View Full Version : What if you could make a sequel to any Millenium Film?

What would it be? Plotwise I mean.

I personally would like to see a sequel to GMMG. This is a really rough idea so please excuse me:

Godzilla has returned larger and more powerful by absorbing the energy from the Kiryu when it sank to the sea. It is wondered why he has returned. It turns out this Godzilla has been feeding off the energy from undersea uranium deposits and from a wrecked Soviet sub. Now his food source is gone, he turns to Japan.

Meanwhile, (insert name of the anti kaiju forces in here..I forgot what the GMMG timeline anti-kiaju forces were called) research a chemical that has been found in the carcass of a giant mosasaur that washed up on the beach in Indonesia. It turns out a growth chemical was created to make animals giants during WW2 as weapons. The nazis and japanese worked together on this project and they created a small population of gaint apes in the Pacific(as a nod to Toho kong being in the GMMG timeline) and a few giant allosaurs(the origin of Gorosaurus). they even talk about a giant boar that attacked troops en route to slay Frankenstien during FCTW. Turns out the chemical had leaked in certain areas creating monsters like the giant boars, or Ebirah and the Giant Octopus. (Got this idea from Dr Whu's idea in the kaijuologist section). It turns out that this chemical created the ape kaiju Tezuuka(yeah its the name of one of the kiaju dna capsules in Tokyo SOS at the very end..and in the GMMG book with the art of the Mecha Kaiju there looks to be a mecha ape, but more squat than Kong) and the Whu Foundation is trying to recreate it.

The Whu foundation was created by the son of the late Dr whu. he plans to use the chemical, if he can find enough of the substance to replicate it, to end world hunger or so it seems. Turns out, he is using the remains of the chemical to create a new Tezuuka kaiju and has been using a method of control like that used on Kong to control it. He also has cloned another kaiju called Futaami(another GMMG kaiju and in the mecha kiaju pic it looked headless and in another pic with a bunch of embryos..it looked as if were a reptile with a lamprey head) and release them on the public. Why? To get revenge for what he thinks is slander the media has portrayed against his father.

The anti Kiaju forces are deplyed to the mountains. Akane finds out a kaiju called Angilas is the area. It turns out it hatched from a mutant egg that was in a cave that was filled with radon infused water. the hatchling left the cave and eventually was found and raised by a child. the child grew up and became a shrine keeper in his village and Angilas also fed on wild animals and plants contaminated by the growth chemical. Angilas is not a threat to people and only recently has mad himself known to the world. The kaiju also shows a strange mental link with the daughter of the shrine keeper. Akane has a real dilema-doing her job or letting the kaiju go.

The new Mecha Kameba is deployed and Akane begs the anti kaiju forces not to slay Angilas. Angilas deals with the flying Mecha Kameba(for those who didn't see those pics..they were cool) meanwhile Godzilla comes into battle. Earlier in the film he made land fall and the JSDF couldn't deal with him. Turns out Godzilla is coming to feed on the radon water in the area. A three way battle ensues and the mecha is destroyed and Angilas lay unconcious and Godzilla goes to feed.

Whu's men kidnap the daughter of the shrine keeper and Akane. they want to lure angilas to the mountains so Tezzuka and Futaami can slay him and Whu's machines can extract the growth chemical in his body. Godzilla wanders off after feeding and Angilas wakes up and follows the daughter with his psychic link so to speak. The anti kaiju force prepares a daring rescue of the daughter and Akane. While Angilas shows up and Futaami and Tezuuka are sent out. It looks bad for Angilas, but Godzilla comes into battle. Apparentlly to manufacter the growth chemical, large amounts of yellow cake uranium are needed. Godzilla is attracted to it and he joins the fray. Soon after Angilas and Godzilla have to team up against the other two kaiju. In the end Angilas and Godzilla seem to mutually respect each other. Angilas goes home following the jsdf vehicles taking the daughter back home, while Godzilla proceeds on Whu's mansion, destroy it and Whu.

