Yay! All of these shows I mention suck! I mean, they just blow on ice. Don't watch them. Do yourself a favour. You're just encouraging the respective companies to make even more episodes and market their sh!tty product even more.
Pokemon (only good thing about it is Mewtwo)
Digimon (though some of the monsters look cool)
BeyBlade (yuck)
Yu-Gi-Oh (argh)
Just about everything on MTV (yuckers)
Blind Date (I feel sick)
Spongebob Squarepants ( Bikini Bottom?! Worms! )
Braceface (disgusting)
What's With Andy? (revolting)
My Dad the Rock Star ( Rockzilla?! Shut up and die! )

I happen to like Yu-Gi-Oh. I don't think it should be cancelled, it's one of the only shows now-a-days that have the same feel as the classic cartoons of the early 90s. The plots and villians are interesting, and many of the monsters have great designs.
You know what really needs to be cancelled though... "SURVIVOR!"

<font color='#008080'>I think the lead theory is that reality tv should go to hell. I totally agree, but not American Chopper though. I can't believe that Sci-Fi cancelled Tremors yet keeps stupid #### like Scare Tactics. American Idol sucks, Survivor sucks, dating shows suck, Punkd sucks (though I think that it actually is cancelled), and most of all Fear Factor absolutely fu**ing sucks. Other than reality TV I really can't think of anything else. They're canceling so many good shows, like Angel for one, simply to make room for more reality TV. The station heads must pay.

<font color='#000F22'>I hope South Park lasts for a couple more seasons, as Trey Parker and Matt Stone will never run out of s**t to lampoon. I really wish they'd do an episode making fun of Michael Jackson in the same tone as their NAMBLA episode.
And Pokemon should have been cancelled YEARS ago. I originally heard years ago that they were going to end it with the forth movie but they decided to keep the damn show going and add 100 more Pokemon (it was confusing enough with 250). It was fun at first when I was a young teen, but now NOBODY watches that damn show anymore.
Also, all reality shows should be cancelled, everything, they all suck so much. But I can sort of understand why people watch them from seeing a bit of them, they are like a train wreck, you can't bear to watch but the shows are too entralling and morbidly fascinating to make you want to change the channel, especially something like Fear Factor or Scare Tactics.
And Spongebob should go too, that show was entertaining at first but has now overstayed it welcome. I'm so annoyed that Nickelodeon decided to keep that tired show running and cancel Invader Zim, one of the best US cartoon shows in history.
And The Man Show should go too, as should Straight Plan for the Gay Man.

<font color='#FF7F00'>South Park has stayed consistantly funny throughout the years, so I think that they should keep that.
The Simpsons has been around way to long and is running out of ideas, so it should be taken off at some point, unless they can get some really good ones.
They should kill the Pokemon show. The only thing good about Pokemon is the game, which I enjoy.
The Man Show used to be good, but lost its touch some time ago. Then, they just made a bunch of Kimmel/Corolla shows and aired them on Comedy Central without thinking (like Crank Yankers), and while they have their moments, they pretty much suck.
SpongeBob doesn't bother me in the slightest. I enjoy watching it once in a while. In fact, SpongeBob is one of my better impressions.
Rugrats seems to be the only older show that Nickelodeon won't cancel. They should do so, as well as cancel all Rugrats-related shows, like All Grown Up.

FOX NEWS should stay, simply because they are the funniest news station around and totally disprove the conservatives "liberal media theory". They actually have the nerve to call themselves "fair and balanced".

Honestly I think the Simpsons should've been the door for a couple of years now. I mean, Jeez Louise, they can't even make a funny Halloween episode anymore. I just think that FOX just doesn't have any idea what to replace the show , so until then, it stays. ER is another one that wore out its welcome a long time ago when Clooney left, its time to go. And Jimmy Kimmel, you just stink. Leave. Now.

Dragon Ball Z and any of it's spin-offs
Pokemon
Digimon
Charmed
All of Nickelodeon
All of the Disney Channel
All of MTV
All of VH1
The Man Show- I liked it up until Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Carolla left. The new hosts suck.
Stargate SG-1- I liked this series up until about season four. You know a show is running out of ideas when they start resorting to "clips" episodes on a regular basis. And their handling of ancient mythology is downright insulting to anyone familiar with that stuff (i.e. the Egyptian God Sokar was NOT a Satan counterpart, nor was he an evil God, nor did he rule over a Hell-like realm)
With that last one, in mind, perhaps the entire Sci-Fi channel should be taken off the air. None of the made-for-TV movies they show are any good anyway.

