Gigaraptor vs. Quasar
Roswell, New Mexico June, 1947…
After a thunderstorm, a local sheep farmer, William Brazel, went out on his ranch to feed his sheep. While walking along, the William found debris of some type near a large rock. The wreckage was odd, unlike the man had ever seen before.
Brazel called in the Roswell sheriff’s department to have a look at the rubble. The Sheriff was just as clueless about the debris as the farmer was. A few days later a story on the debris was the cover story of the local paper. Some people began to speculate the debris had a connection between mysterious lights that had been seen in the sky. The government stepped in on the debate over what the wreckage was and claimed the debris was a crashed weather balloon that was blown off course. The rubble was cleaned up and taken to White-Patterson Airbase in Dayton, Ohio.
Dayton, Ohio September, 1947…
The debris from Roswell was flown to Wright-Patterson airbase. The Air Force had told the public that the debris was a crashed weather balloon, but honestly, they didn’t know what the hell it was. After examining the wreckage. Employees Percy Clark and Victor Prichard were assigned to examine the debris.
Percy put on his gloves and was digging through the rubble. Victor was examining the stuff Percy pushed aside. Victor was astounded at the metal in this pile. Aside from black marks from burns, this metal was virtually in perfect condition. Victor exclaimed, “This metal is awesome, it survived whatever happened to this crap. If only we could” Percy cut in, “Look…at…this.” Percy pushed aside some metal and there were four bodies.
The bodies looked like little children but they had upside down pear heads and oval eyes going diagonal pointing towards the middle of their faces where instead of a nose, were only two slits for nostrils. The two men were shocked to see this. They called in a supervisor and the bodies were taken to Hangar 87.
The bodies were going to be frozen, but an autopsy was performed prior to the freezing. The bodies were human-like in appearance, but had followed a different evolutionary path than Homo sapiens. The bodies were classified as EBE’s, or Extraterrestrial Biological Entities. The bodies were later frozen and not much else was heard about them after that.
Gray Capital City, The Third Planet of the Zeta Reticuli System, Present Day…
“Damn it, it’s been at least 50 years since we sent that expedition to that blue planet (Earth) in the Galaxy 1056 (Our galaxy),” a Gray leader yelled as he spoke in front of the Gray Parliament. The Grays were a race of aliens that resembled the popular image, upside down pear head with the oval eyes, of aliens on Earth.
The Grays had been watching the Blue Planet for thousands of years, influencing the growth of the primitive race there. The Grays had sent a spacecraft there to totally reveal the existence of Grays to the race on that puny planet. The Grays were going to show the people of that planet their technology and offer a peace treaty with them. But the spacecraft had gone off of the registry and off of radar. The Grays ignored this for a while but almost 60 years had passes since the last contact with the craft.
This Parliament meeting was called to discuss what to do about the lost craft. One Gray said that a craft should be sent to see what happened. But Quazga, an old corrupt Gray, argued that the residents of the blue planet destroyed the craft as an act of war.
Quazga was highly respected on the Gray Parliament, even though he was getting older and he was losing his mind a bit, so the rest of the Gray Parliament agreed with him. The Parliament decided to respond to this ‘act of war’ with an attack on the planet. A fleet was readied and launched in the direction of the blue planet.
The Seventh Planet of the Zeta Reticuli System…
The Grays weren’t the only race that influenced growth and development of the Blue Planet. Another race known as the Murks also had plans for the planet. The Murks had plans to one day go to the Blue Planet and reap the planet’s many resources and use the population as slave labor. The Blue Planet’s population was getting to high for the planet to support and the Murk developed and released a disease for population control that the Blue Planet’s people called AIDS. The Murks had been watching the Blue Planet lately and decided it was now or never for reaping the planet’s resources because they were getting close to being gone.
The Murks were over six feet tall and were totally black in color. They had long arms, alarmingly red eyes and a repulsive potbelly. They were the farthest from the center of the Zeta Reticuli system and barely associated with the other races in the system. They were basically isolated from the rest of the system and lived in a dark part of the galaxy.
The Murks readied a fleet of resource sapping saucers to invade the Blue Planet. The Murks also created a saucer that would be useful for rounding up the races on the planet. Lastly the Murks created a monster called Wodaws to ‘encourage’ the people to surrender.
