Biollante vs. Legion

A very very long way from the planet earth, there is another green planet but reasonably smaller than the planet we call home. We find a very large jungle off planets not much unlike the plants found on earth. It is slowly progressing toward night on this planet, but this planet had a relatively short night time, roughly around 4 hours. As the noises of the jungle begin to quite a bright light begins to fill the sky. A large meteor has thrown itself from the depths of space toward this small planet. As the rock enters the atmosphere the ground begins to shake from the incredible speed of the rock. The incredible heat of the rock creates a wake of charred and withered trees behind it. The rock smashes into the throwing large chunks of rock into the sky, permanently scarring the landscape. A huge plume of dust begins to blanket a large portion of the planets sky.

After several days the sky begins to return to normal and the dust settles back down to the planet. Now where there once use to be a beautiful jungle there is a barren waste land with a large crater right in the middle of it. There seems to be no reminisce of the meteorite left inside of the crater. Meanwhile on another section of the planet a strange glowing yellow powder begins to fall from the sky on to the planet. After about a minute of the powder falling it suddenly stops and the ground begins to tremor. Large cracks begin to shoot through the ground as the ground begins to split open. Several tentacle like vines begin to rise from the ground, followed by a very large creature. The creature looks like a very large wilted plant, it also has some visual characteristics of Godzilla. This creature is the immortal plant kaiju called Biollante.

A day later and back on the other side of the planet where the meteor crashed, there is now a very large plant-like organism. Around the base of the plant there are hundreds of insect like creatures moving about. The insects about the size of humans, are sifting through the dirt around the base of plant. The bugs start to pull the silicon out of the planets soil. In turn releasing high quantities of oxygen into the air, making the area around plant very flammable. After several hours of the bugs absorbing silicon, the air is at a very dangerously high level. The small bugs suddenly stop what they are doing and begin to move toward the base of the plant. Then the top of the plant begins to open up revealing a large flower. The bugs disappear into the mass of twisted vines at the very base of the plant. Several hours begin to pass, as the plant towers motionless of the barren crater. Then over the horizon a large object can be seen slowly pulling herself toward the flower.

As the large creature becomes closer it shows itself as Biollante. The small insects begin to flood from the plant and rush the on coming attacker. Most of the swarm of insects stops about 500 feet from the flower, and about 10 rush forward to test this foe. Biollante see this small recon group approaching her. Two of Biollante's flow forward through the ground to intercept the insects. The small bugs still charging for the plant, are suddenly stopped as two large tentacles shot from the ground right in front of them. Taking advantage of the surprise attack, one of the tentacles quickly sweeps down across the group hitting all but one of the bugs, killing them on contact and sending there bodies flying through the air. The one remaining quickly lunges for the tentacle that killed his comrades. But the only tentacle quick smashes down onto of the but impaling it before it has the chance to inflict any kind of damage. Biollante retracts its tentacles back toward her body and continues its advance toward the plant. After seeing what has become of there fellow insects the rest begin to move toward Biollante, but before they manage to get to far. A strange sound begins to resin ate from the ground and the bugs stop and begin to move back toward the plant.

As the bugs disappear below the plant again, Biollante stops about 100 feet from the plant, rears its head up and lets out a loud roar. Suddenly a large leg like object shots from the ground to the side of Biollante and goes right into the side of its neck. Biollante screams with pain as a type of green fluid flows from around the object buried deep into its neck. Several tentacles shot up and wrap around the limb and pull it out of Biollante's neck, after the object is out the wound is almost completely healed on account of having a naturally high regeneration speed and having Godzilla's regenerative cells. Biollante begins to slowly pulls herself around as a very large insect explodes from the ground. This large bug is some what similar to the smaller insects but noticeable different, this large insect is named Legion. Biollante tries to gain the upper hand by attempting to take a huge bite out of Legion. But Legion manages to react quicker and fires one of his back legs into the Biollante's mouth and out the back of her head. Biollante lets out a very muffled wail of pain, Biollante begins to flail its head back and forward to try from the intense pain. Biollante's tentacles wrap around the leg and begin to pull it out, due to the almost acid like compounds of his blood some of the leg is eaten away. Allowing the tentacles to easily pull it out, as the leg is pulled from the back off his mouth Biollante snaps its mouth down. The power of Biollante's jaw easily snaps the exo-skeleton of Legion. Legion squeals with pain, and Biollante rips its head back and tears the leg off at the knee. Legion hops back to what he she believes to be a safe distance, and begin to look over the situation at hand.

