Sorry to see Gigan go out so soon, but we already had this debate and more during the DD.

Ouch. I think this is the worst possible foe for King Cobra. Gigan has the perfect counter to bieng constricted, just turn on the buzzsaw.

Cobra wins, mainly because he is incredibly fast once he starts crushing you. I think Gigan could win, but as pointed out in my last debate, Cobra is massive. Maybe Gigan inflicts some nasty damage with his saw, but probably dies first.

Gigan's blade is not large enough to cause fatal damage if Cobra constricts and Gigan is able to activate the buzzsaw. (I loved bringing this up in the last debate btw )

Cobra is likely fast and strong enough to crush Gigan before he is able to activate the buzz saw. Especially if he is disoriented by being blinded.


Cobra's bite is very powerful as KC showed against Robo Yeti and he targets the neck region. This is not good for any opponent.


Gigan...despite looking pointy... is a brawler and dos not have the finesse to combat a quick striking as effectively as Cobra can counter him.


Oh and before I forget... King Cobra could beat Gigan AND Megalon at the same time.

Forgot how fast KC is at constricting. And, yeah he is big enough that it won't cut him in half instantly. If Gigan does manage to get the saw on, I do think it would make KC let go though. Oh and can KC use the glue in this? I mean it is a projectile.

While Gigan's saw can't slice the Cobra into half, it most certainly can cut deep enough to hit something vital. And I seriosuly doubt the constriction is going to scatter Gigan across the battlefield like it did to the Cyber-Yeti.

That and the GTS creatures are less durable than the Toho kaiju (Even a toughie like GTS Zilla got hurt by a Helicopter blade at one point, IIRC and the Shrewster got suck in a stage of sorts). Gigan's claws will damage the KC pretty badly.

But Gigan is stupid. If the King Cobra constricts him, he may be too dimwitted to pull off his saw. And the Cobra may be fast and skinny enough to avoid his strikes.

Yeah, one on one I think Cobra would dominate Megalon and Gigan easily. It won't be too long before Gigan is crunched. So I am with SHM here. Quite a shame too. Was hoping for Gigan to go far.

Gigan is going to get slaughtered.

King Cobra is not only too fast for him, he's stronger than him. The moment he binds Gigan, the chicken-cyborg is screwed. Don't forget about Cobra's jaws and how they made short work of Robo-Yeti. Cobra was tearing him apart just by biting him. Cobra did worse when he constricted Robo-Yeti so hard, it made him burst into many pieces.

Gigan can't really counter this. Even if he decides to use his buzzsaw, I don't think it can cut its way through Cobra fast enough.

If it went through Angy's ehad like that, even piercing Angy's bone, it will go through the frailer Cobra like a bread knife through butter. And while ti won't slice the fat snake into half, it may hti soemthing vital, especially since Cobra is wrapping so tight. And if all esle faisl, it will just hurt so damn much the Cobra will let go.

Though I doubt Gigan has the brains to decied to use it quickly.