Your plot sounds good. I like the way Angilas is used.

I would continue from GMK.

When Godzilla rises once again to attack Japan, Military leaders decide to imprison Godzilla the same way the thre guardians were imprisoned 2,000 years ago. Nobody knows how the guardians were imprisoned so ths JSDF turns to Yuri due to her past experiences. Her investigation leads her to an uninhabited island in the Pacific.

While on the island, Yuri meets with the fairy twins. The twins agree to help but only after they have extracted Mothra's soul from Godzilla. Yuri takes the twins to Japan where they extract Mothra's soul from Godzilla's body. Mothra's body is reformed and she returns the twins to thier island. Godzilla who passed out during the seperation process reawakens and goes on a rampage.

Yuri returns to fairy island to learn how to imprison Godzilla. The fairies tell her how to imprison Godzilla but he will have to be weakened. Mothra will not help mankind imprison Godzilla as she fears being imprisoned herself but the fairies say they can help another way. They show Yuri an egg recently laib by Mothra. When the guardians battled Godzilla, Mothra's soul became tainted by King Ghidorah's soul. Mothra expelled Ghidorah's taint in the egg.

The egg is hatched and Fairy King Ghidorah emerges (I will descriobe in new and redone kaiju). Yuri rteturns to Japan with FKG in tow. The LSDF sets their plan into motion. Godzilla and FKG battle eachother until Godzilla is imprisoned. FKG flies off into space.

It should be noted that Godzilla attacks Japan several times.

I would like to see a sequal of Godzilla X Megaguirus.
One of the Meganuron survive and starts up another colony. Godzilla fights a new and bigger Megaguirus again but this time he loses and retreats to the see. Also drawn to the Meganuron colony is Rodan since they are one of his food sources. Rodan and Megaguirus fight and they are about equal. But Rodan is wounded since this Megaguirus is bigger. Megaguirus and her swarm cover Rodan. Then Godzilla comes to help Rodan. He first blasts the swarm on Rodan to try and free him, and then Megaguirus comes to fight Godzilla. After they share a few hits, Rodan takes to the sky and together they defeat Megaguirus.
This is only the kaiju part. I didn't feel like writing what the defense force would do or who the main characters are.

Good ideas! Pardon, my asking but where does Rodan come from?

Despite GxM being my personal favorite out of the Millennium series, I see G2K and GMK having sequels. Since Orga's G-cells seem to heal rapidly in the film it was only a matter of time before he would return and since everyone knows about Organizer G-1 other G-clones can be made, SpaceGodzilla or Biollante anyone? And for GMK, a new body will be created around the heart and since this is Kankeo's G, that means that Gamera maybe able to step in since the GMK G is presented as the ultimate evil in the story that would make Gamera the ultimate good and his arch-enemy.

I dunno, when it comes to creating Godzilla stories I usually have my own little universe such as in my video game, TV and film script ideas....:dozing:

Rodan would probably come from a Mountainous region in Japan or maybe an island.

So a mutant? Freed from the dimensional tide or what?

Another idea for a sequel to the GMMg timeline would be something like the original concept of gunhed called "Godzilla vs the Robot Army" but this time the mecha kaiju are freed and Godzilla, 2 adult Mothras, and Angilas have to deal with a rampaging Kiryu II, Cyborg Sanda, Cyborg Gaira, mecha ganime, mecha kumonga, mecha Gorosaurus, and a mecha Varan. And the mecha kiaju are controlled by a computer virus that is a digital expression of the astrobodies from "Yog" that were used in the DNA computer that was created with DNA from Kameba.

I'd make a sequel to "Gojira tai Megaron" for the sake of letting everyone's favourite flying, growing and shrinking mecha make a return! And his smashing theme song ofcourse. XD

G2k. Explain the origin of Godzilla, make it a solo film. More with genetics as the remains of CCI try to create a machine to kill him, and GPN tries controling him.

godzilla vs megalon is a showa film not a millenium film. hey zigra or clint should say something about this.

