<font color='#FF0000'>I was wondering who had seen this game.
I go out of my way to find stuff for it. I love it.
The story, the cut-scenes, the fight system. I can't wait for it. I am going to get it as soon as it comes out.
What do you all think of this game?

Just wondering, are there actually any anime sequences in the game Tales of Symphonia, or is the opening movie just some rip-off?

I believe that there are. I don't own a copy, but at least one of my friends does, and another was obssessed with getting this game. I do remember him telling me that it does.

Hello i'm Gorjirus' friend who owns Tales of Symphonia. First off this is a great game and i'm completly addicted to it. Now you ask if that is the only sequence in it, and as far as I know, it is not, I believe you will see more at the end of disc one, the beggining of disc two and at the very end of the game, this is my speculation, I can't tell you for sure because I've yet to reach the end of disc one and i'm 30-40 hours in, already there has been so many twists, plot twist, surprises, and awesome graphics, that i'm about to have a seizure. J/K.
Tha game is done with cel shading, and since it's supposed to be anime like, it looks very good. The charecter's are well done, and there are a bunch of parts where they speak just like you are watching an anime, and they all have great voices. I listed some of them in the "What are you playing now?" thread.
If you like RPG's then I suggest you pick this game up, it's a near must have for someone with a Gamecube, since one (if not the only one) of the good RPG's on there.
It's not a ripoff, and I found a lot of things that are from other games two. One for example was:
I was in the slums part of a city and I saw a guy with a broad sword sheathed on his back. I spoke to him and he said:
"I heard there was a cute flower seller in here, but I guess that was a false rumor."
That was extremly FF7 related, I think if Namco was asked about that, they would denie it and say it was your imaginination, but they are just toying with us.
Oh, I almost forgot, there are skits. Skits are where you are out in the field or city and when you see the z button in the corner you press it and, mugshots of some charecters will come up and discuss things. It's like you get to watch personal conversations, their faces animate, mouth's move (like they are speaking) and other things, you just have to see to know what i'm talking about. Soemtimes they are hilarious and other times they are serious.
Ok that's all I have to say now. (Kratos Aurion is the best from this game!)

*ahem* I can now officially gaurantee that that is not th eonly anime scene in the game, there will be more before the end of disc 1, these will be the first ones (besides the opening) that you shall see.

Hey, in tales of Symphonia, I talked to Ralph (or whatever his name is) in Ozette, and Presea was level 80, and I didn't get the Gaia Cleaver. How do you get it? Especially since now Ralph is gone?
My second question is that on Katz island, you can talk to the "Mayor" and see every skit in the game. The are several skits (most of the begin with "Welcom back..."), and it says that in on area of the game, Mithos posesses all of the characters except Lloyd. When does this happen? (Not counting the incident with Origin)
My third question is how the heck do you get Kratos back on the team near the end of the game? I've heard of it happening but I have no idea how.

1. You may be too far into the game, and many of the latent things that you could have done before, is now impossible, you must be really close to the end, and there is no turning back.
2. I don't know, I haven't done that yet.
3. I have Kratos in my party, and i'm not going to let any spoilers slip, just keep one magic swordsmans relationship really high, and the other low. There should be a scene (sooner or later) when you have to wait in a doctors office, If you hear Kratos say "Lloyd" and go outside, there will be a scene where you speak to him. You pretty much know you got him then, and he will join your party later.
Hope this helps!

What do you mean in the third answer? One has to like the the other and the other hate him? Do they both need to be in the magic swordsman class?

I was trying not to get too descriptive, to allow others to discover on their own.
Let's see. When you save, underneath the charecters stats, the is a number, usualy with a decimal like: 89.1
that is the charecters relationship with you. Keep whomever you want to keep in your party, relationship high, and the other one low. So that means keep Kratos high and Zelos' low, and the scene should happen. Do the opposite if you want Zelos.

No, I mean letters. Try typing in less than fifteen for a post.

Erm...sorry about that...
Anyways, I don't have anything else to ask, but thanks for the help. (I never did like Zelos...)
