Godzilla Trading Battle Game

Yes, its called &quot;Godzilla Trading Battle Game&quot; and it was put out for the PS1/X in Japan ONLY. If you have a US PS1/X capable of playing Japanese discs, then you can play this game as well.

I have the game and even though I dont read Japanese, its rather quite fun. Its probably my favorite Godilla game.

If your going to try finding it, i'll warn you, its usually rather expensive.

I have heard about this TCG Playstation Kaiju game, with the new kaiju like Razin, Barugaron, etc. Was it just a Japanese game, or has it come out in English?

Also, I am planning on getting one of the tabletop kaiju games that are on display on the Roost, which one would you guys recommend?

It was only released in Japan and it is totally in Japanese. Its actually fun for what I have been able to do with it but I havent had alot of time to play around with it to see if I can really figure it out.

I personally prefer &quot;Monster Island,&quot; but both that and &quot;Giant Monster Rampage&quot; are excellent games. They are both fairly inexpensive so if you can, pick both of them up to see which one suits you better and then use the other one for ideas and reference material.

Its from the video game for Playstation, Godzilla Trading Battle. It is also that monsters only appearance. There are also 4 other brand new monsters in the game. I have it, and its a good strategy game, like a battle card game for the Playstation (think along the lines of Magic or Pokemon but with ALL of the Toho kaiju, even GINO and Magma, etc. and with the new monsters and weapons and vehicles from the War In Space and Atragon, etc.) Anyway, there are more pics of the new monsters at Queen Ghidorah's site.

I don't use designs for kaiju already made for my fan created kaiju. I only use concept art. I don't even allow people to use pics of already made kaiju when they send me a kaiju.

Those screen captures of the "Godzilla Trading Battle Game: Kaiju were done by me. Though I am missing one as I haven't even seen him in the game as of yet.

Queen Ghidorah also has quite a few pictures of those Kaiju as well. I just wish I could get the game to play on my PC like she told me how, it would make getting screen captures of the game so much easier.

and Jeff, I hope you're aware there are some playstation emulators available that allow you to play PS1 games on your PC? you could easily take screenshots with one of those... i've done it before!

Rez is correct, there is no english version of this game, which sucks as its one of the best Godzilla games i've played, or attempted to play not knowing what i'm actually doing, LOL.

Yeah, I need to sit down and look around. I have one that Queen Ghidorah told me about but haven't had any luck with it. I guess I need to sit down and look for another one to use.

Okay it's Godzilla's 50th. Why isn't there a petition for a rerelease of Godzilla Trading Battle? I mean in English, you could still keep it a PS1 game or you could have it redone for the ps2. I mean it's G's 50th and TCG are popular now, it would be fun. And it would give us a chance to play with Razin or Jyarumu.

Either that or a Japanese sequel that factors in the final wars kaiju, mothra 3 kaiju, the original kaiju from the ps1 game(black godzilla(grown junior), godzilla 2062(?), razin, vagnosaurus, shiigan, balkzardan,barukarudon, and jyarumu), meganuron, megauiras, the gmk kaiju, orga, g2k, both incarnations of kiryu, the new mothra from gmmg, and both incarnations of g from gxm and gmmg. Plus new mecha cards, events cards, and such. Maybe even factor in some new original kaiju for the game as well and have a new battle simulation for the kaiju battles.
