roll a d10.
On '1', a monster arrives at the battlefield.
After Round 2, the range is 1-2. Round 3, 1-3. etc.
The monster has a PN of 40. It makes a Focus Roll each round to determine which kaiju it will attack. The DD contenders must do likewise.
It takes two HITS to drive off the Xillian beast which does not make Defense Rolls.
Since the monstrosity is seeking to prevent damage to the Moon base, it has no compunction about attacking kaiju that might have previously been under Xillian control.
