Well this is certainly quite the overkill match. Kamacuras is too small and too fragile for Zigra to even notice, and a hit from his handy-dandy stun ray will turn this battle into unmitigated slaughter. Zigra definitely wins.

Ugh, am I the only one who sees Zigra's chances of winning this tournament as very very good right now?

There are only a handful of kaiju who can defeat him before getting zapped, and a lot of them are probably going to be gone from the tournament in 2nd round by the way the votes are going.

The following kaiju are the only ones who have a chance against Zigra due to Zigra's beam, either due to their mechanicalness or their unique powers that get around the ray... I left out Mechani Kong, as even with immunity to Zigra's beam, he'd still lose IMO.

King Ceesar(Probably advancing)

Jet Jaguar(Probably not advancing...)

Guilala(Of course, Zigra is one of the only kaiju who COULD bring Guilala down, however I am unsure what effect Zigra's beam would have on Guilala, so if this match comes up, I'm possibly going to abstain. Probably going to advance)

G-Force Moguera(Probably not advancing, he currently has 4 votes against him, and none for him.)

Showa Moguera(Probably not advancing)

Dogora(Again, I don't know how he'd react to Zigra's beam, probably advancing.)


So chances are, the list is narrowed down even further to round 2:

That's a total of three kaiju he probably wouldn't defeat in round 2.

Basically, Zigra has A BIG chance of going far in this tournament, and I'll be rooting for him all the way!

Actually I see the final match as between Guilala X Zigra or Guilala X Dogora or Zigra X Dogora... as all three of these kaiju dominate all of the other opponents...

One-on-one battles are what we usually run in these things and at the same size/mass, it boils down to prowess and weapons. Even in packs, I don't think we saw much from these bugs. You can also observe how the real thing operates in this case.