Wodaws looked like a giant bird, but it had no wings. Instead of wings it had a pair of arms with long claws on each hand. The creature was a quadruped, meaning it walked on all fours, and like the Murks, it was all black except red eyes. The Murkish fleet took off into space headed and entered Hyper Drive to reach the blue planet.
Dayton, Ohio, Earth…
The Gray had found the bio-signals of the four Grays sent to Earth 57 years ago in this populace center of the Blue Planet. The Grays, being a usually peaceful race, would see if the lost Grays were still alive and would rescue them without doing any damage to the Blue Planet. The Grays’ ships were undetectable by human radar and had an invisibility feature also. A single ship was landed in the woods near the town just to see if the lost Grays were still alive. The Grays were a highly psychic race and could erase minds if any humans saw them. The rescue ship had five grays armed with GW-459 blasters in case of any conflict with humans.
The rescue troop got out of the ship and walked into the city. It was the time when the Blue Planet’s axis turned it away from the sun and the planet’s moon shown. At this time the people on the planet slept. This was a great time to sneak into a human building. This building where the lost Grays were being held was different though. Humans that wielded some form of weaponry constantly patrolled the building. The rescue fleet snuck up on the guards and the Grays held up their hands and a blue energy surged out and knocked out the guards. The Grays continued into the building.
The troop made it into the place where the bio-signs of the lost Grays were. There was a large door blocking them though. The Grays lifted up their blasters and blew the door away. The room was very cold, the troop pulled out a drawer and found the lost Grays, but they were frozen in a block of ice. They were obviously dead. The leader of the troop, Goral, thought to himself, “Damn it, these humans blew up the Gray ship and froze the Grays in ice. They obviously want a war with us.” Goral gave the order to the troop to blast the building apart.
The troop open fired on the building. Guards rushed to the scene and they fell victim to the blasts. All except Andrew Flynn, he dodged the blasts and fired his M-16 at the Grays. He managed to down one. Andrew continued firing and he managed to down two more.
The troop only had two Grays left and were desperately trying to escape the ruins of the building. Andrew pursued them until they got to their ship. The ship rose up into the air and Andrew fired at it until it flew to the main fleet of Gray ships orbiting the planet.
Goral had escaped from the building and approached Yitso, the General. Goral said, “Those humans blew up the lost Gray’s ship and froze the crew in blocks of ice and left them there. The human want a fight.” Yitso replied, “Then we will give them one. We will attack this populace center called ‘Las Angeles’ it is the largest human city this side of the continent. Perfect for starting our war on the humans.” Goral replied, “Yes sir.”
The Pentagon, Washington D.C…
After a growing amount of monster attacks on the west coast, the military decided to develop a weapon to do battle with the monsters. In the end, EMAR was created. EMAR stood for Evil Monster Attack Robot.
EMAR looked like a giant mechanical human with twin blasters instead of hands. EMAR was equipped with a phazer on one hand and a missile blaster on the other hand. EMAR also had jet boosters on his back for flight. EMAR’s top flying speed was mach 3. EMAR was missing one thing though he needed a pilot. The pilot would risk being incinerated if EMAR was blown up. Not many soldiers were up to the task.
There was one soldier who wanted to pilot EMAR though. It was Andrew Flynn. He had been brought in after an incident in Dayton, Ohio involving a base being destroyed. Since no one else volunteered, he was given the proper training without question.
Las Angeles, California…
It was a usual rush hour afternoon in Las Angeles. Professor Edward Kenton was taking a stroll downtown. Kenton was a brilliant scientist in the field of cloning. Kenton had almost cloned a Utah Raptor twice, but both times ended in something much worse. The first attempt had resulted in the giant raptor Gigaraptor. Gigaraptor had been mutated from an embryo to a giant raptor when Kenton’s lab was shut down and the embryo was thrown away and was exposed to toxic waste. Kenton had an odd telepathic connection with Gigaraptor and had the beast protect Earth.
Kenton picked up a copy of USA Today and read the headlines, “Mysterious Explosion rocks Dayton, Ohio!” Kenton didn’t bother to read the story and looked at the Health and Science department instead. The sky was suddenly darkened and Kenton looked up. A bunch of space ships were hovering over the city and open firing on all the buildings.