Legion begins to look around a little and looks at the flower and then back at Biollante. Legion suddenly reveals a pair of wings, jumps into the air and quickly flies off. Some what confused by what the hell has just happened Biollante turns its attention toward the flower again. Slowly moving closer toward it, Biollante notices the very high level of oxygen in the air. Biollante's tentacles begin to raise up toward the plant and begin to feel the large bloom. The flower slowly starts to glow and it begins to get very hot to the touch. Feeling like something bad is going to happen Biollante, starts to back away from the plant as the glow from it becomes brighter. The heat from the flower has become almost unbearable to Biollante, and as a nature reaction to defend its source the tentacles rise up and join together to create a shield. Then suddenly the flower sparks and the mass amount of oxygen in the air creates a gain explosion. The shield of vines created by Biollante is instantly incinerated from the heat and power of the blast. Biollante screams with pain as her body is absorbed into the fiery blast of the flower, the body of the large plant beast slowly burns in the intense flames and heat. Biollante slowly burns on the inside and out as her blood evaporates before it even leaves her body, her eyes begins to bubble up and explode. The creatures large heart begins to inflate like a balloon, until it swells to almost twice its original size and explodes throwing chucks of its heart in blood into the air, which are quickly burned up by the heat. The remains of Biollante slowly burn up in the flaming nova of the explosion. The only thing remaining are small glowing particles that float up into the sky and disappear.

Several days later, some smoldering remains of Biollante and the flower can still be seen. Still some pockets of high oxygen floating in the air, that where not enveloped by the large explosion. A small patch of ground begins raising up, and then back down. Then a small Legion soldier breaks through the ashy dirt of the crater. Several more break through the ground also, even more begin showing up. After time a total of around 1,000 Legion soldiers are digging through the ground looking for silicon. 4 hours after the soldiers show up, they begin to fan out from the center of the crater. The ground begins to tremor very violently and it begins to crack. Suddenly several large vines come out of the ground followed by another large un flowed plant. The Legion is trying to get its seed into space again. Minutes after the plant appears the Legion mother arrives to watch over the plant, to ensure nothing goes wrong this time. More time pass and the plant bud seems to be taking more time to flower. The Legion mother releases more of its soldiers from its chest cavity to speed the process. Night begins to fall and a story can be seen in the distance heading toward the plant. After about three more hours the plant has finally blossomed into a flower and the storm is now over top of the plant. A heavy rain begins to fall and light and thunder can be heard in to distance. As the rain begins to fall one small gold glowing object falls from the sky. Then another and another until hundreds begin to fall, until they hit the ground and disappear. The Legion mother looks toward the sky not sure of what is happening right now, she doesn't know weather to take it as a thread of just and odd weather phenomenon that only happens on the planet. All of a sudden the gold objects stop falling and it suddenly becomes very quite. The ground begins to quake violently and the ground begins to split around the rim of the crater.

A bunch of tentacle like vines rise from the ground some with mouths, and some with none. Then a large explosion throwing tons of dirt and rock into the air creating a huge cloud. The dust hinders the view of the Legion, making it unable to see what is causing all of the commotion. The Legion mother screeches and all of the Legion soldiers stop what they are doing. One of the Legion soldiers walks into the dust cloud, a minute passes and the insect has not returned yet. The dust begins to settle a large dark outline can be seen moving around in the cloud. More of the dust disappears and the creature in the dust is Biollante, with a tentacle holding a Legion soldier above Biollante's opened mouth. The tentacle releases its hold on the Legion soldier, and it begins to fall into Biollante's mouth. Biollante quickly snaps its mouth closed and the snapping and cracking of the Legion soldier's exo-skeleton getting crushed echoes from the corners on Biollante's mouth. After see what has become of there brother in, the rest of the soldier's blindly rush into battle. Realizing what the swarm could do to her Biollante opens its mouth and a spray of acid flows from the back of her throat, upon the on coming wave of foes. The acidic spray covers the whole group of Legions soldiers, The acid is so powerful that it almost completely burns through the exo-skeleton of the Legion soldiers on contact. The Legion soldiers begins to run about franticly from the intense pain of the acid, there bodies begin to liquefy from the power of the acid. After only less than a minute the entire group of almost 1,000 Legion Soldiers has been reduced liquid and very small pieces of exo-skeleton. Shocked by what has just happened to her brood and the reappearance of something she thought was dead. The Legion mother hastily makes her way toward Biollante.

