Godzilla Junior vs. Battra Adult

Godzilla Junior - 70 meters tall

versus

Battra Adult - 110 meter wingspan

Hmm....this is the adult, who is substancially weaker than the larvae form.

But this Battra also has the huge advantage of flight, and multiple lasers. Then again I think Junior could easily blast a hole through those fragile wings of Battras.

This is tough. Ill wait and see more opinions lol.

But most likely Junior will take it.

Then I guess I imagined the part in Godzilla vs Mothra when Battra and Mothra were carrying Godzilla out to sea, and Godzilla lifted his head to blast a hole through Battras wing.

Also Godzilla gnawed a chunk of Battra's flesh in his neck indicating that Battra has a very weak point. Imagine if Junior's ray hit that spot- it was a miracle that his father didn't hit it in 1992!

Godzilla Junior is fast enough to blast Battra down from the sky, run up to the Battra on the ground, and starting biting away.

Battra in adult form may be weaker than Larval form but he's still strong enough to take Junior.He gave his pops a rough time and Battra doesn't ease up on beams so I'm sure Battra would win.

Thats true, but Junior took on an almost fully evolved Destoroyah, even while he had a large HOLE in his chest. Junior is one damn tough cookie. He is, afterall, Godzilla Heisei, only a some odd years younger.

As far as I am concerned, Junior is a chip off the old block, and would take Battra after a mediocre battle.

Funny story, his father did hit it. The entire face, once. Didn't do a thing, not even a roar of discontent. Goji did damage because of his jawpower inbetween the head and the thorax, a blast like goji's can't do the same kind of pressurizing armor-breaking damage.

I guess you did...I never remember seeing that part, but I will go back and check. If I am wrong, which I could be, then I don't know why I never saw that part before, since I only remember Godzilla blasting at Battra's neck.

I watched the movie last night. Godzilla blasts at Battra's wing, but I didn't see any pieces flying out of it, and when they fell, no hole in the wing. The only wings I have ever seen Godzilla blow holes into was King Ghidorah's and Mech-King Ghidorah's wings.

Well, it's quite obvious that Battra's wings were weakened when they got hit with the ray. And Junior seemed to use his ray even more often than his father did! And did you notice how weak ADULT Battra's beams are when you watched the movie? They barely even damaged a building! They may have just a minor effect on Junior.

I don't think Battra made a roar of discontent when Godzilla chewed his throat area either.... Battra doesn't seem to express pain unlike Mothra and Godzilla. It's possible that it damaged it- maybe even softened it up so Godzilla could gnawed a nice chunk of it off.

Don't you find it odd that Godzilla's ray wiped out MKG's armor in his wings, causing the cyborg to fall into the ocean?

They didn't seem weakened. That blast was after Godzilla bit Battra's throat, so the blast just finished him off. Battra's Prism Beams seemed strong to me. If I remember correctly,a blast destroyed the bridge, and a couple of them made a building fall on top of Godzilla? Or didn't they push Godzilla back into the building? ( Not totally sure on which happened) Now I know Battra's Prism Beams aren't as strong as Godzilla's heat ray, but they are good enough.

Battra would win because, Godzilla's atomic breath didn't have much of an effect on Battra so Jr.'s won't either. Battra has armored skin too, except its neck, but overall Battra triumphs.

Er, yes he did cry out when attacked at the neck. He even made out a final cry when his "lights" went out and he finally died.

Not really.

The kaiju are supposed to get stronger as the series cumulates, it's a basic formula, that to me, seemed to be going by perfectly(king ghidorah, then mothra, then mechagodzilla, then, spacegodzilla, then destroyah). I'm very sure Mothra or Battra could have defeated MKG.

I think Junior might win, but Battra can and will put up a fight. Junior was strong enough to take on Flying Form Destroyah, I imagine he could hold Battra wll enough. And he has regen, or what little of it, to aid him in this battle: and that's still an advantage.

This is a hell of a close fight. I lean just a bit towards Battra KOing Junior and winning that way.
