New monster needs origin

I just created a monster, Pleisidon, and am going to make a fic. But he needs an origin. I don't want him to be another radioactive mutant or god monster. Does anyone have any ideas for an origin?

His appearence is a blue crocodile with Gamera tusks, webbed feet with sharp claws, a whale's fin on the end of his tail, and GMK baragon legs but just a bit longer.

Whoa hold up there, Pleisidon will not be some all powerful another dimensional demon here to cause Chaos. I think I've got it, when the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs stikes Earth, the explosion caused by the impact creates an alternate dimension. Some of the dinos get trapped in the alternate dimension and evolve. Later, in our time, another asteroid hits Earth, reopening that dimension and Pleisidon comes into our world.

You misunderstood me, Pleisidon wouldn't be the interdimensional being, but would be transported form it's dimension to the Gigaraptor dimension by interdimensional beings. But your origin is good too. :)

Pleisidon gets his own series, but I might bring them together some time. But here is da final plot. The asteroid that wiped out the dinos, when it hits earth, hits the planet with such force that it creates an alternate dimension that some dinos get trapped in and they evolve into large and in charge creatures. 65 million years later, another asteroid hits Earth, only this one doesn't wipe out almost all life. The impact opens up a portal to the dimension where some of the dinos went. Pleisidon and Stegrial come out. Then they have a fight in Miami and then Orlando.
