It has just been announced that PLAYMATES TOYS has acquired the rights to Peter Jackson's KING KONG film due out in December 2005. They have done STAR TREK, THE SIMPSONS, the Ninja Turtles when Image Comics had toys coming out such as Wild Cats and Savage Dragon, which they also did.
Probably the Ninja Turtles was their most successful line. THE SIMPSONS were produced by them from 2000 until this past year and was also quite successful in its first two years or so.

Sweet! Ive always want a motorized "Kong on Empire State Building Bank"
(You put a coin in Kongs hand instead of Ann Darrow, and when he goes to set her down, the coins goes in a little slot)
Or a classic Kong figure. Also,Mcfarlene did a Kong figure at one time also....