I agree with Zigra about Stargate-SG1, the plot has become identical to Sliders, elements from the original movie are pointlessly changed (Not that it was very good, but better than any of the episodes), and most alien cultures speak english.
I wouldn't go far as to cancel it, but knock it down a few pegs. It does not deserve its marathons, it does not deserve to be on three or four times a day. It does not deserve a spin-off series (Stargate Atlantis). Give some that time and budget to a revived Farscape or MST3K instead.

^Definitely agree with that. And the fact that Joe Rogan is an annoying little ***** just makes it ripe for bludgeoning. Death, death, death to that infernal show.
Anyways, shows that need to be cancelled:
ALL Reality TV, especially the Joe Millionaire/For Love or Money bullshit they keep shoving in your face. If I ever have some free time, I'd join in one of those shows. then I'd bring out my huge *** machete and gut everyone into tiny pieces.
Makeover shows. Annoying, arrogant, and just a big waste of time. I don't want anyone with a ***** eye touching my hair, I like it just fine, thank you. And extreme makeovers with loud vulgar hosts aren't my thing exactly, either.
DBZ, and all of its derivatives. Repetitive and poorly animated shows with inane plots and villains that take five weeks to kill [ though the show claims it all happened in 5 hours! ] whole episodes of just focusing on a character's gaping maw and other such things are extremely intolerable to my eyes. They must be dealt with as the scum they reall are.
Charmed, and similar other shows. Ugh, don't even ask... :nonono2:
Dating shows. If there's anything more banal, worse or disgusting than 'relationship reality TV', it is the fecal waste that are dating games. As Lord K would normally say, LUST is the primary objective here. And I don't think whores pretending to look for a 'smart, caring and intelligent counterpart' and losers who haven't had a date since Junior High is anyone's idea of spending the night away. Honsetly, these shows are just too septic to be put on TV.

NOOOO!!
There's a new reality show coming out on UPN (that is unless the Pennsylvanian Govt. gets it stopped) called "Amish in the City". The show puts five amish youths in a house with five city youths, and they tape how they interact. The amish are allowed to do this because they are at a point where (I think it might be asomething in their religion) that allows them to go out and experience the "temptations" of the city, and then decide if they want to stay in the amish religion.

-Ash's picks:
Yu-gi-oh: Poke'mon with Cards... needs to be destroyed.
Poke'mon: Time to put this ol' dog out of it's misery. Take it to the pasture... somone... please.
Power Rangers: They've gone well beyond beating the dead horse... now they're violating it.
Transformers: Energon: *******izing my favorite robots is just going too over the line here. God... look what they did to Ironhide and Prime!!! I can't believe what they've done to my favorite TV show concept. The Japanese need to stop even THINKING about Transformers. period. Armada sucked enough... we didn't need the grand return of these characters again.
"Reality" Shows in General: All those stupid shows should be rounded up and sent to the woodchipper.
Reno 911: Nobody liked that show, which is why it was almost cancelled... why make more?
The Carson Daly Talk Show and the Jimmy Kimmel Talk Show: Pale imitations of Jay, David, and Conan. Besides... why in God's green earth are people still giving that Carson doosh TV shows?
Modern Marvels: The most boring show on the History Channel, and they love to show back to back to back episodes. Make it stop.
**Forgot to mention**
Code Lyoko: Total crap of a TV show. I don't know if it's an import from Japan or just some group of Americans trying to cash in on the Anime Craze. But what I do know is that it's a very crappy show, and deserves to be taken off of Cartoon Network.

No it's a religion, I watched the show last night, just a little bit because it was on for two hours and I am not that intrested in it, and one of the girls was talking about the event where they get to do this, and she said:
"We get to decide if we want to stay here or go back to the Amish relgion."
So it's a relgion, I believe, even though i'm not an expert on it.

pokemon and its rip offs- already been said.
reality tv - im SO sick of this crap
mtv - i rememeber when the M stood for music.
tough crowd with colin quinn - this show is stupid...instead of intelligent debate you get bad comedians trying to yell louder than the other to get heard then they always end a piece with a ridiculously bad joke.
crossballs - same as above...a debate show...a totally POINTLESS debate show. you have someone with a point arguing the totally ridiculous and obviously fake points of the other side...why the hell would anyone want to watch a FAKE debate show.
sponge bob square pants - great we got a show on nickelodeon that 20 year old guys watch...and think its funny. im sorry i might have liked it when i was ten.

