'62 Toho Kong vs. Cykor

Let's try this one out. The '62 Toho Kong against Korea's bad boy. The setting is Osaka. Cykor's arm is already gone and he can use his tentacles.

He can just fire his fire balls at Kong, even if he gets powered by Cykor's energy bolts...and uh...there not electric based...at least I don't think...

We don't know anything about the makeup of Cykors tail ray. There is no proof that Kong could absorb it, although by DD rules, he still is powered up.

It doesn't really matter, because as TZ has proven in the other thread, Cykor isn't a slouch in melee, and he had Yonggary on the ropes for most of the battle. If it had not been for human interferance, he would have won.

Not to mention Cykor's fireballs would obliterate Kong with a couple of hits. This fight is pretty unbalanced.

Still, Cyker does not use his electrical beam unless he really needs to.
And we do not know if there is a limit as to how strong Kong can get.

With this is mind, even a powered-up Kong like he was against Godzilla would never be able to destroy Cyker!

Well that's true.
If Cyker has his claws though, which are EXTREMELY strong, he would own Kong. Toho Kong has trouble with tentacles too, judging from the way he a hard time getting the small Odako off of his head.

But not in distance or fire power. And I still see no proof they are electrical beams. So even if they power him, he can do what he do to Yonggary, a point blank fire ball blast. Kong can't stand many of them.

I agree that Cykor will probably own Kong in the end, but if the energy from those tentacles is indeed electrical, things will be very evened out in terms of hth combat. That's pretty signifigant, considering Cykor prefers hth combat over using projectiles.

As far as Kong having problems with tentacles, keep in mind that was before his power-up.

Cykor might give Kong a power boost, but I think Cykor still takes it in the end. i really can't imagine Kong taking this one, even if he did get a much-nneded boost. Cykor may be pathetic from time to time, but this battle is his.
