Well, maybe it didn't go to Hell, but it certainly got a new face on the message board! Check out the web comics, Survival of the Fittest, and Random Advertisement threads! Make sure you change your bookmarks to the Roost Fighter website, though, because we have a new address!

<font color='#810541'>Things are still pretty hot over in the Roost Fighter boards. Besides a pleothra of new characters planned for the Alpha series (Husnock, Cole Deschain, MothraMan, The Runs, and Jeremy Sand among them), there's also Round Two of the Roost Fighter tournament starting up tomorrow! Plus, there's also the successful round robin "All-Out Free-For-All", a poll for which kaiju should be in RF the most, and another poll on the best way to publicize Roost Fighter.
And for the record, take a look at older threads and bits, such as the various crossover ideas involving Monster Zero, Maser City, and Roostville; the web comics; and other random shtuff. And of course, be sure to read the original Roost Fighter and Roost Fighter II if you haven't done so already.

<font color='#348781'>The last round of the Roost Fighter Tournament is underway. I suggest that you all go and check it out. The final battle is between Demon Eyes Parker and The Dashago Team.
Go into the "Fighter Bios" section and read up on the combatants before you vote and, if you want, read the previous battles that the fighters were into to go into even more depth.
So, who will prevail? You decide.

<font color='#810541'>Indeed, this should turn out to be a good fight. If the Deadites had won the battle against the Dashago things might be a bit easier to decide. But that's is part of the fun, trying to figure out who will win in the end.
The second tournament will be an individual's tournament. That is, no teams, you're all fighting on your own. I hope to get the sign-up for that one started by the end of next week.

We've still got some slots to fill. Even if someone like Husnock, Cole, or Jet Jaguar just walked into the sign-up thread, said "Sign me up", then ran away, that'd be fine with me.

Well, I guess that congratulations are in order for the winning team for the first tournament:
Team Dashago!
I would like to thank everyone who voted for us in the last match (which would be myself and my teamates, thank you) now that we conquered this we shall move on to the next tournament.
I suggest that anyone who has a charecter to join the tournament. and if you don't have a charecter ask Trieze for one and he might give you one. At any rate, join the tournament!

I would like to remind everyone who reads this thread, that you have until tomorrow (Saturday) to sign/get a charecter for the tournament. If you miss the deadline for the tournament, but you still want to join Roost Fighter, then you still can. Just ask Trieze for a charecter.
Join the tournament! Be all that you can be, unless you are turned into a puddle of blood...

Just 4 more days left until the tournament begins, and we have some very good match-ups this time around (better than the slaughters in the first tournament... *thinks back to Steelgods vs Spammerites*).

Damn Bumpapotamusses! The zookeepers told me those things were perfectly content living in cages! :p
Aaanyways, if Husnock is looking, he of course should be proud to be the SNK boss of the Roost Fighter world. ;)

In the words of Shang Tsung from the Mortal Kombat movie: "It haaas beguuun!" If you plan to vote, make sure you check all the fighter data, battlefield info, and ground rules before doing so.

Tournament II has started in a blaze of glory and fire. It's hammertime, so come get your share!
Oh, and if you still have no idea what I'm talking about, head to my site or the RF board pronto and start learning. You might be on the list of casualties waiting to happen...

Just when you thought everyone from Roost Fighter 1 was going to go chew bubble gum after it was all over...
http://roostfighter.kaijuphile.com/rf2.html
I was almost sad to see Roost Fighter II was virtually ignored when it first debuted on the Roost, considering it is a much more epic, better-crafted story than the original RF. Well, I think it's time I gave all you people who read RF but not RF2 a few reasons to read the latter.
1) Chapter 17: Riot of the Blood, Part 1
2) More consistent, better-written, and more mature than RF1.
3) Chapter 17: Riot of the Blood, Part 1
4) The new characters kick serious ***.
5) Chapter 18: Riot of the Blood, Part 2 (coming soon)
6) Three guys from the previous story whom nobody cared about are killed.
7) Chapter 18: Riot of the Blood, Part 2 (coming soon)