This is no doubt off-topic but mention of this culture brings to mind how "reality" TV is anything but that. For a quick overview of the Amish culture, here is one quick link (http://dede.essortment.com/amishculture_rxkp.htm).
Their communities are rather widespread across the U.S. so a little research could prove more fruitful (and informative) than going by how they might be portrayed on a TV show that appears to be going for the old "freak show" angle.
ADDITIONAL: Here is the link to UPN (http://www.upn.com/shows/amish_in_the_city/)'s "side" of AMISH IN THE CITY, what I would consider a contradiction in itself.

" explain please? havent watched the show in a while."
Yeah, Simpsons is tackling Gay marriage and a long time character is coming out of the proverbial closet.

Transformers: Energon: *******izing my favorite robots is just going too over the line here. God... look what they did to Ironhide and Prime!!! I can't believe what they've done to my favorite TV show concept. The Japanese need to stop even THINKING about Transformers. period. Armada sucked enough... we didn't need the grand return of these characters again.Honestly, the show isn't half as bad as you make it seem. It's one of the better shows that's on nowadays. The story's actually good and you don't believe me you should try to find some way to view subtitled episodes. You'd probably enjoy the series more. It's a homage to Generation One. You may also want to view this article called "Hasrbo SUXX", well actually it's an essay: http://tfarchive.com/community/showthread.php?threadid=23795
If you can get passed the whole "Prime combines with stuff? This show sucks!!!!" issue, maybe you can start to see the good points it has (and do read that essay, it makes some good points on certain stuff concerning Hasbro). As someone once said on a TF Board, the Japanese version is the best show he's liked since the originals.
Lets here what other TF fans from Seibertron had to say on this?
KRAVNEN:This IS the closest to G1 we've seen in terms of characters and the interaction. Megatron sounded maniacal throughout his monolouge, especially the cackle at the end. I liked the music in the beginning seems to fit it, and had flairs of rock in there too.
All in all, i have to say i enjoyed the episode and cant wait to see more.
Dark Ops: It's... hard to explain.
I just like transformers period. The toys are amazing peices of engineering, and it's something I've always wanted to get involved with. The stories are good, and the characters have personality... not just cookie cutter stereotypes. (I'm talking about Superlink here, I'm afraid I can't stand the voices/changing the lines in Energon)
I don't think I could give a good answer. It's just something I never let go of, and I hope that someday, my kids will have fun with them too.
Armada Prime: The story rocks. If only they could have gotten that awesome animation that was used in certain Armada episodes. Most noticably Mortal Combat.
Juchechosun: I give Superlink an 8. It still has room for improvement, but with what we have got so far and another 26 episodes to go, I say it has got potential to be the greatest TF show.
Master Fwiffo: Super Link is a 10. Easily the best show since Beast Wars, and almost on a par. ENERGON gets a 4. At best. Great show ruined by a crappy dub.
(LK comment: Superlink got praise, so it's not all bad. ;) )
KrypterTwo: You know, having now watched some episodes of fansubbed Superlink, the dialogue IS better than Energon. Perhaps it's the power of suggestion, but without all the whiny voices from Energon the show seems much more mature and respectable.
I'd give Superlink an 8/10. And kudos to the Wolf Pack.
The extended story arc is quite good, though I hope I won't have to watch 60+ episodes before it concludes.
ChErikS:Well... that was officially ten million times better than any episode of Armada or RID. They even made Prime's super mode seem cool. After watching it I really want to buy an army of Terrorcons.
Oh... and not a single incorrect name was uttered that I noticed.
Dark Ops:Also, Kicker needs to die soon. He's such a stupid character, who cares if he doesn't like Transformers?
In Superlink, Kicker was a lot more likeable. Primus didn't say: "What do you run on?" He said "Let's awaken your inner power."
He's tied to the energon now, and while he still doesn't like transformers, that's more from old childhood fears instead of some lingering hatred.
*Goes back to watching fansubs.*