Kenton was going to call Gigaraptor but before he could a giant robotic human flew in and started firing missiles at the space ships. The robot had the letters EMAR printed on its chest under an American flag. Kenton assumed EMAR was the robot’s title. EMAR seemed to have the space ships under control so Kenton didn’t call Gigaraptor.
EMAR was in full force against the space ships. The pilot Andrew was determined to finish off those aliens. EMAR continuously fired his missiles at the space ships. Andrew thought he had finished off the fleet but larger space ships shaped like flying tanks moved in. These were Gray Battle Ships. EMAR fired missiles at them but it came to no avail.
Since the missiles didn’t work, Andrew decided to use EMAR’s phazer. EMAR’s left hand began to glow as he charged the phazer. EMAR fired the phazer and it annilated some of the battleships. EMAR continually fired the phazer until the ships began retreating.
Outside of Earth’s Atmosphere…
EMAR gave chase to the retreating ships and followed the ships into a huge fleet of space ships in orbit around Earth. Andrew was determined to get rid of these aliens. He blasted missiles as a bigger fleet moved toward him. The missiles worked but there were just to many ships. EMAR tried the phazer but it didn’t help him much either. He could destroy the ships, there were just to damn many. EMAR’s missile blasting arm was blown off in the process.
Andrew was not going to risk it, he juiced up EMAR’s engines as fast as they would go and he retreated back to EMAR’s launching garage. EMAR was landed and readied for repairs. Andrew told the repair team to outfit EMAR with new weapons. The team obliged and they began work.
Back in Las Angeles…
The Murks had seen the Gray activity in the city. Fortunately, the Gray space ships hadn’t killed very many people so the Murks would start harvesting slaves here. The holding saucer hovered above a broad avenue and fired a blue beam at the ground. Wodaws was released. The holding saucer landed and Murks with sun blasters come out.
A large holographic screen was projected from the ship. On the hologram, a Murk appeared and said, “Humans, greetings to you from the Seventh Planet of the Zeta Reticuli System. We are the Murk. We have been influencing the development of your species for thousands of years. Now we are coming to you to harvest your pathetic societies as slave labor for our world. If you feel like resisting, take a look at our monster Wodaw’s power.” Wodaws fired a red beam from his eyes and destroyed an entire block.
The people of the city were panicked. They were running in all directions. One of the Murks flipped a switch in the saucer and an energy wall suddenly surrounded the entire city. The people were trapped inside the city with the Murks and Wodaws.
Kenton mentally called Gigaraptor; the raptor surfaced from the sea and tried to run in the city. Giga ran into the energy wall. The raptor was knocked back. Gigaraptor got up and studied the energy wall, it only went up to 400 feet and Giga was over 300 feet tall. Giga went to a different part of the city where one could go north and Gigaraptor reared back. He darted at the wall and jumped right before he hit the wall. Giga was able to clear the wall and now he was in the city.
Gigaraptor searched the city for Kenton. He found Wodaws first though. Wodaws snarled at Giga with a high-pitched roar. Giga roared back with his raptor screech. Wodaws charged at Gigaraptor and pounced on him. Wodaws slashed Giga with his claws and gave Gigaraptor a deep cut in his shoulder. Giga threw the beast off of him and smacked the beast with his tail.
Wodaws got up and ran at Gigaraptor again, this time jumping up and biting Giga in the left arm. Gigaraptor scratched Wodaws but it held on tight. Giga screeched in pain and kept slashing Wodaws. Gigaraptor managed to make a gash in Wodaw’s shoulder and the creature let go. Gigaraptor pounced on Wodaws and scratched up the beast with his foot claws. Wodaws screamed and fired his eye beams the mauling Gigaraptor.
Gigaraptor was knocked off of Wodaws by the beams. The beams made two burns in Giga’s right leg. Gigaraptor inhaled a bunch of air and blasted his acidic fire at Wodaws. Wodaws was deeply wounded by the fire and was stumbling just trying to walk. Wodaws fired his eye beams to try to fend off Giga. The beams missed Gigaraptor all together and Giga spit acid on Wodaws. The acid melted away a large portion of Wodaws’ hide and exposed his alien entrails. Gigaraptor felt the urge to eat the entrails even against his better judgment. Gigaraptor stepped over his fallen opponent and roared in triumph. Then Giga stuck his head into the wound and began eating Wodaw’s meat.
