Going JJ here. Despite Kong having great strength, JJ is quicker and also incredible in strength.

I love this fight.

I'm going with JJ, also. Kong has enormous strength, as shown by how he manhandles a solid Godzilla, but don't forget JJ's Ultimate Warrior gorilla-press (no pun intended) of Gigan. He's got power, too. And while Kong has the means to put a hurt on, JJ took a hell of a beating from Gigan and Megalon and kept coming back. In a match between a brawler and a trained fighter, the trained one wins.

Wow, I see we were all thinking the same thing. Couple things for me to add:

1) Jet Jaguar has an enormous advantage here and it's called flight. If Kong is on the verge of dismantling him, Jet Jaguar could just seek refuge in the clouds.

2) Don't forget what Jet Jaguar did to Gigan's arm. Looked like he broke it by hitting it with his knee. Jet Jaguar's one mean SOB. He's also a damn good strategist and fighter.

3) There's always shrinking down and hiding if the going gets tough. Not that it'll come to that.

It's a great fight and JJ will taking a beat. Kong could win. But since he's not being augmented by electricity and delivering shocking grips, Jet Jaguar wins the majority.

I guess I gotta be the dissenting opinion here. JJ's never really hit me as that impressive. He was barely handling Megalon, who (despite his impressive array of weapons) is extremely deficient in the brains category. And even when Godzilla finally came to his rescue, Jet Jaguar was still the "Brooklyn Brawler" to Godzilla's "Hulk Hogan". I'm still of the opinion that Jet Jaguar pretty much pounced on an already weakened Gigan after Godzilla softened him up after their "DARING" escape from the "totally dangerous" knee-high ring of fire. Because, don't forget, this "mighty warrior" somehow got himself buried up to his chest during a fight with Gigan earlier. That takes a special kind of incompetant if you ask me. I mean, Gigan couldn't exactly GRAB him and plant him into the ground, he has hooks for hands. That's almost like getting beaten by a one-legged man in an ***-kicking contest.

I'm not saying Kong's especially awesome, I just don't think this will be the cakewalk everyone's painting it out to be.

This is actually a fair assessment. JJ isn't really that great at hand to hand fighting. Yes, he is much faster on his feet than Kong is, but all Kong has to do is get one good grab on him, and the Ultraman ripoff is going to get beat. Kong is able to spin Godzilla around by the tail and toss him easily. JJ can't even spin around in worry of getting dizzy. Kong also has more options open to him and has shown an ever more impressive feat in ripping an octopus off his face like it was nothing, despite the suction that is most definitely involved from the tentacles. I dunno, I think I am going to lean King Kong here too.
