Hellsing: No offense but I never heard of this one. So I really can't say anything.

But as for these two...

Wolf's Rain: Talk about idiotic. Wolves and robotic tech mixes as good as a 3 year old with a bunch of crayons in a house with huge nice clean white walls. It makes little sense (not in the good way either) and I can hardly think through it with wanted to go out in the woods and kill every damn wolf I can find. I can understand how some people may like it but I think it's about the most boring thing ever...Oh wait there is something more boring...

OH NOOO IT'S...
Witch Hunter Robin: I truly would rather walk in the heart of New York holding huge poster board that says "America Stinks" in big bright red letters than watch this show. That's all I'm saying.

I wish FLCL was still on...That anime ruled. :inlove:

I think I prefer Witch Hunter Robin out of those...I've only heard of Hellsing, but never bothered to watch it, and I hate Wolf's Rain...it's from the people who did Cowboy Bebop? Yeah right...

For those of you who haven't seen Hellsing, I recommend it. Think Vampire Hunter D with a gun.......

I like Demon Lord Dante. I only have vol 1 but vol 2 is on preorder. Come on, the main character dies in the first volume, its sweet.

Heh, Hellsing was the "shiznit." I loved that show (which is saying something, as I'm not much of an anime fan to any degree). Sadly, I missed the first three and final episode(s) when it was being shown by the Action Channel.

Damnit, guess I'm gonna have to hunt up the DVD. Which sucks, as I seem to have a curse where none of the dealers around here ever have the ones I want until months after I've started looking for them. Even if I've already seen them in the stores before...:(

I can't really say I care for any of these... They really just don't do it for me. Hellsing's the best of this lot, I suppose.

And Wolf's Rain is hardly "occult" in the same sense as Hellsing or Witch Hunter Robin. They aren't werewolves, they're annoying wolf-poseur things that can disguise themselves in the illusion of humanity. There is no physical alteration in their bodies.

Inuyasha is more occult than Wolf's Rain.

I'm not much of a fan of those shows either, though if I had to chose I'd guess "Hellsing" with "Wolf" following behind. Like Cole, I'm more of a Inuyasha man myself. Yokai over Vamps, Witches and Distant Future Wolves. Darkcancer, if you catch this could you inlighten us (but namely me) more on Demon Lord Dente?

Demon Lord Dante is a relatively new anime. I'm not to sure about the details, but it features a giant.. demon lord.

There's something about Wolf's Rain that I like, I can't describe it.

However, just because I like it doesn't mean I would recommend it to others, the one there I would recommend is Hellsing. That's some good fun right there that's not as hopelessly intricate as WR, and not as fast-paced-lacking as WH.

Demon lord Dante: The main character, Ryo Utsagi has found out that Demon Lord Dante will try to resurrect himself after being sealed in the Himalayan Mountains. Ryo has nightmares of a terrifying creature attacking him, and then suddenly he develops psychic powers. Those power allow him to hear voices and see visions of women being murdered. When the torment of the voices becomes too much to bear, Ryo follows a voice off the edge of cliff, where he immediately transports to Dante's frozen grave. Once possessed, Ryo must unravel his family mystery, and along the way, deal with Satanic rituals and murders. (most of this is taken from the box)

P.S. I also really like Doomed Megalopolis. It was one of the first anime movies i bought and i have liked it ever since.

Also, it was made by Go Nagi, he has done many demonic seiries (e.i. Devil lady, Devilman) and also Giant robot series (Mazinkaiser). There are more but these are the only ones i could think of off the top of my head.

Well, my sister tells me that Witch Hunter Robin has next to nothing to do with actual Occultism, so I think I'm disallowed to vote for that one. I'll go with Wolf's Rain, though that one does manage to piss me off from time to time too. Symbolism should not be weilded as a blunt object.

Hellsing is the best of the lot. It's got a great story and the characters are nicely done. I only wish it was allot longer than it was, it just seemed like it needed another few episodes to really finish it off.

Wolfs Rain I really like so far. I only have the first DVD but so far the story is quite interesting. They really seem to be going into allot of character development with this one, which is pretty nice. All of the major characters are very different and they are doing a nice job of utilizing them. The animation is also extremely good.

Witch Hunter Robin I have yet to see. I have caught some previews for it and it looks interesting enough but I don't know if it's something I will pick up, mostly because I have to many different series to buy as it is.

I have it as well, but when I did get it I find the next day the same DVD with an artbox. That really ticked me off, and I've been hunting for the box-only eversince.

I think only one DVD came out so far.

Hellsing was a great show with a bunch of badasses from Integra-sama to Walter and Incognito and then there is Alucard one of the biggest badasses of alltime. Hellsing is right up there with Vampire Hunter D when it comes to awesomeness

Witch Hunter Robin was good, but nothing huge for my tastes.

Out of the list, my favoirte is Wolf's Rain, as it's one of my favorite animes and an amazing show to me.

Of occult though, Inuyasha hands down.
