<font color='#000080'>Well it said on MZ that that the 76 year old Hiroshi Koizumi is to reprise his role of Dr. Chujo Nakazo. *The same character he played in both &quot;Godzilla vs. Mothra&quot; and &quot;Ghidrah: The Three Headed Monster&quot;. *

This is rather interesting, so does this mean that the event in both movies occur in this timeline? *This is interesting, that means there is a chance of Ghidorah and RODAN being in the timeline. *They probably won't show up in the latest installment but they could both appear in the 50th Anniversary movie. &nbsp;Hmmm... interesting, very interesting.

I think you got that a little mixed up. According to Aaron's article, he played the same character in MvsG and Ghidrah, but this was a DIFFERENT character from the one who is in Mothra and GMM. Actually, he was wrong too. In MvsG, dude plays Professor Miura, but in Ghidrah, he plays a DIFFERENT character named Murai. Or it might have been the other way around...

no, i beleive he is to reprise the role he had in Mothra 62, and Mothra 62 alone.

That quote's right. Anyway, it's great to see veteran Toho actors, even though they're old, return to Godzilla movies. It'll be great to see Koizumi again.

Hopefully he could work along with Mizuno (the PM of Japan) in this films. Like old times. Oh, and according to Dracois on my forum, the Shobojin return.

<font color='#0000FF'>Ah, so it looks as if the Mothra that will apper in GMM is indeed the '61 Mothra. All I can say is.........SWWWEEEETTT!!

While I'm still dissapointed at the idea of Toho wanting to rehash the same monsters over and over again, it looks as if Tezuka can make the most out of what little he is given to work with.

Yeah, the Mothra in this movie is the 1961 incarnation, but it'll look a lot different then it did in 1961. Since Mothra will just be an old prop from Mothra 3, she'll either be Eternal Mothra or Mothra Leo. Everyone's saying she'll be Eternal Mothra, so she won't look like the 1961 incarnation at all.

It should be the Eternal Mothra version. They said that it was the one with all the delicate fur that was kept in very safe storage so it wouldnt be ruined. Eternal Mothra was covered in fur, so I would assume it that one. Besides, its the best looking Mothra ever designed and you never really got to see it, so it would be sweet to see them use that one.

I can say I'm happy with this news, like everything's as it seems. Doncha think its more easier now to remake DAM than ever before? But eternal Mothra? That ridulous looking thing at the end of Mothra 3? It looks more like a &quot;happy troll&quot; with that hair than a monster god. http://www.rodansroost.com/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif

Former WBA boxer Katsuya Onizuka will play the operator of MechaGodzilla in Godzilla X Mosura X MechaGodzilla. Onizuka, 32, was the World Boxing Association Super Belt winner in 1987 and 1994.

Hey, what happened to Akane Yashiro?

Because the scriptwriters like writing women?

Bollocks.

The word &quot;sexism&quot; comes to mind.

I have no problem with females in leading roles, but we have had two female-soldiers-who-want-revenge-on-Godzilla roles so far, so a change is welcome, in character, not necessarily in gender.

I thought that was just the GXM chick, and Ayane was motivated to make up for her mistake at the Maser tank battle (where she got someone killed).

I don't have a problem with a female character either. It's just that the latest female lead characters are carbon copies of each other.

I believe this item from Sponichi &nbsp;(July 4, 2003) might have gotten missed:

Miho Yoshioka Joins Cast of GMMG &nbsp; &nbsp;

23 year old Miho Yoshioka was chosen to be the new heroine of the latest Godzilla film Godzilla X Mothra X MechaGodzilla. She will be the new pilot for MechaGodzilla in the film which opens December 13.

It also appears Yumiku Shaku will be reappearing to reprise her role in a small part in the upcoming project.

On Henshin!Online we translated the Japanese report announcing Yoshioka's involvement in GMMG and added a career bio and links to another interview, a ton of swimsuit photos, screensavers, and even a downloadable voice clip. Click http://www.henshinonline.com/archive.html and scroll to the article on 7/14/03.

There's an interview and bio of Hiroshi Koizumi on the H!O homepage http://www.henshinonline.com/ that was posted 9/24/03.

And interviews and bios for director Massaki Tezuka, sfx director Eiichi Asada, designer Shinji Nishikawa, monster maker Shinichi Wakasa, and actor Akira Nakao should be available today. Check the H!O homepage this evening.