A group of Biollante's tentacles begins to join together to form one large pointed vine. The large vine quickly darts toward the on coming Legion. The lightening speed of Biollante's vines gives Legion no time to react. The grouped vine barrels right through the chest of the Legion beast, even Legion's thick exo-skeleton does little against the power of the plant's vines. The power of the hit stops Legion dead in its tracks, Legion lets out a loud cry of pain. With the vines still in Legions chest, Biollante begins to twist the vines to the left and right, causing even more pain for Legion but also causing the vines to leak some of Biollante's acidic blood. The acid of its blood not being as strong as the acid spat from its mouth, cause it to take longer to eat away at the areas around the hole caused by the vines. Legion quickly separates the horn on its head and fires an electric beam down at the vines, severing them before they can cause anymore damage. Before Legions has a chance to recover from the last attack, another of Biollante's tentacles pierces through the right side of the split horn. The tentacles goes through far enough so it can also wrap around the part of the horn also. Biollante roars in excitement, Legion takes this opportunity and begins to power and electro shot. Apparently the tentacle through the right horn has damaged it enough to disable it. Legion fires a shot, hitting the bottom inside tip of Biollante's mouth and dragging it up almost to the top of his lower jaw, splitting his lower jaw right down the middle. Biollante screams with pain as the blast didn't cause much blood lose but a lot of pain.

Biollante's tentacle is still sticking through the side of Legion's horn, Biollante's tentacle begins to pull on the horn. Biollante intends to rip the right half of the horn off before Legion brings it back together. Three more tentacles are sent toward the right side of the horn to assist the lone vine. The tentacles wrap around each other to strengthen it, they also wrap around the horn to give more pulling power. Legion pulls his head back to try and fight from getting pulled toward Biollante. Despite Legions efforts the ground below its feet gives way, and the large insect slowly begins getting drug toward the large mutant plant. Legion can feel the fibers, muscles, and bone connecting its horn to its head beginning to tear and break. Legions still continues to fight despite to get away for the large jaws of Biollante, that are a mere 50 yards away. Legion begins to hear a faint hissing noise coming from her horn. Legion realizes that if this goes on anymore that it wont be able to spread its horn apart anymore, it can't risk losing anymore of the pressurized gas in its head. In a last ditch effort, Legion jerks its head back in hopes to break the vines wrapped around his head. Unfortunately it doesn't work the tentacles are to tightly wrapped around the part of the horn. The sudden jerk to the horn causes it the horn to become very loose, and the horn slowly gets ripped from the side of Legion's head. Legion whales with pain and bows hit head down from the sudden pain, Biollante takes this opportunity and stretches his head forward opens its mouth and clamps on the very tip of the other half of Legion's horn. Biollante quickly opens its mouth and then closes it again burying its teeth into the bone so the horn doesn't slip out the wound in its lower jaw. Legions squirms around trying to dislodge the horn from Biollante’s mouth but its teeth are too far into its horn. Biollante quickly jerks its head to the left and manages to rip the horn out the side of the insects head. Legions whales with pain again and slowly droops its head down, the light from its eyes slowly fades and it stops moving. Biollante spits the horn from its mouth and its tentacles let go of the one they are holding on to.

Biollante stands ready for Legion to return to her feet, but several minutes pass and nothing happens. Assuming that her foe has be vanquished Biollante turns her back and begins to move away from the body of the giant bug. Suddenly Biollante feels a terrible pain quickly shoot from the back of her body to the front. She grunts with pain and looks down to see several very thin red energy whips sticking through the front of her body. The tentacles disappear into her body and then get yanked out her back, Biollante starts to turn around to see what has assaulted her. Before she gets turned all the way around one of the red whips crashes right through her eye. The red whip embeds itself into the muscle behind her eye and flails about inside of her right eye ripping up the optic nerves and the outer layers of her eye. Blood cascades down the side of her face as one of her tentacles wraps around the red whip. But since the whip is made of energy it burns the tentacle, the tentacle retracts from the pain. Biollante tugs its head away from the whip, causing it to dislodge from the side of her head. The whip retract back to its source, Biollante turn to look with its good eye, and see that her foe Legion was merely faking its own death. The red whips seem to be coming from the same area as the lightening blast, but apparently Legion cannot use his lightening without his horns.

Legion chest area begins to bulge and move. Suddenly hundreds of small Legion soldiers emerge from Legion. Unfortunately Biollante is too close to the large insect to do anything to prevent the on coming assault. As a natural reflex Biollante’s tentacles throw themselves up and create a wall to block the pests. Some of the soldiers hit the collide with the wall and fall to the ground, but most of them circle around the barrier and attach themselves to the body of Biollante. The insects begin to eat away at the body of the large plant. Biollante begins to squirm around and thrash its body with its tentacles to get the Legion soldiers off of its body. Although despite its efforts it can’t seem to keep the bugs off its body. With every insect removed from the plants body more manage to take its place. The naturally acidy blood of Biollante its flowing at a great enough rate from its wounds to do any real damage to its attackers. With Biollante’s body covered with Legion soldiers and the hundreds of small wounds really starting to *** up. Biollante realizing if it doesn’t do something quick the fight might take a turn for the worse. Biollante lifts his head up straight up at the sky and begins to bellow large amounts of acid into the air. The acid starts to rain back down onto Biollante and all of the bugs on her. The acid begins to coat the bugs and eat away at them, causing death in a matter of seconds. The bugs tumble off of Biollante’s body, until hundreds of lifeless bodies or rather what is left of there bodies pile up around Biollante. Followed soon by the cascading flow of acid, which because of the way Biollante is. The acid does little or no real damage to her body.