I think Rodan would be a mutant. His origin would be explained the same way as Godzilla's except he was not seen until then. He would be a little shyer but still a good fighter.

Ah! Back to my blue letters! If I could make a Shinsei film, I would base the story off of the one a firend and I are writing for our G-movie/book. But, because it isn't finished, and I don't want people taking my ideas, I'll keep it to myself... :darklord:

Sorry, I couldn't resist. XD But personally I don't find that any shinsei movies need any more sequels. o.o The best one in my opinion, GMK is a concluded story in any case.

I'd make a sequal to Godzilla, Mothra, MechaGodzilla called...

Godzilla, Mothra, MechaGodzilla, King Ghidorah: Japan Burns or something like that...

Millions of years ago, a space dragon came to earth named King Ghidorah. He killed the dinosaurs, but was banished back to space by Mothra...now he has returned...

It would be two years after Kiryu and Godzilla dissapeared, and the larva left. But what they didn't know is that one of the larva got serious internal injury from that tail bite and slam, and that one died. The other larva has turned into an adult.

The Japanese government made a new MechaGodzilla, this time, with out the bones. It would be more powerful and stronger, with a new Quad Maser, capture capables on the hands, and missile finguers. It would be called, Kiryu 2. It would also have flight capablilities. Another year goes by, and a meteor crashed down in Osaka, awakening a near bye sleeping Godzilla. The three headed monster, King Ghidorah, of Infant Island legend, rises up, and attacks. Godzilla bursts from the sea and attacks, sence Godzilla sees this land as his. The military sends Kiryu, and Kiryu and Godzilla see each other. Godzilla is preparing to attack Kiryu, but Ghidorah attacks both of them. Godzilla is blown back into the sea, and Kiryu is damaged. King Ghidorah then flies off. The Shobijin arrive at Japan, and tell the military and government that Mothra will help, but she will also need help from MechaGodzilla, and Godzilla.

Miles away from Japan, Godzilla is healing his wounds and preparing to fight King Ghidorah, until he notices Mothra flying above him. Godzilla follows, and MechaGodzilla is waiting on the beach. Godzilla bursts from the sea in anger, and attacks Mothra and Kiryu. A fight takes place, and Godzilla is injured. As the shobijin told the pilots not to finish Godzilla because King Ghidorah is coming for revenge on all three. Mothra flys over Kiryu as the golden dragon comes into view. King Ghidorah lands, and Mothra and MechaGodzilla attack. MechaGodzilla loses his right arm, and Mothra is blown back into a huge building.

Godzilla then rises again, and attacks Ghidorah from behind, and MechaGodzilla joins in as Godzilla holds him. MechaGodzilla then fires his back pack and wrist launchers, blowing holes in Ghidorah's wings. Mothra flys in, and Godzilla backs off as Mothra uses her explosive powder, and Godzilla fires his ray in it, making it explode and cover Ghidorah in fire.

King Ghidorah the blasts Mothra with gravity beams, blowing her left wing off, making her slam into the ground. King Ghidorah walks over preparing to finish off Mothra, but the mother Mothra from GMM laid two eggs with noone knowing, just incase Ghidorah did attack again. The egg hatches, and ONE larva Mothra makes its way to the fight.

Godzilla and MechaGodzilla then attack again, King Ghidorah fights back, but their power knocks him back, and Mothra Larva comes in. The Larva goes over to his half sister, saddened that she will die. Mothra tries to move, but she can't. In the mean time, Godzilla and Kiryu are holding off Ghidorah, until Ghidorah shows a new move, and combines his beams, blowing both MechaGodzilla and Godzilla back. King Ghidorah walks over to the wounded Mothra, and finishes her off with the power gravity beam. The Larva screams in anger, and attacks, but she is no match for king of terror. As Mothra starts to use his webs, Godzilla and Kiryu walk in, and start to use their strengths together. Godzilla fires his ray and Kiryus uses the Quad Maser, and Ghidorah's middle head and neck is blown off. King Ghidorah tries to escape, but Mothra has to much web on him, and he crashes to sea. Kiryu and Godzilla continue the attack, and King Ghidorah blows up.

