Seriously, have you downloaded all the extra 'official' animals yet? They have some really cool ones, many of them are even my favourites. Like the Yeti (how could I not think it to be very cool that they have a freakin' Yeti? ). There is also a Mexican Grey Wolf that is very cool and comes along with a number of south of the Border stuff, like a Mexican archway and a Nacho stand. But for my favourites, look no further than the animals included in Zoo Tycoon Complete Collection (and now available on the official site), because they added the one critter I always look for in a zoo - the Komodo dragon!

By the by, there are some really cool user made animals that you can download on ZooAdmin. Just about any of the ones made by a programmer named 'Mngwa' are really fantastic. I've downloaded things like the Nile Crocodile, West African Dwarf Crocodile (we have one of those in the Phoenix Zoo), Arabian Oryx, a clutch of monkies, and even some small animals like the Nile Monitor lizard and the Aardwolf (and Meerkats!!!http://www.rodansroost.com/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif. Plus he had the coolness to make his namesake, the Mngwa, which is a crptozoological creature, a third big cat predator of Africa which is supposedly very dangerous and is covered in grey fur (there was a spate of really nasty killings in the 1920's in the Uganda region and several victims were found clutching grey hairs that did not belong to any known feline).

Well, this game sounds indeed fun. I wish I had it, and its definitly on the top of computer games to get, if not things to get. I would ask for it as a Holiday present, but money in my family is extreamly tight right now, and I already used up a good deal of money on Dungeons and Dragons book. Oh well, there is always my brother gets it for his birthday in Jan., or the possibility my sister can get it for the Holidays as her gift, sinse she was the one who played it at a friends house and said how cool it was. Oh well, just another reason for me to actually get a freakin job. With all 3 expansion packs packed into one at an affordable price, it looks like it might become avalible in the near future.

Oh, and if its what you look for in a zoo, the Toronto Zoo has a breeding pair of Komodo Dragons, and they've recently laid eggs.

I once downloaded a full version from Kazaa and although it was riddled with bugs, due to it being an illegal downloaded version I presume, I loved it immensely. It was one of the better games I have played in a long time and something I could really get in to when I have the free time.

Alas it will not run on my broken down PC at home but it is something I would definitely pay for to get the full version in the future.

I've downloaded a Triceratops by naming one of the exibits in my zoo "Cretaceous Corral" I also downloaded a Runicorn. But I don't know how to get the others that you told about. Just go to www.zootycoon.com and download them (note that the Endangered Species set from the Complete Collection will only work if you have Marine Mania as well as the other two). The only official animal that isn't on there is the Sable Antelope, which can be found at zoo.ogresnet.com.

Also, if you rename an exhibit 'Super Croc' it will unlock Deinosuchus.

Oh, isnt little CL so cute playing with his zoo animals. Dont you just want to give him a big hug. Maybe if your all good he will let you play with his Meerkats. But I bet his favorite it the cute, soft and furry floppy eared bunny.

The one for the unicorn is 'Xanadu'. I don't know of any other 'name the exhibit' cheats. Not that I use many cheats to begin with.

oh, man, i love that game.  it's so cool!!!  i like putting nimals that go together well in the same exhibit, like the Ankolosauruses and the Rhinos or the Plateosaurus's and the Unicorns.  that game is the coolest game ever.  one thing i love doing is making a large lake in the middle, and flowing a few rivers through the park and building the exhibits around it.  it's really great architecture when you do that.  i cant beleive that they came out with one with the Komodo Dragon, after i had bought it before.  that stinks:angry: .  oh well.  there is a download button on the main screen though.  i haven't seen the mirkats there, but i haven't tried to download in a few months, so let me try tha before i give up hope on the Dragon and the Meerkats.

Cretacious Corral gets a triceratops, and Microsoft get more money for tsomething but i forget what.  there are some cheats that are known for getting stuff like the Orangutang and Red Panda or even some Spyro the Dragon characters, but they only work on some, i think mac versions.  also if you put a penguin with another herbivore, then the penguin eats him, and if you put a lion a tiger, and a bear together in an exhibit, in that order, then you unlock the yellow brick road.  you can also go to cheat planet .com and they've got quite a few cheats, although only about a third of them work, so...

wait, what giant croc http://www.rodansroost.com/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/eh.gif ?  i almost forgot the motherload of all cheats.  if you press and hold shift and 4 keys, then your money will start going up and it's pretty cool.  now you can only do it at the beggining of a game, because it wears away at the fences and such, so dont do it when you're playing the game.

You need to place the megatherium in your 'updates folder' within the Zoo Tycoon directory. Make sure it is a .ztd file and not labeled as a .zip file. The giant ground sloth should then show up.