After eating a good portion of Wodaws innards, Gigaraptor fell back. The raptor was going through intense pain on the inside. Gigaraptor then got up and ran at the saucer that was rounding people up. Gigaraptor fired beams from his eyes that were very similar to Wodaw’s eye beams. The beams destroyed the saucer and the energy walls disappeared. The people that weren’t captured by the Murks were still in panic, but relieved that the saucer was destroyed.
Kenton had climbed into a manhole to escape the Murks and he had watched the fight between Gigaraptor and Wodaws from there. Kenton was puzzled at Gigaraptor’s sudden ability to fire eye beams. Then Kenton remembered that Giga had eaten a portion of Wodaw’s entrails. Kenton figured that Gigaraptor had gained the eye beam power from Wodaws.
Outside of Earth’s Atmosphere…
EMAR was not only repaired, he was outfitted with new parts also. EMAR’s right arm blaster had been replaced with a plasma sword. The left arm blaster was upgraded to a four-barrel phazer. EMAR took off from his launching dock and flew back to the orbiting Gray fleet for revenge.
EMAR flew straight into the fleet and blasted away with the phazer. After destroying about thirty or so ships, the ships started attacking EMAR in large clouds of ships. EMAR sliced right through these clouds with his plasma sword.
The Gray Battleships were flying in large waves at EMAR the four-barrel phazer made quick work of these waves. After about an hour of mindlessly destroying Gray ships, one ship remained, the mother ship.
The Mother Ship was the key weapon in space fleet fights. While the rest of the fleet would act as a shield, the Mother Ship would fire powerful beams from behind at opposing armies. The Mother Ship was one on one this time though.
The crew on the Mother Ship was trained to destroy anything in space. It was equipped with Grayserite cannons, the most powerful weapons that the Grays had. Grayserite was a radioactive mineral found only on the Gray home world. The Grayserite was used to power the cannon. The cannon was proven to be able to destroy moons and asteroids in one blast.
EMAR fired his phazer at the Mother Ship; the Mother Ship easily deflected the blast with an energy shield. EMAR tried the Plasma Sword, also blocked by the shield. A hole in the shield opened up and the Grayserite cannon was fired. The blast was barely avoided by EMAR. Andrew thought to himself, “They have to open up the shield to fire the beam, so I have to wait for them to open up one more time and fire the Phazer in before they can fire their beam.”
EMAR would dart around the ship until it fired its beam. After about a minute or so of darting around, the cannon on the ship was charging up. EMAR flew in close and as the shield opened up he mindlessly fired the phazer. The phazer blasts were just in time too. The mother ship was crippled severely and not fit to fly. Grays started evacuating in escape pods. EMAR sliced the ship with his plasma sword and the ship was going to explode.
EMAR flew as fast as his rockets propelled him and he got far enough away from the ship to be safe. Most of the escape pods had gotten far enough away and entered hyperspace to escape back to the Gray home world.
One pod wasn’t so quick; it got caught in the explosion. There was a large cloud of Grayserite radiation and the cloud disappeared quickly into the ruins of the pod. The Gray in the pod started growing alarmingly quick. It grew to a huge size and took on a new appearance. The new creature looked like a Gray but its shoulders were broader and reached above the head. The creature’s arms got longer and bulkier. Lastly, the creature’s legs grew bulky and long.
The new creature looked at EMAR and used telepathy to talk to Andrew. It said, “I am Quasar. The Gray fleet may have been destroyed but I will avenge it by destroying the Blue Planet.” Andrew thought to himself, “No you’re not.”
EMAR swung at Quasar with his plasma sword, Quasar grabbed EMAR’s arm and ripped it off. The Plasma Sword still worked even though the arm was detached. Quasar swung the arm at EMAR and caused severe damage to its left leg. EMAR fired its phazer at Quasar; the blast didn’t even bother the brute. Quasar punched the robot and damaged its hull. Andrew was not going to let this thing destroy Earth; he fired EMAR’s phazers with all his might. Quasar was knocked back a bit, but not much. Quasar raised his hand and used telekinesis to throw EMAR down at the Earth. As the robot fell, Andrew escaped in an escape ship and watched in horror as EMAR fell to Earth.