After Ghidorah's death, Kiryu and Godzilla stare at each other, and Godzilla turns around, and MechaGodzilla flys back to base. Mothra goes to water with the Shobijin...

You know, I'm not really sure that I'd make a sequel to any of the Millenium films. I hate G2K and I'm not too hot on GxM either, so I wouldn't bother making sequels to either of them. GMK, love it or hate it, worked best as a one-shot movie. Now, I could probably make a sequel to GMMG, but even then the main story arc of that timeline has run it's course. Hmm....

Monster Master: Excellent idea. However, you might want to rethink the Mothra aspect a tad bit. In the Showa/GMMG timeline, Mothra (along with the Shobijin) is suppose to be a mutation resulting from the constant nuclear testing on Infant Island. She isn't an ancient guardian of the Earth like in the ROM trilogy. Perhaps you can think of another monster that would be good as an Earth guardian (Seesar?). Hope that helps:)

Well...the Shobijin were alive back then...I think. So lets just say it was them who stopped Ghidorah a while back...

Godzilla X Mothra X MechaGodzilla X King Ghidorah is my dream movie, I really want it to happen.

I'd probably make a sequel to Tokyo S.O.S. I'll probably have some terrorist group get ahold of Kiryu, and they use him as a weapon. This really ticks off Mothra and she wages war against humanity. While all this happens, Godzilla wakes up and begins to destroy again.

i would make a sequel and it would have bagan in it'cause they were going to have a movie with bagan but because of budget they had to shut it down. And they would have the final fight in china. i dont know if godzilla could beat the super bagan though. but it would be a big time hit. it would be right after godzilla x mechagodzilla(kiryu).

Alrighty I have a couple Idears for this :)

My first is for Godzilla, Mothra, King Ghidorah

After the gaurdians war against him, Godzilla has been seemingly in remission, and according to the world dead, however Death is far from permanant for him as long as his heart still beats. The Spirit powered menace returns more powerful than before and eradicates an unsuspecting village, the news of Godzilla's reaperrance quickly envelopes the world, as Japan quickly mounts another attack with the DO3 Missles, this time they are unable to successfully do any major damage with them, Godzilla destroys the Defense force on numerous occasions as his rampage continues, his return to Tokyo appears eminant.

The same mysterious old man from the last film returns as well, this time urging the summoning of the Blasphemous ones, demonic entities that were created in the aftermath of the gaurdian monsters destruction, though he admits they are dangerous, their threat is much less than that of Godzilla, the Japanese government takes his advice realizing just how true his prophecies were last time.

The first Blasphemous one now rests within the bottom of a lake, the Defense force goes there with the prophet to awaken it, once the beast is awoken pure terror ensues, the freed soul of Baragon was attacked and perverted by the demonic influence of the dreaded Obaki of legend, the merged spirtual creature then took physical form, a massive reptillian entity, complete with venomous fangs, and foul sulfur odor, the pure black Blasphemous gaurdian is dubbed Varan, the creature proceeds to decimate most of the forces stationed to awaken it, few including the prohpet survive.

The Monster Varan's Baragon side steadily draws him to Godzilla but the Obaki side causes him to lay waste to anythign he passes along the way.

The 2nd one is released only after Godzilla completely levels Osaka, and the thought of this happening to Tokyo is the onyl reason another is freed.