Quickly before Biollante can get a chance to do any counter attacks, Legion fires it laser whips right at Biollante’s chest. Legions very quickly uses it whips to cut away the vines that are covering a large sack in the plants chest. Legion ***** one of its back feet around and thrusts toward the exposed sack. Being as there is no way for Biollante to avoid the attack, two of her tentacles shot out and wrap around the limb to try and stop it. Although Legion’s legs are the most powerful limbs on its body, several more tentacles join and try to stop Legion’s leg. But all its does is slows it down, so some of Biollante’s mouthed tentacles go forward and begins to spit acid on the leg in attempts to disable it or destroy it. Unfortunately the exoskeleton of Legion’s leg is too think and the acid does not eat through the leg fast enough. In one last ditch effort on of the tentacles coils its way up to the face of Legion and spits acid at her. Legions screeches and flails its head around to get the acid off of her face. Legion’s whips wrap around that tentacle and constrict cut it into several pieces. Frustrated by what has just happened, Legion throws all of its weight forward into its extended limb. The amount of power that was put into its leg causes all the tentacles that where wrapped around it to snap. The leg flies forward at a great speed and it pierces the large red sack. Green acidic blood flies everywhere almost coating Legions body. Biollante arches its whole body in pain, and lets out a terrible god offal scream as a large quantity of blood shoots from her mouth. Biollante’s whole body begins to quiver from the massive amount of pain. Legions not quiet satisfied with what she has done, push even harder with her tentacle and completely impales it through Biollante, then quickly pulls its leg to the right and tears its leg out of the right side of Biollante. Biollante lets out another loud cry of pain as her body shifts to the right because of the large chunk missing out of the right side of her body. The massive amount of blood lose and the destruction of her “heart sack” Biollante realizes that she no longer can regenerate herself anymore. Biollante begins convulsing as she is unable to support the top half of her body. She begins to fall forward and crashes into the ground face firsts, burying some of her face into the ground.

Legion also badly damaged from the fight slowly moves in to deliver the final blow. Suddenly a reddish glow out of the corner of her eye get her attention. She looks over and sees that the flower that was planted before the fight with Biollante has already budded and is about to explode. Legion turns away from Biollante, expands its wings and readies herself for her escape. Suddenly several tentacles warp around Legion’s wings, legs and her body. Legions stills tries to fly to escape to flowers explosion, but there are too many tentacles and there grasp is to strong. The tentacles slam Legion back to the ground, Legion turns to see how his foe managed to do such a thing after that assumed fatal blow. Legions sees Biollante slowly lift her head from the ground, with blood streaming out the corner of her eye, and from her mouth. Biollante glares back with a sinister look in her eye. Biollante quickly rips Legion toward her as fast as she can. Legion slams into Biollante’s body, she opens her mouth and bites down onto Legion’s abdomen. Biollante bites down as hard as she can, the sound of Legion’s exoskeleton cracking and breaking echoes through the air. Followed by the pain filled metallic screech of Legion. Legions uses its energy whips to cut up the back of Biollante’s head and body. But Biollante’s is too determined to finish this once and for all.

Legion squirms in the grasp of the tentacles, but she can’t manage to break free. The flower glows the brightest it has ever glowed, and then suddenly goes dark. Suddenly the plant explodes sending a huge roaring wall of flames toward the two combatants. The flames envelope the pair of kaiju, the loud roar drowns out there last cries of pain. The outline of the monsters can be seen in the flames, but only momentarily. After only a few seconds there silhouettes disappear in the flames. After several hours the place where the battle once took place has been burned clean. Except there is something of the two monsters left, there bodies have been incinerated but they still remain standing, like large golems made of ash. There bodies where burned so quickly that is preserved a great amount of detail. Biollante still managed to retain its restrictive grasp on Legion, despite the explosion. A gust of wind sweeps down and the remains of the two giants begin to blow away in the wind. Except for Biollante, some of her ashes blow away but some of her remains turn into a yellowish-gold light and they begin to float off into the sky and then into space. After the remains blow away nothing remain of the battle that took place, except for maybe a few holes in the ground, and the disappearance of the forest but those will grow back in time. Perhaps no one may know of the great battle between these two giants.
