Ultra Monsters

I was looking into some of the monsters used by both Ultraman and the Godzilla series. I came across mention that Varan was used to create a monster or two for the Ultra series. I was wondering if anyone knew which monsters Varan's suit was used to portray.

I don't recall Varan turning up in Ultraman. Maybe Ultra Q? I know the Baragon suit was used frequently in Ultraman.

Well i meant to put the Ultra series, but yea I saw it say something like that... I know that Kong, Baragon, and (I read) Varan were used. I just wasn't 100% sure what it was used in.

The Baragon suit was used for Pagos (Ultra Q), and Neronga and Gabora from the original Ultraman series. The Godzilla suit was used for both Gomess (Ultra Q, again) and Jiras from the original Ultraman (and part of that fight basically looked like Ultraman vs Godzilla once Ultraman tore his frill off)., and I think Goro from Ultra Q was a modified Kong suit. I don't remember seeing anything from the original Ultraman that resembled Varan, but half the suits used in the original Ultraman series reused and modified the same suits over and over to the point some of them were falling apart left and right (Red King's second appearance where he's beating up Dorako is a prime example).

I read somewhere after posting this that the body was used for Agira I believe

Almost every original Ultra Q monster used Toho props. Oodako, Manda, and Magma also popped up in the show. There may be others but I'm not certain.
