It says what you did in the "User C/P" section of the top of the forum page.

actually i was referring to u all as "godzilla nerds" and since when is that derogatory?

Awwww.... IMO, that's a little silly of a reason to get a warning.
But that's just me. I respect the higher-ups decisions....

There's further explanation over in the Lunar Eclipse (http://www.kaijuphile.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5506) thread. I believe the use of quotes AND only using the term once would have prevented this.

lol no, it was a lame reason. i bet it was u who did that raptor. ur the one who doesn't like me. but whatever.

nerd or geek is not derogatory. in fact many take it as a compliment. i like to consider myself a computer nerd or computer geek. i like it when ppl call me that because it shows that i really know my stuff.

It is the POSTS we're focusing on. nerd or geek is not derogatory. in fact many take it as a compliment. i like to consider myself a computer nerd or computer geek. i like it when ppl call me that because it shows that i really know my stuff. That is the ORIGINAL meaning/use of the terms. Look at some of the "school" discussion threads in General Chat and see how this particular group of people (the members here) use "labels". I'm sure "geek" and "nerd" around a workplace have a much more respectful meaning than they do on the AVERAGE internet message board. :)

Check out On being "different". (http://www.kaijuphile.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4932) THIS is where "problems" can arise, I believe.

Regardless, this is the sort of thing that needs to be talked about in private, and not have a thread devoted to it