Instead of chasing Andrew, Quasar decided to attack the Earth city where the fleet had last attacked. Quasar generated a psychic shield and went down into Earth’s atmosphere.
Back in Las Angeles…
Gigaraptor defeated Wodaws but stuck around since he had a feeling that more problems were on the way. He was right. He looked up and saw Quasar coming down.
Giga ran and pounced on the landing Quasar and knocked him out of the air. Quasar threw Giga off of him and pile drove the raptor. Giga spun on the ground and knocked Quasar over with his tail. Giga jumped on Quasar and started slashing the brute with his claws. Quasar grabbed Gigaraptor and threw him at a building. Giga hit the building and it crumbled down. Giga shook it off and dashed toward Quasar and running kicked the alien.
Quasar thought, “I’m not going to let this damn earth reptile stop me from avenging my fallen fleet!” Quasar raised his hand and lifted Giga into the air with telekinesis. Gigaraptor struggled to break free and Quasar laughed.
As Quasar was laughing, Gigaraptor fired one of his new eye beams at the alien. The blast caused Quasar to drop Giga. Quasar’s eyes turned and evil glowing green and he opened his mouth and fired a Grayserite beam at Giga. The beam hit Gigaraptor and made a gash in his shoulder. Gigaraptor jumped up and spit acid at Quasar. The acid hit Quasar in the arm and he bled an emerald colored blood. Gigaraptor jumped over the pool of blood and scratched Quasar with his arms. Quasar grabbed Gigaraptor with his arms and threw him at the ground.
Gigaraptor’s spine was hurt, but he got up anyway. Gigaraptor bit Quasar on the left shoulder and held on tight. Gigaraptor also swung the rest of his body and grabbed the brute with his arms and his foot claws. Giga mauled Quasar until he used telekinesis on Gigaraptor and lifted him up into the air and slammed him into the ground. Gigaraptor limped up and gulped a large amount of air and blew Acidic Fire at Quasar. Quasar screeched in pain when the fire hit him and he was greatly weakened.
Quasar was a mess now; he was bleeding all over and was bruised up pretty bad. He knew that he couldn’t defeat Giga now so he tried to scramble away. Gigaraptor grabbed a radio tower and impaled Quasar as he tried to escape. Quasar tried telekinesis, but he was too weak now. Giga lifted Quasar up and slammed him back on the ground. Quasar coughed up blood and watched in horror as Gigaraptor stepped on top of him and dug his claw into Quasar’s back.
Quasar was ready to give up; the stinging twinge in his back was overwhelming. Gigaraptor stepped over Quasar’s head and crushed it with his foot. Quasar was obviously dead now and Gigaraptor roared in triumph. Quasar held on to life for one more second and said, “My race will be back, mark my words. They will avenge me.” Quasar died after that and his life force drifted out of his body and floated off into space. Gigaraptor continued to roar in triumph as he stood over Quasar’s lifeless body. The Earth was saved.

The leader of the troop, Goral, thought to himself, “Damn it, these humans blew up the Gray ship and froze the Grays in ice. They obviously want a war with us.” Goral gave the order to the troop to blast the building apart.
The troop open fired on the building. Guards rushed to the scene and they fell victim to the blasts. All except Andrew Flynn, he dodged the blasts and fired his M-16 at the Grays. He managed to down one. Andrew continued firing and he managed to down two more.
The troop only had two Grays left and were desperately trying to escape the ruins of the building. Andrew pursued them until they got to their ship. The ship rose up into the air and Andrew fired at it until it flew to the main fleet of Gray ships orbiting the planet.
Goral had escaped from the building and approached Yitso, the General. Goral said, “Those humans blew up the lost Gray’s ship and froze the crew in blocks of ice and left them there. The human want a fight.” Yitso replied, “Then we will give them one. We will attack this populace center called ‘Las Angeles’ it is the largest human city this side of the continent. Perfect for starting our war on the humans.” Goral replied, “Yes sir.”
The Pentagon, Washington D.C…
After a growing amount of monster attacks on the west coast, the military decided to develop a weapon to do battle with the monsters. In the end, EMAR was created. EMAR stood for Evil Monster Attack Robot.