The Soul of Mothra was badly perverted from immense suffering caused to her by Godzilla, it was even easier for her being to be tampered with by dark forces, as another influence merged with her in a similar mannor to Baragon and the Obaki however this influence was not an evil one and it was infact the peversion in Mothra's own soul that caused the true creation of this blasphemous one. The result is a Massive Spiked Reptillian Insect with glowing red Multifaceted eyes, the Earths executioner Battra, the beast is also drawn to Godzilla like Varan but instead of laying waste to everything in its path, it targets are specific, Nucleur Power Plants, and other hazzards to the environment,

The third is released without authorization by the Prophet and a rebelling agent, this one has to be released by sacrifice though, and the prophet seemingly offerse himself however he tricks the agent and slaughters him resulting inthe summoning of the most powerful and dark of the Blasphemous ones, the mighty Death Ghidorah, formed by the bitter soul of the betrayed agent, Ghidorah's fury due to defeat at the hands of Godzilla, and the hundreds dead souls being created by the other two blasphemous ones.
The massive three headed brute also storms towards Godzilla however the agent side of the beast holds revenge for his death in mind over GOdzilla's destruction and plots to kill the Prophet afterwards, Ghidorah's more in control of the body however is actually under the prophets control! After Godzilla's destruction Death Ghidorah well be set loose upon the other Blasphemous ones and then the world!

Had this plan been the Prophets, all along? Even when the original three gaurdians were first summoned?

A new situation arrises when the defense force discover that godzilla reappaerance could have been stopped or at least been readied for as the newly formed CCI, actually discovered the pulsating heart of the beast re growing nearly 2 years earlier! If this wasn't enough they also sighted a fully recovered Godzilla a few month prior to this attack.

What is their alterior motive and how does it compare and Contradict to that of the Prophet?

The four beast converge on Tokyo for yet another show down, how will the JSDF deal with the damage it helped cause and more importantly, which of these for evils is actually the lesser? Godzilla the enraged Atomic Behemoth of WWII souls? Battra the Earths reaper of vengeance? Varan the Venomous plague? Death Ghidorah the destroyer of innocence?

I'll post my other one later

The unused script for Tokyo SOS interested me. It was set years into the future where Kiryu was worshipped as a god for defeating Godzilla. The world was in a state of decay and people were like the people of Zion from the Matrix movies. Then I also liked the idea of the mecha army. I'd combine those ideas and would Godzilla fight and defeat the mecha army, then when all hope seems lost and Godzilla closes in on humanity's already destroyed civilization to finally purge it from the face of the earth, have Kiryu rising from the seas after all these years. His armor would show signs of obvious wear from the sea, seaweed, etc., (almost symbolic scars) but he would still fight. In the end, Kiryu would be victorious. Then there would be a scene that closely mirrors Gojira with the people of Odo Island. At the end, a familiar dark roar is heard as Kiryu dives under the black waves.

I think I'd do a sequal to the Kiryu films. One idea that I have is to have them build a new Mechagodzilla, but like monster master said, without the first Godzilla's bones. And, instead of using Godzilla's cells to create this Mechagodzilla's DNA computer brain, they use cells from a human being who had donated his body to science before his death. With human DNA at the root of this new Mechagodzilla's brain, the machine has more of a connection to humanity and isn't likely to go berserk. Plus, they won't have to worry about Godzilla taking offence and coming back to do more damage.

At the same time there are others who are experimenting with the techniques that were used to create Kiryu. Despite the problems that occured with Kiryu, the machine was an overall success, so there are those who want to take that technology even further. They create a pair of cyborgs, one named Gigan and one named Megalon. They prove to be potent fighting machines, but they also prove to be more living creatures than machines, and ultimately impossible to control. The two cyborgs go berserk, animal instinct combining with computer data to create a pair of living nightmares. It will be up to the new Mechagodzilla to stop their reign of terror.

An alternate version of this story would have them create Jet Jaguar instead of a new Mechagodzilla. If you're going to use DNA from a human as the nucleus for a new DNA computer brain, why not give it a more humanoid body. It's just that I liked Kiryu's design and I'd like to bring it back for more. Plus, I wonder if Mechagodzilla would make a more effective star for a new series of films than Jet Jaguar, because the idea would be for either of these two to be the star of this series.

In either case, I would use this timeline as a springboard to introduce new versions of old Toho monsters, as well as new monsters. It would be up to either Mechagodzilla or Jet Jaguar to contend with these monsters.

How does this look?
