I don't know how many anime fans here know this, but there's now a dedicated anime TV network. It's still in it's infancy and probably very difficult to get (my cable provider doesn't carry it). But hopefully it will grow until we can all watch anime 24 hours a day...which might not be such a good thing, depending. http://www.kaijuphile.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif
Here's the website: The Anime Network (http://www.theanimenetwork.com/index.html)
Another site said that remastered episodes of Robotech will begin airing sometime this year.

If you have COMCAST digital cable, then you have Anime Network, cuz it's on OnDemand. It's not really a channel, just a virtual library of shows you can watch, that gets updated once a week or so. It's awesome though. Also, they'll only show ADV titles, because ADV owns it.

According to a press release, it's going linear in June, meaning regular cable. I'm sure it would be a premium channel, but still. Hopefully ADV will reach agreements with other distributors to air their stuff. While ADV does have an extensive catalog to choose from, it would be a shame if it all amounted to an extended commercial for their products.

<font color='#32CD32'>My brother found this. He said that it was on OnDemand but didn't cost anything, unlike movies.

I only have the network through Time Warner's On Demand service, but thanks to it I've come to find some new shows of enjoyment, Steam Detectives, Sakura Wars, Chobits and Final Fantasy Unlimited which isn't as serious as say FF7 or FF10 and with that said its whimsical in a US cartoon sort of way, but fun non the less. Plus I like the Master Mushroom character. Also, if the actual channel is like the on demand service, episode of Dai-Guard will be shown, which is one of my most favorite and toughly light hearted but extremely enjoyable animes out there. Basically its the salayrman sitcom meets giant monsters vs. robots.

Just read at FUNimations official site that they are researching the possibility of starting up their own anime theme network. Go to www.dragonballz.com (http://www.dragonballz.com) for info, if your interested.

Think it'd be better if they all joined forces for one cool channel. I mean we're gonna have Anime Network which will flooded with garbage, because ADV has an enormous collection of such, and then FUNIMATION's channel, which will be loaded with Dragon Ball Z and Yu Yu Hakusho episodes we've seen a bazillion times. Maybe if they picked up tokusatsu like Masked Rider, and wanted to show Toho flicks, I'd be more interested.