EMAR looked like a giant mechanical human with twin blasters instead of hands. EMAR was equipped with a phazer on one hand and a missile blaster on the other hand. EMAR also had jet boosters on his back for flight. EMAR’s top flying speed was mach 3. EMAR was missing one thing though he needed a pilot. The pilot would risk being incinerated if EMAR was blown up. Not many soldiers were up to the task.
There was one soldier who wanted to pilot EMAR though. It was Andrew Flynn. He had been brought in after an incident in Dayton, Ohio involving a base being destroyed. Since no one else volunteered, he was given the proper training without question.
Las Angeles, California…
It was a usual rush hour afternoon in Las Angeles. Professor Edward Kenton was taking a stroll downtown. Kenton was a brilliant scientist in the field of cloning. Kenton had almost cloned a Utah Raptor twice, but both times ended in something much worse. The first attempt had resulted in the giant raptor Gigaraptor. Gigaraptor had been mutated from an embryo to a giant raptor when Kenton’s lab was shut down and the embryo was thrown away and was exposed to toxic waste. Kenton had an odd telepathic connection with Gigaraptor and had the beast protect Earth.
Kenton picked up a copy of USA Today and read the headlines, “Mysterious Explosion rocks Dayton, Ohio!” Kenton didn’t bother to read the story and looked at the Health and Science department instead. The sky was suddenly darkened and Kenton looked up. A bunch of space ships were hovering over the city and open firing on all the buildings.
Kenton was going to call Gigaraptor but before he could a giant robotic human flew in and started firing missiles at the space ships. The robot had the letters EMAR printed on its chest under an American flag. Kenton assumed EMAR was the robot’s title. EMAR seemed to have the space ships under control so Kenton didn’t call Gigaraptor.
EMAR was in full force against the space ships. The pilot Andrew was determined to finish off those aliens. EMAR continuously fired his missiles at the space ships. Andrew thought he had finished off the fleet but larger space ships shaped like flying tanks moved in. These were Gray Battle Ships. EMAR fired missiles at them but it came to no avail.
Since the missiles didn’t work, Andrew decided to use EMAR’s phazer. EMAR’s left hand began to glow as he charged the phazer. EMAR fired the phazer and it annilated some of the battleships. EMAR continually fired the phazer until the ships began retreating.
Outside of Earth’s Atmosphere…
EMAR gave chase to the retreating ships and followed the ships into a huge fleet of space ships in orbit around Earth. Andrew was determined to get rid of these aliens. He blasted missiles as a bigger fleet moved toward him. The missiles worked but there were just to many ships. EMAR tried the phazer but it didn’t help him much either. He could destroy the ships, there were just to damn many. EMAR’s missile blasting arm was blown off in the process.
Andrew was not going to risk it, he juiced up EMAR’s engines as fast as they would go and he retreated back to EMAR’s launching garage. EMAR was landed and readied for repairs. Andrew told the repair team to outfit EMAR with new weapons. The team obliged and they began work.
Back in Las Angeles…
The Murks had seen the Gray activity in the city. Fortunately, the Gray space ships hadn’t killed very many people so the Murks would start harvesting slaves here. The holding saucer hovered above a broad avenue and fired a blue beam at the ground. Wodaws was released. The holding saucer landed and Murks with sun blasters come out.
A large holographic screen was projected from the ship. On the hologram, a Murk appeared and said, “Humans, greetings to you from the Seventh Planet of the Zeta Reticuli System. We are the Murk. We have been influencing the development of your species for thousands of years. Now we are coming to you to harvest your pathetic societies as slave labor for our world. If you feel like resisting, take a look at our monster Wodaw’s power.” Wodaws fired a red beam from his eyes and destroyed an entire block.
The people of the city were panicked. They were running in all directions. One of the Murks flipped a switch in the saucer and an energy wall suddenly surrounded the entire city. The people were trapped inside the city with the Murks and Wodaws.
Kenton mentally called Gigaraptor; the raptor surfaced from the sea and tried to run in the city. Giga ran into the energy wall. The raptor was knocked back. Gigaraptor got up and studied the energy wall, it only went up to 400 feet and Giga was over 300 feet tall. Giga went to a different part of the city where one could go north and Gigaraptor reared back. He darted at the wall and jumped right before he hit the wall. Giga was able to clear the wall and now he was in the city.
