Adama's Stare

I'm not sure how relevant this will be, since I'm not sure how many other Brits are on here, but I just felt like voicing my irritation at the few utter morons who end up giving protesters a bad name when they start lobbing bricks off the roofs of buildings. It's a reasonable grievance to be annoyed at a tripling of tuition fees, but when it's dismissed as a bunch of violent thugs and/or rich students just looking for a reason to protest, it's a complete joke. This hike is going to affect all but the very richest of students, and we have a right to protest, s0 I just wish the media would ignore the violent idiots who are just spoiling for a fight, and realise that not every university student comes from a privileged background. Some people have to work damn hard to get where they've gotten. Any thoughts on protesting or the fairness of increasing tuition fees from £3,000 to £9,000? Not to say that it probably wasn't students who were responsible for the current economic mess in the first place...