-Ash's picks:
Yu-gi-oh: Poke'mon with Cards... needs to be destroyed. How about no? I find most episodes of Yu-Gi-Oh well written and very enjoyable. I know everyone is gonna whine about this but I think it's one of the more better animes out there, and I can't wait for the movie.
Poke'mon: Time to put this ol' dog out of it's misery. Take it to the pasture... somone... please. I agree with you there.
Power Rangers: They've gone well beyond beating the dead horse... now they're violating it. Yeah, the first series wasn't bad but these new ones...ugh.
I don't know...I guess you right about that.
"Reality" Shows in General: All those stupid shows should be rounded up and sent to the woodchipper. Amen to that, brother, amen...
Reno 911: Nobody liked that show, which is why it was almost cancelled... why make more?I can't stand shows that aren't funny in the least, either.
The Carson Daly Talk Show and the Jimmy Kimmel Talk Show: Pale imitations of Jay, David, and Conan. Besides... why in God's green earth are people still giving that Carson doosh TV shows? I never watch those shows anyway.
Modern Marvels: The most boring show on the History Channel, and they love to show back to back to back episodes. Make it stop. It never stops! HA HA HA HA!!!
**Forgot to mention**
Code Lyoko: Total crap of a TV show. I don't know if it's an import from Japan or just some group of Americans trying to cash in on the Anime Craze. But what I do know is that it's a very crappy show, and deserves to be taken off of Cartoon Network.Ok I take that comment as a personal insult to myself and my many friends who enjoy it as well. This show is probably one of the best cartoon there has ever been. I'm seriously about that. Code LYOKO just goes to show that a cartoon can be great without filling it with large amount of action, and Xana is one evil computer program. The best episode of it is "Ghost Channel" I won't say what it's about but trust me, it is most awesome.

The History Channel needs to get its act together.
Uh...what's wrong with the History Channel? It's entertaining. One of the very few stations I actually recommend to people because most people tend to become stupid after watching too many stupid TV shows. Many do not read anymore, especially younger people. So TV is the only way they will learn. And The History Channel is one of those channels that is very educational.
Some explanations on why The History Channel needs to "get its act together" would be nice.
Also seems like Cole and some other people hate TV altogether lol.

I know everyone is gonna whine about this but I think it's one of the more better animes out there, and I can't wait for the movie.Yu-Gi-Oh rules! And the episodes are well written, with great plot twists and characters. Some people just can't get passed the fact that the show is based on a card game, similar to Pokemon (but the shows are nothing alike). Yu-Gi-Oh's dark, and matured compared to Pokemon and Digimon. Yami Marik = one the greatest villains in animation history. Every saga leads into the next, one giant and awesome story arc... Pokemon couldn't even wish to accomplish that. :sly:

If not, I cannot see how someone's dislike of it could affect you in any LOGICAL way.
I believe there is a "Best cartoon" topic somewhere around here. If not, maybe we need one to REALLY find out what folks like best. It would be nice to see a list of RECOMMENDED viewing to counter what has been listed here.

Must cancel the Yu-Gi-HO, you see the problem with YGO is not the actual show itself, its the CARDS. And maybe the lil goth boy Yu-Gi.

Um, this might be a little of topic, but can we stop with the "that bothers me" etc.? These are only people's opinions, and if you have a bone to pick with them, why don't you just send them a pm and talk about it in private? That isn't what this thread is for.

I think a lot of people might be dissatisfied with TV as a whole because of the wealth of offerings we now have. With our cable system, for a set fee, you get a "package" that includes a bunch of stuff I'm just plain not interested in. Ideally, if we could just pay for what we want to see, "the system" wouldn't be getting so much static from customers and probably more subscribers/viewers.
"Suits" and marketers (advertisers) have gotten into it so bad ENTERTAINMENT seems to have gone out the window. TV was better IMO when ALL the stations could be found between 3-13. Technology has made it possible to serve about every niche imaginable (with more on the way) but I believe the QUALITY of content has gone way down hill.
As for the primary "major" over-the-air networks, they seem to be either catering to the lowest common denominator or trying to be all things to everyone.
News services need to get rid of their "agendas" (if they have them). They're not doing a sports cast where commentators can inject their two cents every opportunity they get. They're supposed to be REPORTERS and do have "the power of the press" at their disposal which should be used responsibly.
There are no doubt other "problems" but TV just isn't worth that much of my time anymore.

That Charmed show needs to be cancelled. My younger cousin loves it and I had to sit through an episode of that crapfest today.