Gigaraptor searched the city for Kenton. He found Wodaws first though. Wodaws snarled at Giga with a high-pitched roar. Giga roared back with his raptor screech. Wodaws charged at Gigaraptor and pounced on him. Wodaws slashed Giga with his claws and gave Gigaraptor a deep cut in his shoulder. Giga threw the beast off of him and smacked the beast with his tail.
Wodaws got up and ran at Gigaraptor again, this time jumping up and biting Giga in the left arm. Gigaraptor scratched Wodaws but it held on tight. Giga screeched in pain and kept slashing Wodaws. Gigaraptor managed to make a gash in Wodaw’s shoulder and the creature let go. Gigaraptor pounced on Wodaws and scratched up the beast with his foot claws. Wodaws screamed and fired his eye beams the mauling Gigaraptor.
Gigaraptor was knocked off of Wodaws by the beams. The beams made two burns in Giga’s right leg. Gigaraptor inhaled a bunch of air and blasted his acidic fire at Wodaws. Wodaws was deeply wounded by the fire and was stumbling just trying to walk. Wodaws fired his eye beams to try to fend off Giga. The beams missed Gigaraptor all together and Giga spit acid on Wodaws. The acid melted away a large portion of Wodaws’ hide and exposed his alien entrails. Gigaraptor felt the urge to eat the entrails even against his better judgment. Gigaraptor stepped over his fallen opponent and roared in triumph. Then Giga stuck his head into the wound and began eating Wodaw’s meat.
After eating a good portion of Wodaws innards, Gigaraptor fell back. The raptor was going through intense pain on the inside. Gigaraptor then got up and ran at the saucer that was rounding people up. Gigaraptor fired beams from his eyes that were very similar to Wodaw’s eye beams. The beams destroyed the saucer and the energy walls disappeared. The people that weren’t captured by the Murks were still in panic, but relieved that the saucer was destroyed.
Kenton had climbed into a manhole to escape the Murks and he had watched the fight between Gigaraptor and Wodaws from there. Kenton was puzzled at Gigaraptor’s sudden ability to fire eye beams. Then Kenton remembered that Giga had eaten a portion of Wodaw’s entrails. Kenton figured that Gigaraptor had gained the eye beam power from Wodaws.
Outside of Earth’s Atmosphere…
EMAR was not only repaired, he was outfitted with new parts also. EMAR’s right arm blaster had been replaced with a plasma sword. The left arm blaster was upgraded to a four-barrel phazer. EMAR took off from his launching dock and flew back to the orbiting Gray fleet for revenge.
EMAR flew straight into the fleet and blasted away with the phazer. After destroying about thirty or so ships, the ships started attacking EMAR in large clouds of ships. EMAR sliced right through these clouds with his plasma sword.
The Gray Battleships were flying in large waves at EMAR the four-barrel phazer made quick work of these waves. After about an hour of mindlessly destroying Gray ships, one ship remained, the mother ship.
The Mother Ship was the key weapon in space fleet fights. While the rest of the fleet would act as a shield, the Mother Ship would fire powerful beams from behind at opposing armies. The Mother Ship was one on one this time though.
The crew on the Mother Ship was trained to destroy anything in space. It was equipped with Grayserite cannons, the most powerful weapons that the Grays had. Grayserite was a radioactive mineral found only on the Gray home world. The Grayserite was used to power the cannon. The cannon was proven to be able to destroy moons and asteroids in one blast.
EMAR fired his phazer at the Mother Ship; the Mother Ship easily deflected the blast with an energy shield. EMAR tried the Plasma Sword, also blocked by the shield. A hole in the shield opened up and the Grayserite cannon was fired. The blast was barely avoided by EMAR. Andrew thought to himself, “They have to open up the shield to fire the beam, so I have to wait for them to open up one more time and fire the Phazer in before they can fire their beam.”
EMAR would dart around the ship until it fired its beam. After about a minute or so of darting around, the cannon on the ship was charging up. EMAR flew in close and as the shield opened up he mindlessly fired the phazer. The phazer blasts were just in time too. The mother ship was crippled severely and not fit to fly. Grays started evacuating in escape pods. EMAR sliced the ship with his plasma sword and the ship was going to explode.
EMAR flew as fast as his rockets propelled him and he got far enough away from the ship to be safe. Most of the escape pods had gotten far enough away and entered hyperspace to escape back to the Gray home world.
