The story is as follows: the scientists of G-Force have succeeded in being able to duplicate Godzilla's genetic code, and to create a power substance called "Godzilla-Matter," which is nearly indestructible. However, the Vortaak discover this break through, and strike Monster Island in hopes of stealing these G-Cells for themselves. Once again, the Vortaak seize control of the Earth monsters to follow through with their plans. As Godzilla, the player will attempt to defeat the Vortaak, rescue the other monsters, and recover the stolen G-Cells.

Hmm this could mean there's going to be a Gamecube release afterall since the main reason it didn't get it in the first place was it not supporting online play. That's weird that they'd all the sudden come out with downloadable content for DAMM.

Oh well. It's not like I can't live without some new city maps and minigames anyways. The regular game will suit me just fine, and we should be glad that we're still getting it in the first place.

Oh yeah, sure. Cancel online capability for the two top online systems so that they can put out a special, unannounced, online version of the game on a weaker system...smartest thing I've heard all year...
Anyway, back to reality, I wouldn't take this to heart. One of the main, and first things announced for GSTE was the online play. Atari isn't stupid enough to drop it, especially for XBox Live, when it was such a major part of their campaign from the very start. Just doesn't sound right...

While it urks me to hear riffing of the Gamecube, being a Nintendo baby myself, I'm still ticked as anyone that Nintendo ignores online play so much.
Reading up on the issue, I found out Nintendo's reasons for that to be that they don't want to do anything online until they can start doing it for free or cheap; they don't believe someone should pay extra to enjoy a game(but then they believe we should pull out 100 bucks to get a gameboy to play Crystal Chronicles and Four Swords.. :p). They said once online play isn't costly for gamers that don't have a job or rich parents, they'd show their "true force" on the matter. I fear the waiting game may leave them with too little too late..
The news of online play being taken out, whether it's true or not, is both good and bad to me, good in the sense that Gamecube can get a version, and bad in the sense that I can't kick the kaiju crap out of anyone else in the states from mine couch.

SG, I'm finding too many contradictions here to justify titling this topic Official OR facts about the game:
"furthermore, each is reported to have more diverse terrain..." If it was a FACT, wouldn't it be simply described as being included?
"CONFIRMED characters: i added the rages i would like to see the creatures have along with more confirmed charcters and data..." (Why alter "Official facts"?)
"Ebirah(non-playable so far)": I really can't see everyone having to go out and purchase an upgraded version of the game to use this element when/if it will be changed later.
"Mecha Godzilla(heisei): shock cables, garuda g crusher blast thingy..."
"Thingy"?! That doesn't sound too "official" to me...
"Downloadable content will be new maps, maybe new kaiju(gamera*hopes*)
options might be included, if there are bugs in the game maybe thee will be patches for them..."
This "report" is sounding less and less "solid" as we go...
"(All information from tohokingdom) if there is anything i missed add"
Wouldn't a LINK to their article have been more appropriate and any wish lists and comments on it be indicated as YOURS? Since this is supposedly coming from other than the manufacturer/provider themselves, THEIR source(s) might also need to be cited. We ran into a similar problem with basically fake "news" in the kaiju forums and I really can't see perpetuating similar situations under cover of such topic titles as "Official facts". It's not doing ANYONE any favors. Please edit the title to more accurately reflect the nature of your post.

Here are some facts I got at www.kaijuhq.org (http://www.kaijuhq.org/)
The game will feature a “Ray Beam Battle”. In this battle, if both monster fire a ray beam at the same time, a scene similar to "Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla II" will occur where you have to press the color of the button of the ray you are using to fight back against the beam. Whoever has the strongest beam will win the beam battle and deal their opponent some awesome damage.
In this game you will be able to actually catch buildings! You can still throw buildings, but this time, if you time it right, you can catch the building and throw it back at your opponent.
New Godzilla Rage: This time, instead of a radioactive pulse, Godzilla roars and unleashes an incredible atomic blast that rocks your opponent.
Electrical towers: At least one city had electrical towers that if you touch them or throw your opponent into them, can cause damage.
Probably the only downside is the barrier field in the first game is in the new game as well.
Just like in Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee, you will start off with a limited amount of available kaiju (this time six). You must battle your way through the game with each kaiju to unlock the others and so on.
Battra, in adult form, will appear in the game as a summonable kaiju.
Thats all I got though.:D To see it go to updates scroll down to G:STE Rundown.

Yes there is a rule about bashing other boards/sites, But MV wasn't bashing, he was simply telling the TRUTH. Just about everyone knows that KHQ has stolen content from our site, Toho Kingdom and numerous other Kaiju sites, its all been proven numerous times. So no MV wasn't bashing KHQ, he was just pointing out a fact about the place.

i think Ebirah shows up about two or three times during the level, he appears to only have close range attacks, the only time i saw him attack godzilla is when he swam just above the green one and smacked him on the head and swam off in the distance, apparntly u can use your beam under water not just fireballs! hehe