One pod wasn’t so quick; it got caught in the explosion. There was a large cloud of Grayserite radiation and the cloud disappeared quickly into the ruins of the pod. The Gray in the pod started growing alarmingly quick. It grew to a huge size and took on a new appearance. The new creature looked like a Gray but its shoulders were broader and reached above the head. The creature’s arms got longer and bulkier. Lastly, the creature’s legs grew bulky and long.
The new creature looked at EMAR and used telepathy to talk to Andrew. It said, “I am Quasar. The Gray fleet may have been destroyed but I will avenge it by destroying the Blue Planet.” Andrew thought to himself, “No you’re not.”
EMAR swung at Quasar with his plasma sword, Quasar grabbed EMAR’s arm and ripped it off. The Plasma Sword still worked even though the arm was detached. Quasar swung the arm at EMAR and caused severe damage to its left leg. EMAR fired its phazer at Quasar; the blast didn’t even bother the brute. Quasar punched the robot and damaged its hull. Andrew was not going to let this thing destroy Earth; he fired EMAR’s phazers with all his might. Quasar was knocked back a bit, but not much. Quasar raised his hand and used telekinesis to throw EMAR down at the Earth. As the robot fell, Andrew escaped in an escape ship and watched in horror as EMAR fell to Earth.
Instead of chasing Andrew, Quasar decided to attack the Earth city where the fleet had last attacked. Quasar generated a psychic shield and went down into Earth’s atmosphere.
Back in Las Angeles…
Gigaraptor defeated Wodaws but stuck around since he had a feeling that more problems were on the way. He was right. He looked up and saw Quasar coming down.
Giga ran and pounced on the landing Quasar and knocked him out of the air. Quasar threw Giga off of him and pile drove the raptor. Giga spun on the ground and knocked Quasar over with his tail. Giga jumped on Quasar and started slashing the brute with his claws. Quasar grabbed Gigaraptor and threw him at a building. Giga hit the building and it crumbled down. Giga shook it off and dashed toward Quasar and running kicked the alien.
Quasar thought, “I’m not going to let this damn earth reptile stop me from avenging my fallen fleet!” Quasar raised his hand and lifted Giga into the air with telekinesis. Gigaraptor struggled to break free and Quasar laughed.
As Quasar was laughing, Gigaraptor fired one of his new eye beams at the alien. The blast caused Quasar to drop Giga. Quasar’s eyes turned and evil glowing green and he opened his mouth and fired a Grayserite beam at Giga. The beam hit Gigaraptor and made a gash in his shoulder. Gigaraptor jumped up and spit acid at Quasar. The acid hit Quasar in the arm and he bled an emerald colored blood. Gigaraptor jumped over the pool of blood and scratched Quasar with his arms. Quasar grabbed Gigaraptor with his arms and threw him at the ground.
Gigaraptor’s spine was hurt, but he got up anyway. Gigaraptor bit Quasar on the left shoulder and held on tight. Gigaraptor also swung the rest of his body and grabbed the brute with his arms and his foot claws. Giga mauled Quasar until he used telekinesis on Gigaraptor and lifted him up into the air and slammed him into the ground. Gigaraptor limped up and gulped a large amount of air and blew Acidic Fire at Quasar. Quasar screeched in pain when the fire hit him and he was greatly weakened.
Quasar was a mess now; he was bleeding all over and was bruised up pretty bad. He knew that he couldn’t defeat Giga now so he tried to scramble away. Gigaraptor grabbed a radio tower and impaled Quasar as he tried to escape. Quasar tried telekinesis, but he was too weak now. Giga lifted Quasar up and slammed him back on the ground. Quasar coughed up blood and watched in horror as Gigaraptor stepped on top of him and dug his claw into Quasar’s back.
Quasar was ready to give up; the stinging twinge in his back was overwhelming. Gigaraptor stepped over Quasar’s head and crushed it with his foot. Quasar was obviously dead now and Gigaraptor roared in triumph. Quasar held on to life for one more second and said, “My race will be back, mark my words. They will avenge me.” Quasar died after that and his life force drifted out of his body and floated off into space. Gigaraptor continued to roar in triumph as he stood over Quasar’s lifeless body. The Earth was saved.
